Deeply enthralled in his own thoughts, he paid no mind to his surroundings or Red for that matter. Until his body guard brought him back to reality, barking at him. He turned to face her at first, and blinked a few times: to be honest, the man didn't see that coming. Caught off guard enough to accidentally drop his cigarette. Light droplets of water fell from the dark, moonless sky – a drizzle.

“Wha-” Rick was cut short in his rebuttal, his body was reacting to the large amount of stress, and in the end couldn't deal with it. He felt the acids in his stomach make him feel sick, the remnants of his meal shot from within his belly to his throat. That was what cut him short, the urge to purge. Luckily, he had the sense to the turn away before doubling over – a disgusting display took place until there was nothing left to regurgitate. His nose burned by the mere scent of what had just left him, jade eyes narrowed in aggravation. This was the third time his body rejected food, and every single time it had something to do with Red.

Only good thing was that his hair didn't have particles of slightly digested food. Yet, he didn't feel well, and the damn clouds decided to let the rain grow heavier with each passing moment. “Goddamn it,” he hissed under his breath wiping his lips with the back of his hand. A disgusting aftertaste remained on his tongue, he hated this. His head was slightly light, and he felt a head ache coming his way.

With a sudden jerk, he pulled away from the area, and took a break leaning against the brick wall. Fluidly, the model glanced back at Red with disdain. She picked the perfect, absolutely, ******** times to blow up. Suddenly, he grimaced at the pain that came in waves – attacking his abdomen. Though, Rick refused to ask for her help as he held his stomach with a single outstretched hand walking as though nothing just happened. His pace slightly slower than normal, but only to prevent aggravating his current condition.

Rizal blinked as a few drops misted her hair. She held out her hands and looked around, great. She frowned and crossed her arms over her chest angrily as Rick began to barf again. She didn't know why he head suddenly become anorexic but it seemed to be every time she was around. She glared at the slumped form feeling like he was doing this just to spite her. This day just couldn't get any worse. The rain pored from the sky to prove her wrong. She stayed put as Rick barfed off to the side, at least he didn't barf on her. The rain dragged at her hair and pulled it down making it fall in front of her face. She flicked the wet strands back sending them over her shoulder like a whip. Her heavy pants dragged at her waist and fell down a bit more. She watched Rick with a glare.

As Rick began to move she kept her ground just waiting for a reason to follow. Slowly, a nagging at her chest pulled her forward and she reluctantly hurried after him. The rain continued to pour and Jennifer soon found herself drenched as she trudged along the street. Unfortunately, she wasn't left alone and she soon found a strange vibration shock through her leg. She jumped a little and grabbed at the little object digging at her pants. She found her pocket and shoved her hand inside shaking all the while with frustration and anger. She grit her face sneering as her hand made contact with the buzzing object. She pulled at it making the lining of her soaked pants grab and hold. Struggling with it for a little while she finally freed the cell phone and pulled it open. "What?" she demanded.

"Jennifer Rizal, you are to report with your ward to psychiatry tomorrow at eight sharp. Details will be sent to your cell phone after this message is complete. End of message." The phone went dead.

Blinking, Rizal didn't exactly know what to think of that. She held the phone away from her ear and examined it to see it looked like it had every other time she opened the contraption. Somewhat miffed, she shut the phone and stuffed it back in her pocket righting the lining and watching Rick walk. He was still hobbling along quite pathetically. She ran up to him again catching up quickly. There was just something about his slow gate that she didn't seem to get. Considering what to do she chose that telling him would be a bad thing. If he knew, then he could always try to escape before eight. If he didn't know, then she could just take him to the place and force him to stay there. That would be the better option.

With that decided Jennifer stayed quiet about the call and crossed her arms over her chest walking by him slowly. She walked closer to the street then him making sure to keep a good foot between the two of them. She didn't want to get close enough to get barfed on. Unfortunately that put her near the edge of the side walk and a few cars were starting to splash puddles. Not being one to care, Jennifer ignored a particularly big puddle with a particularly fast car. The car zipped through it and sprayed Jennifer with the mucky water that had already collected from the rain. She had her arm down protecting her gun from getting too wet and just turned her head to the side leaving her hair to shield her face.

