After hearing shika's mistrust in her, Mizuki really wanted to punch him in the face. She was a naturally violent person, for his sake he was lucky she could control her violence...sometimes. She didn't want to be stupidly threatened by him again, she stared at him for a moment, making a quick hand sign behind her back, making a genjutsu appear for the guard. Once he was under the genjutsu he fell to the floor. She knew doing that was stupid but she didn't want this resistance leader to think her village and her were just a bunch of weaklings that could be taken by simple guards.

Shikamaru uswed his Jutsu sending Shadows out to both of the strange people in his house," I do not wish to fight you but I also need to know you can be trusted. I am in charge of the safety of thesed people and it would not befit a leader to foolishly accept every offer of help that came our way without first verifying it."

Mizuki let herself be controlled by the shadow, she didn't want to fight him anyway, though she wasn't happy that he felt he had to use his jutsu on her. "What can I do to prove myself?", She said with a sigh. She was already annoyed, but this just made things worse, she wasn't even sure she wanted the resistences help anymore.

Shikamaru looked at Mizuki," What can we do for you that your village couldn't do for itself? If I remember correctly your village is still quite large, We are but a small rag-tag band of mismatched Shinobi what makes us look appealing to you?"

Shikamaru looked down for a moment as he thought, he released his Jutsu," I see your point but I still am unsure so even though I am deciding to accept your offer it will be on my terms," Shikamaru looked at Mizuki warily.

"The terms are that you will be escorted at all times while in my 'village' if you will, and you will always be led in and out in the same fashion as you were today as to keep you from actually knowing our location, other than that you may do as you wish, just try and stay out of trouble." Shikamaru looked at her hoping for a reply.
