"Good, because then I can explain this all maybe in a way that's easier for you to understand." And not have to be under perhaps scrutinizing eyes. Then again she had the feeling that Zahara didn't even grasp half the things Piper was even saying. That was kind of frustrating. A look over to Malik and the imps. "Remember Malik A'mael, patience." That said she got up and left the room, motioning for Zahara to follow.

She looked as if she was about to say something angry, but she paused, shocked. "I....really?" She didn't look as if she beleived him. "You'll help me, a stranger, who's story is full holes, to a place with a reputation for being less than friendly?"

Malik rubbed his temples lightly.
"do you know what Dimitiri really is? he's a demigod. he can make it so you can't make any portals."
or well..hey this might work.
"Not to mention you've never get the chance. the oracle said if me and piper die, then this whole plane instantly is destroyed. he doesn't know that, but if it happens, that mean you won't rxist anymore either. no more fun for you."

Cedric turned his eyes towards her with a rather intent look, "Please, do not try to change my mind. At the vary least, I will never know if what you say is true or not until I reach that school."
"Besides, in this world of infinate possibilities, what should tell me that yours is not real?"

The respons was collective.
"Gee, I wonder what it would be like to be blasted into oblivion..."
She turned her head fomr those eyes, looking sheepish. "I'm sorry." She kept walked though towards the peninsula, they would ened supplies for the trip after all. Although, if Cedric had more of that rbead, she supposed they wouldn't need a lot of food. "I don't know how I am going to repay you for this." Still not looking at him.

Cedric chuckled, "Adventure is payment enough." He walked beside her, "There are few ships capable of travelling farther than deep water on the Peninsula. We should go to Deep Water, where I know of a Captain who would be happy to take to were we need to go."

She smiled a little bit. "Well then, perhaps I'll owe you a favor then." Her smile was pretty, some would say infectious. Well, she wasn't an ugly woman, that's for certain.
"A Captain?" She patted a pocket, which smeed to junlge with loose coinse. "All i ahev is a fe gold peices."

"He owes me more than his life, so don't worry about the passage fare." Cedric pointed towards the north west. "We can get on a ferry in the hamlet over there, and then reach Deep Water by this evening, if we walk steadily."

"Oh. Alright then." She looked a little taken a back by all this, and she should be. Finding soemone to help her, plus a quicker way to get to the school? What luck she would meet someone with conncetions.
"Cedric? Thanks."

"You are welcome, Riana." Cedric replied. "Now then, have you travelled far in this realm..." Cedric asked Riana about her life in this area, and a few other personal yet not invading questions about her life while they walked towards the skift that would take them to their awaiting ship.

Malik had a slight urge to just draw Malvolence and make an arc through that pile of imps. but he was calm at least in appearance. how to keep these little annoyances occupied. hmm.
"Have any of you ever heard of a diety named Fizzlethorpe Bristlebane?"

Zahara didn't really want to leave Malik's apparent frustration, it was just fun to watch. And those imps knew the exact buttons to push which was even more fun. She could watch and laugh silently and not get into any trouble because she wasn't doing anything wrong. It wasn't like she was egging the imps on, right? But she followed Piper into one of the random side rooms, she really needed to learn her way around this place and stopped, "So...girl talk..."

Another reason for leaving Malik alone? To see exactly how much he could restrain himself as well when Piper wasn't around to give him a chastising look and word. But her attention was for Zahara right now and trying to get this simple concept through her head. "Call it what you will, point is it's private and makes things a bit easier...human term." She crossed her arms lightly. "Okay...this shouldn't be hard even for a drow really. Why does this have you so..." Piper didn't know what word she wanted so she let it trail off.

She raised an eyebrow and watched Piper for a moment then shrugged. "Why does this have me so what? And what are we talking about exactly? If you're referring to my treatment of Malik and consequently his of me, well that should be fairly obvious. I'm finding it very hard to give control over to an egotistical overbearing jackass who doesn't treat me with any more respect than I treat him and is determined to piss me off every tiem we're in the same room."

Piper just blinked. "Oh...well that was a colorful description of him." She shook her head. "But I'm talking about how you can't seem to want to understand the fact that I want to be with him. Which baffles me because you seem to have a certain respect for me and looking at it in a drow way...I shouldn't be getting any from you seeing as how I let Malik control a lot and such. Yes he can be an egotistical overbearing jackass, but not all the time." Another blink at her, "And what the hell do you think is my problem anyway?"
