"Your help is excepted," said Kaki with a smile of relief. "I wish to soon return to my duties as a slayer, however, the alliance was broken and our allies were scattered. Even more perplexing is that the Republic and the Empire have not engaged in any official battles since your death, to the day in fact. This has challenged my thinking for the past year. These two events must be linked but I do not know how."

"Not surprising. Before I left the Republic we were undermanned and judging by the fact that an officer was sent all the way out here indicates that the Empire doesn't have many good leaders either since they have to recruit new ones. Perhaps they have the soldiers to fight, but without good generals no battle could be won." He figured he would just cut to the chase now. "Your idea always was to take out the person in charge, but I must ask if you know the targets on either side? If not, I suggest getting this information before going around trying to overthrow anything." Part of him didn't figure Kaki would know just who it was that they were after, but he had learned long before not to doubt him on anything.

"I know that Sonate is still the president of the Republic," said Kaki, "however, the Empress has gone into hiding. It was nearly a year ago and I figure that she is dead and the General is keeping it a secret so that he can rule the Empire. If she is not officially dead, her heir cannot legally take the thrown. I suppose that if she is dead that he was the one to kill her and that if this is discovered it could greatly impact the war for better or worse. If the Republic see the General is ruling, they will quickly strike to stop him, however, the Empress' son is throned it could end this war. He is a good man that can be trusted and favors democracy and has no hatred towards the Republic besides the fact that they have killed many of his people."

Well it seemed that he had taken notes. "So you know at least who you should target, but if you cannot distinguish that person from the group you will never get anything done. I take it you know the Republic leaders by name, but what about the Empire. If the empress is truly gone then who is her replacement." Truthfully he didn't know. You don't vanish just for half a year and come back, no he had been gone a while.

"I did personally know many of the Republic Leaders," he said, "but the identity of many rulers in the Empire have been concealed. I only know those that I have met in war."

Well that was to be expected regardless of how he hoped. "I suppose we will cross that bridge when we get to it. Next is a simple question, have you found any place to make your base of operations? If you truly want to hold an organization then you must have a place where we can plan out our strategy."

"I am not sure," said Kaki grimly. "It would be near impossible to have a base in Durem or Gambino. The people have seen to many battles and shouldn't have us in their city causing more trouble. Aekea is peaceful and it wouldn't be expected for us to be here, however, I do not wish to ruin their peace and it is a terrible distance from Durem."

"Alright I'll lay the ideas out on the table and let you decide. You are the leader after all. It would be foolish to set up a base in either capital as they both may hold potential targets and our base would be endangered. Akea is a decent choice, but as you said it is a long distance away from the two capitals and we would have to plan for long missions. Barton is directly in the middle and will allow for us to make it to and from a capital in a short amount of time, however it also puts us directly in the usual battlefield and we may be pulled into fights that we would rather stay out of. Although there is a number of choices in small towns I would suggest making camp near a city in order to make it easy to get supplies. Its your choice." He had done this research long ago. Usually it was to make camp for a battle in which he was involved in, but not much had changed as far as he knew and he figured the information was still valuable.

"Perhaps we should scout out the Port," said Kaki. "It is very close to the republican capitol and we could actually cut them off from the main land that way. We could simply make it our capitol."

"We can make it work. Besides some if not most people in the Republic may still have some trust in you." Personally he didn't feel welcomed there anymore, but he supposed that some of them may still remember his loyal side. "So maybe we will be able to avoid any confrontations. It'll aid us since as you said it is a strategic location."
"Anyway you look at it it will be in an area away from here. So Kaki you may wish to complete anything you need to around here. Who knows when you'll be here again."

"Perhaps we should recruit," he said. "It would be for a noble cause and is not forbidden in any treaty."
((I banned like all but 5 members the other day for being inactive. We should try to get more rpers into the guild.))

((Would, but I don't know where to start. Wish we could get some of the old ones back. That way we could at least continue a bit of what we started last time.))
"Probably should. I won't be able to do all your work for you." A slight smile, sure technically he was going to be just a subordinate, but that still didn't mean he wouldn't make a somewhat crude comment about Kaki time to time. "All you have to do is decide where. With luck you may find someone here. Still it didn't look like that officer found anyone so we may be out of luck. Maybe Barton..." It was the next city as far as he could remember so it would be the next place to look.

"We should also look for armor and weapon upgrades while here if needed. Some of the best smiths live here."
((I invited some of them back. We can go through the archives and try to find some more. I sent PM's to dreccus, Shinigami, and darkness_00 so far))

"Pretty content with what I have. It has served me well in the past and always kinda figured that I would use it until the end." He had just started fighting again and well he didn't want to let this weapon go just yet. It had already went through all of his training regimen so to him, it was good as it was. "Still you might want to look into it."
((Not sure who else would come back. We might just wait to see how things turn out with them.))

"My weapons are supposed to have been made by the Sawn gods. I shan't anger them by trading them now," said Kaki with a smile.
((Yeah, this is one of the best RPs out there because of the Godmodding prevention and stuff! I don't get why ppl don't come))