Cloudy jade eyes glanced over to the left, the sudden presence of something there had caught his attention: Red. She probably didn't want to be anywhere near him after what happened mid-through the shooting, and what took place only a few moments ago. At this point, Rick convinced himself that he didn't care as his free hand slid into his pocket. Delicate to nudge the pack open, pair of fingers slid further more down to lightly grasp a stick of cancer. In moments, the nicotine was pressed against his lips -- not bothering to light it since the rain would've just put it out, and instead settled for the comfort of its presence.

Sound of a speeding car recklessly shot down the lane, from the corner of his eye he could see the murky, polluted water hit his bodyguard. The girl probably didn't care, oh so he assumed, after seeing her not doing anything to prevent being thoroughly wet. While the ebony-haired model was somewhat glad to see that they were only a few steps away from his apartment.

Unlike outside, where it was dimly lit, the bright lights shocked him enough to cause him to blink a bit before adjusting to the change. Now, free from the rain the man sat down on the steps leading up to four floors, and then there was his floor: penthouse. Absent-mindedly he snapped the lighter open, before noticing how bad Red looked. The raven-haired, green-eyed man put away the cigarette that hung between his lips. No blood was visible, but she did a crappy job cleaning herself up, and a pang of guilt hit him along with compassion. Enough so that his resentment and anger eased away, and tucked away until later.

"You look like s**t," he commented, a simple observation on his part. Not soon after he tugged at her wrist to bring her near as he stood up to examine her even closer. On the streets the lights didn't reveal half as much of detail as being inside did. Inwardly sighing to himself, it's my fault you're like this. Somehow, he should've done something, said anything to have stopped it, but instead he stalked out of the building to take comfort in smoking while ignoring her situation. "C'mon." Not having let go of her wrist, and slowly walking into the elevator, poking the appropriate button -- and still not letting go of her.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 14, 2008 8:01 pm

Rizal accepted his grasp at her wrist when he found it necessary to pull her along but she did not like his statement. She gave him a sneer as if to say that he didn't look any better and allowed herself to be dragged around. She didn't really notice why he was saying she looked like s**t. Personally she thought it was because of the water splashing her and because she had run all the way there. It didn't cross her mind that she had bruises and such all over herself and that her busted lip was stinging because the dirty water got on it. She was thinking more about the therapist appointment then the water or the beating though. Her phone vibrated as they got in the elevator and she jumped a little digging in her pocket with her free hand and pulling it out. She flipped it open and looked at the screen. It gave an address, map, name, and time of the appointment. She quickly memorized the information by repeating it in her head and shut the phone as they reached the proper level of the apartment building. When the doors opened she stepped out of the elevator first letting Rick's hold pull him along and glancing down the halls. When she was sure it was okay to proceed, she continued on, now leading Rick, down the hall.

When they reached the apartment she waited patiently on the 'Welcome' rug from their company and rung out her hair off to the side into the plant she hated by the door. It wasn't that she despised it, just that it was the most useful spot for water. She then proceeded to ring out her pants as much as she could on the mat as she waited for him to open up the door. It was a work intensive process of leaning over, wringing out a section, folding it up, wringing out another section, rolling it up, etc. and eventually she got up to her knee where she gave up and let the leg unroll working on the other leg. Suffice to say, there was a decent sized puddle under her by the time she was done and although she didn't seem to care, she did seem to notice as she stepped out of it so that she would remain mildly dry and not sopping wet, but damp and icky.

Twisted Fate 1

PostPosted: Sun Sep 21, 2008 3:56 pm

Inwardly, his emerald-green eyes rolled at her response to his simple observation. Guilt kept nagging at him from the back of his mind whenever he glanced at her in the state the girl was in. Left to his own thoughts, Rick glanced to the side as he held her wrist as though Red would bolt if he let her go: ginger, but firm. A quick jolt brought him back to the present, and noticed that the love was intently staring at her cell -- that piqued his curiosity, but knew better than to take a peek. It was odd though since she rarely used the device in the first place, but that didn't matter as the elevator's doors opened. Cautiously, as always, the body guard led them to their temporary home.

