Hmm, it's thinking a while back but I'd have to say that my first King book was Eyes of the Dragon at age twelve, but it could have easily been an earlier time that I can't remember, because my parents have had coppies of his books, namely the Datk Tower laying around since before I was born. Unfortunatly, I have never met him, but if there's ever a signing announced for Vancouver, I'm camping out in that bookstore for about a week before he gets there to make sure that I'm the first one in line.

-At what age did you start having an interest in Stephen King? I'm not sure the exact age but it was probably before I'd hit double digits lol. I remember seeing IT when I was probably only 8 or so. And we use to watch Misery every so often when I was an early teen.
-What was your first Stephen King book? Carrie - after watching Misery so often, and knowing my cousin read his books, I asked my mom when I was about 12 if I could start reading Stephen King. She picked me up the book Carrie because she remembered seeing it in the drive-in when she was young. That got me completely hooked!
-Have you ever met him? Nope, and I'm pretty sure I probably never will lol.

I started showing an interest in King's work about the age of twelve. My first book of his was the Eye of the Dragon and it left me twitching. I personally have never met him, though my mom sold him some sweaters once and she knows a niece of his. Apparently, the niece calls him, "Uncle Stevey"

-At what age did you start having an interest in Stephen King?I believe it was freshman year or 8th grade, soa round 14. -What was your first Stephen King book? Either Carrie or Black House. Can't remember for sure but I think it was Carrie. -Have you ever met him? No
Hello, I'm The Lunatic. I'm 17 years old, I work in a library, and I love Stephen King. I've read 43 of his books so far. I have a list in my journal here if anyone cares to look. Right now I'm reading Four Past Midnight (just finished The Langoliers).

And you might add anything else you are willing to share I was 10 years old when I first picked up a Stephen King Book and that book was Carrie. Followed by Firestarter and The Shining then 1 book pretty much every year since then. Never had a chance to meet him. I went to a book signing once but he had to cancel for some reason that I can not remember right now. I love reading Stephen King books and there are only a couple that I have not read to date. I watch all movies based on his books when I can but they are sometime disappointing because Hollywood changes details to make it better for TV. Oh and by the way that first book I read was back in 1978. Holly Crap I am old. LOL

-At what age did you start having an interest in Stephen King? I was about 8 when I first saw Langoliers and that kinda got me started on horror movies and books. My mother bought me a book with short stories from King and I loved it.
-What was your first Stephen King book? I think it was Salem's Lot, but I'm not sure.
-Have you ever met him? No but I'd love to. Though I'd be too nervous to say anything rofl
