Do you have a religon?

Ima Christian! I believe in God. I believe he sent Jesus down on this Earth to die for us on the cross. I believe that Jesus took away all our sins and is living in all of us today. I believe that we are only visitors here on Earth and when we die we will go someplace better, our home, Heaven.

Lately its been hard though. I've been gettin into bad habits and haven't been reading the Bible as much as I should be. But I'm going to Peru on a missions trip this summer!! can't wait!

But anyway back to the topic I belive in A GOD, and that there is heaven and hell and as long as your basicaly a good person you can get into heaven and if your an a*****e you go to hell.

actually that's untrue. Good deads alone won't get you into heaven. You need to have a personal relationship with Christ. You have to invite him into your heart, trust in him everyday, and do his work. Even people who don't lead good lives still have a chance to repent...Jesus died for us...God forgives all sins.

Sorry about this, but there is something that bugs me about most Christians that they can't get through their skulls. When somebody else has different beliefs that directly contradict yours, you don't tell them their religious beliefs are wrong. Just because you were brought up that way it doesn't give you any more evidence to support your theory unless you present that evidence. She just might be right, you can never tell.

I'm southern Baptist. (I know nothing about Episcopalian Christians so I don't talk about them or criticize them) I believe that God sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins and that as long as you believe that and ask Christ into your life and heart, then you will go to heaven. I also believe everything in the Bible, I may believe some parts of it differently than other people but I believe all of it.

Well, I'm just a Christian. I've not been baptised yet, sweatdrop but I do attend a baptist church. At least, when I don't go to the other church in town, which is actually a Christian school/church. But I do believe in God, and Jesus, and everything they teach in church.

I mean, the Bible says nothing about giant dinosaurs, so where's all those fossils come form? Did God put them here just to confuse us and test our faith? *sigh* so confusing.

Actually, the bible does mention them, but it is very vague. A Hebrew to English translation is kind of a bad one. For instance, the word used in the Hebrew bible that in the English bible says 'day'. In the Hebrew bible it means 'any period of time' so the world wasn't made in seven days, it was made in seven periods of time. For all we know were still in the middle of one of those days. But the Hebrew (and certain English translations) mention giant lizard-like creatures.

I don't believe a lot of the bible, merely because it's not possible. I believe a lot of the bible has either been corrupted or is a guide for how we should live our lives. And my other point is, why should we have to know how God made the earth to get into heaven? Shouldn't we just need to believe and worship him? I mean I believe the entirety of the new testament, but only about half of the old.