While she had her way to go about getting rid of the strange sensation of having a second layer of skin, Rick lacked modesty, and simply disrobed down to his dark cargo's. Wet clothes invited the cold -- the man thought it best to rid the most he could, now, and then dry off in the privacy of his room. His company lavishly spoiled their top model, him, with a three-room Sky-Loft flat.

Created, and designed by Tony Chi, and has been critics went as far as to call his designs "witty and sexy all at once", but one didn't have to know that much to be impressed. Although, he had been part of this extravagant life style for the past four years, and had grown accustomed to such things. The theme was the classical ebony and snow-white with an accent of a rich, proud gold along with a bold and powerful orange. A dark railing presented itself, to lead them down two steps that led to the den. Jet black, suede chair welcomed them along with an ensemble of creamy white sofas and a subtle coffee table. New York Times, Washington Post along with a few other papers delicately placed on the furniture. To the right in the same area was a modern table, thin, and revolutionary in design with two golden chairs on each side -- a single vase with sticks tied to a single, crisp bouquet of flowers.

One could tell the difference between the den, and dining room solely based on the floors -- the den a vinyl checkered floor while the dining was more of a opaque version of a light creamy sort of color. Above their heads was his room, the stairs leading up to it was to the right of the door they had just entered from. While hers, remained on the same floor -- behind the kitchen as a private refuge. Which left a single room unaccounted for, and left unused. Their butler spoke through the intercom,"May I be of any use?" At their disposal twenty-four hours a day.

"Not yet, but thank you for being attentive. Bryan, I'll call if the need arises." Congenial with the help, a smile appeared on his lips even though the man on the other side couldn't see it. "Take a seat on the sofa," Rick turned to the girl after having tossed the wet clothing into a basket in which the help regularly checked. "Wait for a bit," soon disappearing to his room.

Full-length, glass doors led to his room that hung over the first floor. Only two of its walls surrounding the master bed room were solid walls, the adjacent ones were glass to allow a pleasant overview of the penthouse. Linen bed with perfectly white comforters, lined with the extreme contrast of raven headboard. The model was quick to change to his flannel pants and a simple a-shirt, slide on sandals to walk around in, and found the first-aid kit he had been looking for.

Promptly, he returned to Red's side, and was surprised to see her actually sitting. Though, the man knew well enough to keep it to himself. "Thank you...," as he knelt with a fluid movement opening the white box with a crimson cross. With some experience in taking care of wounds due to Lex standing up for him, and he had to find someway to be useful. Cotton swabs were dabbed into alcohol, the cut on her lip was the only visible mark, but he was sure that they were thorough while beating her.

Gingerly he brushed back the scarlet hair that hid her face from him. Never in all the time they had known each other, had he seen her complete face for longer than a brief moment.

Rizal took a deep breath as she walked into the room. She went to the couch and grabbed an unimportant blanket laying it down on the couch before she sat. She may be ignorant to how to dress among other things but she did know about furniture getting wet. She pulled at her pants and made them lay against her legs and fold in front of them so they were off the couch as she sat with her legs spread and her elbows on her knees. Her hands natrually fell down between her legs as she watched Rick move. She watched the room he was in with a patient stare that would creep out a cat and let herself shiver as the cold air kicked on to cool off the room. She was in one of the drafted areas and although she was use to the gentle sound, she wasn't expecting to be as cold as she was.

After a few minutes of waiting she reached forward and grabbed a tissue. She tucked her chin down letting her hair fall over her shoulder and whipped off the useless make up that was just running all over the place. She cleaned herself off carefully avoiding the injured spots before he managed to come out. When the door open she crumpled the tissue in her hand and put her hands down on the couch sitting upright. She flicked her head getting her hair out of one of her eyes as she watched the object in his hand. She recognized the box but she didn't like where this was going. Her suspicion was only heightened as he sat down and opened it up.

