"Give me some money up front, and a number to reach ye and I can leave now."

"Shopping."

"Sparrow was pretty upset."

"How much money?"
--
"For what?"
--
"I said sorry. I didn't mean to do that."
--
He thinks he probably should have asked. Oh well! At least the weather is nice. He stops by a little curio shop to pick up souvenirs before getting down to business. Byron won't mind. Probably.

"Fine. I'll get the money." She turns to go!
--
"What things?"
--
"I like Myles."
--
He stares a while at a few little glass ornaments, debating. Do the girls deserve gifts? They called him silly and he sort of took that personally, but they're girls. Girls are always saying stupid things. He huffs and eventually picks out little necklaces. He stuffs them into a pocket and heads back out into the street, feeling cranky.

Angie hops back into room full of witches and goats. Sigh!
--
"Ah. Should have done that before it got here."
--
"I don't care."
--
That done, he keeps his eyes open for some random person who doesn't look too busy or cranky. He needs some directions!

"I was ill."

"Tell you what, if you can get Russ to rehire him, I'll pay."
---
There are plenty of random people! most wondering why a kid is wandering around alone.

She soon returns to Trin's room and knocks again.
--
"Mm."
--
".. Really?" She smiles.
--
He tries to look like he knows what he's doing and crosses a street near a coffee shop. He doubts this is the right side of town and scratches his noggin. He waves at a passerby. "Excuse me?"

She opens the door, this time holding a leather bag. She grins and slips outside. "Have me money?"
---
"Any other criticisms?"
---
"Yes."
---
The passerby blinks and looks down at the strange looking boy. "Yes?"

"Yes." She passes Trin an envelope and eyes te bag. "What's in there?"
--
"Mm? .. No. This your first?"
--
"Thanks, Matthew. I'll do better this time, I promise."
--
He smiles in a way that he hopes is pleasant. "I'm looking for a furniture store. Can you point me in the right direction?"

"Just some of me things!" She nods back at the room. "Ye'll watch that fool for me, aye?"
---
"Yes."
---
He nods. "Not a problem, as long as Russ is okay with it. I don't want to hear him whining about it."
---
"Are you lost? Where are your parents?" They peer around, looking for some parents to this weird kiddo.

He nods and looks at the kid again.

"Right!" ... Hug!

"Er.. They aren't here. I'm shopping." He frowns.

"For furniture?" They frown back.

"He'll be no problem. There be a case of needles in the desk drawer. Just stick one in him each morning and ye won't have to worry."
---
"He does, doesn't he?"
---
"It's all right. Russ probably had it coming."
---
"Why can't your parents take care of that?"
