This was entirely not going as planned. The feisty little halfling was fighting back, and not getting hit. In fact, they hadn't landed a single hit yet, And he was the only one suffering so far. Something was incredibly wrong here. Even their leader was having difficulty. Would another lunge prove different?

The blow landed, and it landed hard, giving a large boost to the morale of the fishmen. While it wasn't enough to take the halfling out of commission, it would definitely be noticed.

Jin saw the leader start to grow furious, he figured he should both watch out and turn his attention towards him. With the other Locathah already injured however Jin had a hard time justifying leaving his halfling friend to fight this one alone. He was trained enough to hit both of these fish men at once but with the shaking boat from the hard stomp and batting swells it would be too difficult to strike.
Jin took longer then he had hoped, seeing Jakob hit by the trident. The attack looked jagged and destructive but Jakob looked far from out of the game. Jin's blue eyes gave the thief a look before nodding. He had moved to the side to dodge their leader's crazy strike and Jin retaliated with a quick spinning kick, "Sweeping Dragon Kick!"
Saying his attack was not superfluous, it was an attack he hoped would disorient his opponent. Not only was the monk trained in attacking more then one opponent at once but how to keep highly trained eyes on his opponent as well as making his attacks able to rattle an opponent's body.

(That actually IS a hit, since he's raging and his AC is 12. Go ahead and roll damage. Also, his Fortitude save smile
(Looks like he fails it and is stunned, drops his weapon, the whole 9 yards. His AC is temporarily 9.)

Jin's kick connected on the Locathah leader's chin with a snapping noise after the initial thud. His heel had bitten at his chin hard. It felt good for the monk to finally land such a blow. He knew the Locathah would be thrown for a spin from this. Right as his foot landed he saw it's eyes become unfocused and heard it's trident land on the gorund next to it.
The once raging fish man had been stunned, Jin did not gloat or smile. Merely got ready for his next attack, keeping his mind blank so he could react to the other attacking Loacathah.

Mareak grimaced as the trident connected with his fellow adventurer. A painful blow, to be sure. He hesitated for just a moment, as if contemplating whether or not it was time to let lose the fireworks before shaking his head. Not yet, as that would weaken them for the actual challenge. Instead, he simply raised the crossbow, loaded once more, and shot at the enraged leader.
(Fen, does that hit the leader, or does he have the -4 penalty for being in combat at the moment?)

(Sure, he has the bonus from being in melee... But because he's raging and prone and stunned, you still hit him. His AC is 9 until he recovers. Do your thang.)

Unlike the previous shots, this bolt struck the creature. The quarrel had lodged itself quite firmly into the shoulder of the locathah leader.

That was extremely discouraging to the Locathah. Seeing his leader trounced so badly, especially when he was berserking, was not something he cared for in the slightest. Still, the fight was far from over and he wasn't even injured, so he pressed on, taking another jab at the unarmed man whom he was beginning to realize was quite dangerous. It didn't get him very far.

Being overlooked by the three fishmen suited him just fine. More then likely, it'd be the easiest way to get away without damage. He wasn't betting on it, but it was still a reassuring thought to have. He took another lunge at possible the only fishman not injured yet, and hoped that they'd forget about the dropped trident.

...And it struck! For the first time in this battle, his steel tasted blood, piercing through the amphibious hide, though not as greatly as he had hoped. He was quick to withdraw his blade from the aquan's side, readying for the next attack.

((It's been so long since I posted I had to refresh myself on whats going on))
The creatures strike was hard and fierce. If Jakob had been a second slower he would have been skewered to the fish-creatures trident. Instead it merely ripped into his side shredding through leather armor and ripping open the flesh in his side. He had to end this fight and he had to end it now. Swinging his mace in one hand his other clutching the red spot on his side he made another attack at the creature.