Rizal sat tall and leaned away from him as his hand approached her. She watched his movements carefully and didn't even hear what he said. Jennifer wasn't really sure what he was doing but as she saw him perform the actions she had done so many times when she was little she accepted it and decided it would be okay as long as she kept a watch on it. She glanced around the room to check if they were alone before the wad touched her busted lip. She winced, it stung like no other. Somehow she managed to keep her face from contorting in pain as she watched what he did. When his hand was too close to her face she looked at his eyes wanting it to be over but never knowing when it would be. Unfortunately, she knew that there were some more scrapes and scratches just on her face alone.

I don't know what I'm going to do with you as he withheld a dry sigh; What are we going to do? Lips formed a straight line as Rick continued to tend to her wounds by taking the first step, and unveiling her face from the crimson curtain. His aquamarine eyes strayed from her stare, concentrating more so on the recently revealed scratches. Silently, the man began the process of sterilizing, and placing band-aids where necessary. I don't know why she hides such a beautiful, gentle face from the world. . .,"There you go." A amicable smile crept over his lips to hide the guilt -- his regret.

In a swift motion, he drew back before standing up. "Good night," as typical he was quick like a feline with its tail raised -- nearly flew out of the room with the case by his side. Although, the model stopped at the door; "I'm sorry, Jenny. . . and thank you." Without any word-edgewise on her part, he left. It was late, and his midnight-black hair was still soaking wet -- enough to moisten the a-shirt he sported -- at least the portion that the strands of hair made contact with it. After a few stairs, he made slid into his bathroom for the usual routine of hygiene, and to dry off his hair before going to bed.

Flick of a finger, his lights were off. Bare feet made contact with the cool marble, nimbly finding their way not to hit the edge of the mattress. Following, a smooth sound of his body sliding between the comforters. His thin frame made him feel diminutive in comparison to the King sized, and luxurious bed at that. "What a day," arms out stretched as jade eyes stared at the plain ceiling. It would've been pitch black hadn't the moon offered natural light, and perhaps some of the lights down below were on -- he couldn't tell.

His mind went through the routine of berating him through the torture of reviewing the day, and typical the parts he blotched up. An angry, bitter thing that threw every error he had made in his face as though he didn't already feel bad. This was the ideal time to call Lex, and tell her good night: however, it was probably much too late -- no need to wake her up for such a trivial thing. The model inwardly squirmed as it continued, wanting nothing more to cover his face and for it to stop. Now, a light and irregular sleep would take over.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 28, 2008 7:47 pm

Jennifer calmed down as he finished up what he was doing. She stopped pulling away from the motion and she hid her pain by keeping her face solid as she watched Rick's hand move back and forth. She didn't want to miss what he was doing any more then she wanted him doing it. He could be gentle but she would much rather do it herself. When he was finishing up with the band aids she thought it was pointless but she didn't protest. She would just take them off before tomorrow morning. She still had to clean up before she went to bed and that would mean getting the band aids soaked. They would undoubtedly decide that her skin was not the best place to be.

Rizal blinked as he spoke to her and her eyes focused on his face. When he darted away she felt mildly repulsive even though he moved quickly every night. It wasn't every night he moved quickly away from her. She eyed him as he stopped at the door all the same. She knew it was strange for him to stop and so when he spoke, she really wasn't expecting it. Rizal blinked and let a frown cross her face, she couldn't recall one time when he called her anything let alone Jenny. The girl tensed up not sure how to take this turn of events and dipped her chin watching him cautiously. She began to feel awkward as he thanked her and her nerves went haywire.

Once his door was shut she got up and searched the entire place for any type of drug or chemical that could be setting off his mood but all she found was a disorderly room. She cleaned what she messed up but didn't go too far in depth and then headed to her room. Once she was there she went about her nightly routine spending an extended amount of time in the shower just relaxing and letting the day's toils wash away. She took a few relaxing breaths and let herself calm down. When she finished she got out but didn't bother to dry off her hair, just her body and tugged on her clothes. She left her bathroom and fell down on her bed with one foot over the side laying on the floor. She rested the gun on her stomach with her hand on the handle and closed her eyes. She resumed her strict attitude and forced herself to sleep much like she had done sense her father signed her away.

