If im right, then I think that the one with Dorothy's cameo was the "Movie Version". I think that there was also some other extra scenes in addition to that one.
Yes, and the ending was different. I liked it MUCH better.

The individual character endings are changed slightly in the movie version is all.

Duo: Went from him in a junk yard to him buying parts (from a guy who looks sorta like Sernan from G-Unit), then eating lunch with Hilde and choking on his food.
Trowa: Went from him showing up at the circus to him and Cathy performing.
Quatre: Went from him and the Maganacs on a spaceship to him and the Maganacs helping rebuild X18999 (very cute scene).
Wu Fei: Went from him and Sally on a ship to them on Earth blowing something (I assume an old base) up and driving off.
Zechs: Didn't get an ending in the OVA; in the movie, we see him and Noin heading to Mars...and playing chess.
Heero: Went from him watching Relena give a speech to an ending that more strongly implies their connection. She's at some event at the Presidential Mansion and looks up at the sky; cut to a random Japanese city, where we see Heero look to the sky as well, then turn away, smile, and walk off.

I have it set up so that I watch at least one episode a day all trough the month of Decemper culminating on watching both the last episode of the anime and the movie version of Endless Waltz on Christmas Eve. whee I've done this every year since I got both my boxed set of the anime DVDs and my Endless Waltz DVD. I also watch it pretty much every time I go on a Gundam kick, which is about once every three months. It never gets old, and I still have too keep notes to keep track of who's alive, who isn't, who's important, who's a bit part, and, of course, the shifting political/military alliances. God, I love that series.....

If I remember correctly, Heero is in Tokyo. When the camera pans up you get to see the street and I believe that is the most well known intersection in Ginza.

Whew! It's been a while, eh?

In relation to the question: YES, YES, and OH MY LORD, YES. I know a majority of people watch an anime and move on to bigger, 'better', and more graphic and technologically advanced anime, but there is something classic about GW that always has me crawling back.

I have started supporting my gundam wing fix with AMV's, fanfiction, and fanart. It subdues my needs. xp

did anybody read my post?

I am sure people did read your post. It's just that asking for a site with downloads to a licensed anime is a bannable offence on gaia. I wouldn't offer to give out the link if I were you, as that is also a bannable offence. Be lucky you have it and bask in its glory.

Sadly, I have been neglecting pulling out my Gundam Wing DVDs as I have been focusing on another Gundam series that I recently got, Zeta Gundam. It's not too bad really, although the dubbing is kind of poor and the animation is taking me a while to get used to... I've also been catching what little I can of Gundam X, and getting steadily hooked on it. Garod reminds me so much of Duo it's not even funny sweatdrop . Although one of these days I really need to smack myself into gear and pop in Gundam Wing again, I am kind of missing it.

I haven't watched it in a while, but I was at About Gundam Wing .com the other day looking at screencaps, and it really made me want to pull out EW.

I might subject my boyfriend to it when I get home from work/school tonight. heart whee