Twisted Fate 1

PostPosted: Sun Sep 28, 2008 8:25 pm

His heart beat fast, and he jumped. Startled enough to sit up right as a hand shot out to still his heart before the ache of his body hit him at full force. What time is it?, and glanced at the time on his motorola to realize it was three in the bloody morning. "********," he grumbled under his breath as he let go, and fell back in bed. A burst of air rushed from his nostrils, a tell tale sign he was exasperated. While his heart had calmed down, the adrenaline kept pumping in veins. Enough to prompt him to get out of bed, and sluggishly the ebony-haired man brushed his teeth before making a half-hearted attempt to silently make it down stairs.

Type of person that had to be in a foul mood, curse, and explode in the morning before suddenly becoming his chipper self. Rick rarely took it on someone else, and much rather grumble vivid sentences with every other word being a cuss word. Jade eyes narrowed as they had to adjust to the lack of light, and then suddenly the harsh contrast of artificial light in the kitchen. "Goddamn light," he hissed almost as a whisper after glaring at the light fixtures -- which only aggravated his emerald green eyes.

"God," heavily he sighed as though finished with his morning routine to get ready for the morning routine. Head bumped against the fridge, and remained there momentarily with his hand grasping the handle. A effortless jerk to open it, and snatched a water bottle: Rick didn't believe in breakfast. "It's too early to do anything," he complained to himself before plomping himself onto the sofa. Eyes closed as the man took deep breaths to relax, head reclined back, single arm hanging over the edge, teeth tugged at the cap before taking a deep swig. Already, in the habit of waking up at these ungodly hours -- he knew there was nothing good on the television besides: porn, telemarketing, exercise programs, and more porn on the side.

None of the above were appealing to him. He placed the water on the coffee table, and surprise surprise -- he passed out on the sofa due to a horrible night's sleep: within minutes.
PostPosted: Sun Sep 28, 2008 9:10 pm

Rizal didn't wake up until about six o'clock nearly three hours after he had been roused by his restless sleep. She got up and, lugging her gun, wandered to her bathroom doing her morning routine. Her hand was most commonly on the big gun and although she was sleepy, she still kept mildly alert. She understood what was going on around her at least. In the end she wandered into the kitchen not noticing her charge on the sofa and pulled open the fridge. She looked in it for a bit before giving up and grabbing an apple off the counter. She finally put the gun away in it's holster as she leaned back against the counter and examined the room. She noticed Rick on the couch and frowned slightly but thought nothing more of it. She continued to much on her apple as she watched him just lay there sleeping. Rizal was dressed in a tight black shirt with baggy black pants and her vest of buttons and patches rather then her normal outfit. It wasn't a large change but yesterday she had been cold and today she really didn't want to freeze. She knew that winter was coming and she had a feeling that today was going to be a rude awakening to it's harsh weather.

Glancing at the clock behind her on the wall she tried to remember the appointment time and realized that they had about an hour before they had to be there. The appointment was for eight and she had spent a good majority of six getting ready. It was around seven now so if he woke up at seven thirty he could easily get ready and they could run over there. The building they were going to was close, but not close enough to keep them from a good work out. She pulled out her phone again and played with it until she managed to get the map up again. She examined it for a while just staring at the screen and wondering all the different routs she could take. Today she would run him past it and come back up to it going through the back. They would leave the same way they came so that if he chose to run from the front, he wouldn't recognize it. Also she could beat him home if he chose to run.

Jennifer took a deep breath as she thought about her father for the first time in a long time. The last time she had been to a shrink they had dug so deep into her childhood that her father was almost sentenced to death by her 'confession.' Luckily patient confidentiality was one of her rights with the shrink and so the tape couldn't be played in court. A shutter ran down her spine as she drew her arm around her stomach. She hadn't hidden any of her bruises today and her face was half hidden by her long thick red hair as she leaned against the counter. Her eyes were half shut as she stared at the floor and she continued to chew on her apple in her reserved little corner of the world.

"Don't. . .ank me. . . . I'm Batman. . . what I do," he spoke in his sleep with a goofy grin. Meanwhile, his breathing was even although the words became incoherent. Rick rolled slightly to his side, back against the creamy sofa with a single hand cradling his head while the other hung over the edge. Rick's fair complexion nearly blended in with the furniture's light tone. A single bang had slid due to gravity, and now swayed back in forth due to his breath.

Still in a dream-state, his body from one moment to another rushed over the edge, and promptly fell to the ground. Although, it felt to him to take hours to reach the ground when in truth it probably didn't take more than a blink of the eye. "Aaahh!" Hands grasped the ground, took awhile for the man to orient himself again. "What?" Pads of his fingers rubbed his eyes before scratching the back of his skull. For some reason, Rick naturally sat up only to cringe as he turned to glance back: sixth sense told him Red was somewhere here, and her eyes were on him. Tinge of pink stained his cheeks as he grinned with a boyish charm, laughing at his own embarrassment.

"Yo."
PostPosted: Mon Sep 29, 2008 4:37 am

Rizal blinked as he said his greetings and she nodded loosely at him. She hadn't bothered to cover up any of her cuts or bruises and although she didn't peal the band aids off, several had come off as predicted in her shower. She finished off her apple watching him carefully and considered what to do. They needed to get going once he was ready but she didn't want to rush him through anything. She knew that if she seemed like she needed to get somewhere then he would just fight it the entire way. If she didn't let it on then he might actually come willingly. "So how long until you're ready for your jog?" she questioned. She didn't try to press the question or even greet him aside from the question. It was actually somewhat rare for her to greet him at all but she knew she needed to get something going or they would never leave. It was either now or never that she spoke and if it was never then things would be bad. She needed to get him talking so that she knew an approximation and whether or not she actually needed to hurry him along or not. She had put away her phone by now and she stopped thinking about her father. She needed to work.

Jennifer felt her stomach twist at the thought of the night prior just from being with the boy and she really wanted to ask why he had called her Jenny. It seemed strange that he would do that considering no one else did but he was a strange boy. He always seemed to be doing things that she didn't expect and although she didn't despise it all the time, she didn't like it most of the time. She tugged at the sleeves of her shirt as she shut the trash can from throwing away her apple and returned her attention to her victim. She waited patiently for his answer anticipating that it would take him about ten minutes or so to get freshened up and ready for a good run. If that was the case then they could be there at eight and walk in when they were suppose to be in the office. Doctors always took so long that she expected them to have time to just sit and relax before they were actually called in. If they didn't, then that was okay too. He might realize that they were going to a psychology building if they sat there for too long and then he could try to bolt. Jennifer considered this with a smooth smile crossing her face. That would be lovely. She would just love to gather him back up after he tried to run.

Only came natural for him to c**k his head slightly to the side, curious as to what she was thinking -- why Red kept looking at him. Rather than remain sitting on the ground, Rick collected himself, and stood up with look asking her if she was serious. I'm sure that wasn't what she was thinking about, though he wouldn't bother to figure out what it was. Eyes closed momentarily as he cracked his neck, left and then right -- a habit of his,"Won't take long, if that's what you're wonderin'." Satisfied with the audible snap of his tense muscles, well the little he had in the first place. Rick was more built for speed rather than strength.

Typical model when it came to the crucial measurements, 32 inch waist, and thigh measurements that made it to the new standard. He could when he first started it didn't matter much, but thin was in. Thanks to Europe and Japan's influence which completely revolutionized the American's fascination with buff to thin and scrawny. At least it suited him.

An easy smile came over his lips, ran his fingers in his hair as an attempt to push back a stubborn, dark bang from his face. Inwardly blinking madly, she smiled only a moment later which had to be a pure coincidence, or the girl had something planned for him. Either way, he didn't like it when Red was grinning since the trend was that her happiness was his pain. I should. . . get ready, eager to get out of sight -- give himself some time to build up some paranoia.

Preparing for the jog took fifteen minutes: showering, blow-drying his chemically straightened hair, changing into somewhat loose sweatpants along with a simple plain t-shirt, and his running shoes. The ensemble was the never old black with white combination. Now, that he had finished off the dressing part of the regiment -- Rick came down to Red's floor. Arm outstretched as he began the warm of stretching for the cardio work out: increased blood circulation, made him more limber to prevent injury, and would make him feel less sore if he was too push himself to the limit.

"Where to today?"

Rizal smiled brightly and stood up from what she had been doing. She dropped the smile after she remembered where they were going. That wasn't really what was important. What was important was getting there. She considered what to tell him and how to encrypt it into her message but all she could come up with was partly the truth. "We're just going around." They were going around, but not around what he would expect meaning around the town in general, but around the building going in the back way so that he couldn't recognize it from that. Unless he had already scoped this place out and knew how it looked he shouldn't be able to recognize it well. Unfortunately, depending on how good his sense of direction is, he could re-identify it in the end when they went tomorrow. The goal was to get him there consecutively on time. She could force him there, beat him there, drag him there, scare him there, and blindfold him leading him there but the point was, she had to get him there. She headed towards the main door of the building knowing that if they left now they could have a good run before they left. Tomorrow she would approach it from the west side and the next day the east. Lastly she would approach it from the side they were on, the south side. Hopefully, then, if she didn't retrace any streets on the map they could approach again from the north and so forth.

Jennifer flicked her hair out from her face and suddenly realized she had better put it up. If it was up it wouldn't get her as sweaty. Taking a hair tie from her moderately tighter pants, with a belt, she ran her hand back through the thick cords that hung from her head called hair. They pulled and tugged fighting with her and her hand could only make it through part. Consulting to their wishes she did the classic girl maneuver of flipping all of her hair down and leaning over. She gathered it and gathering it at the top of her head. The flip looked like a red streak of pure thick fabric rather then hair and as she bundled it up, it puffed around the edge of her hand and seemed to almost fight every motion. It was more cooperative with the gravity implied force but it still didn't like her well. She managed to get the hair tie around it with only twisting it twice and stood up fixing it by giving soft tugs on opposite sides on the base of the pony tail and it settled enough to make her look decent.

Unemotionally she turned and gestured for Rick to come, he obviously was ready and sense they were both good to go, there was no point in waiting. It didn't take long for them to be down the apartments and out onto the street. When they reached the street she decided it would be the best time to make ground rules. "Rick, you stay in front of me or beside me so we don't get separated. Don't go behind me." It was a basic guard rule so that they could flank whomever it was they were with. It gave them a clear view of what was ahead and the ability to go in front while keeping an eye on their charge. As it was, the street was pretty empty and no one was out and about. Jennifer Rizal would prefer to keep it that way but she doubted that it would happen. The girl gestured towards the left hoping that he would follow her instruction. She would just run beside him when she wanted to change directions. It would be easiest.

"Yah, yah."Words were held on longer, distracted, and not really listening as he snapped his neck before taking in the outside world. Sun was bright, and in his eyes 'causing the pair of emeralds to narrow slightly due to the glare. Air was brisk, cold, and held a percentage of pollution that he had grown use to -- to the point he didn't notice it. I miss the greens, fall was closer with each morning's temperature becoming colder as color began to fade. There would be nothing left, but the dead colors of city's buildings.

His head was void of thoughts as his body naturally inclined forward with the first lunge forward, "I'm fully aware of the fact you're young, but it is crucial to your health to have ten minutes of cardio -- minimum each day. That's not including Vitamin D, calcium. . . ." after that point the man blocked out the Doc. Rick lived for today rather than tomorrow.

Gently thuds of their feet, arms following in pursuit to keep up with his pace, and chest rose and fell in a steady rhythm. Determined to push himself farther, muscles in his legs constricted for milli-seconds before flight took over -- a naturally instinct. The girl could easily keep up with him, Red was in more shape than he was after all. Lips formed a lopsided grin, an expected lightness engulfed him as he followed her. Last week Rick discovered Runner's High, and was hell-bent on attaining it each morning since it reminded him of the nicotine rush.

What the-?, his body lagged. Heart pumped faster, lungs were on fire, and he lost his even breathing to panting slightly. Muscles were heavy as though with lead, and each step cost more energy to remain at the same pace. His mouth seemed dry -- dehydrated, but had excess saliva instead. The ebony-haired model was only able to keep it up for two minutes before it was near impossible to keep up the same efforts.
"********," he hissed under his breath in agitation: he had been doing great. While the lag wasn't incredible hinderance, after all his speed had only been lessened by a smidgen -- a minor adjustment.
