Too far gone to hear the words, too far gone to really care. Just too ******** far gone that he was lost. Cursing himself for his foolishness in randomly treking into the wilderness he looked up only to see the branches of trees, not even a setting sun to help him.
Sighing he sat up against a tree and reflected upon the events of the past week. Or maybe he should call it a short trip to hell, that might be more likely; though with the way things usually worked things were only going down hill.

It had been several hours now since Jacob had left the tree house to explore the Wilderness in search of his sister. He had grown worried when he had awoke to find himself completely alone. Though he was only eight he still worried much like an older brother would instead of one that was younger. He was traveling along one of the many trails that rested within the Wilderness. The trail he was currently on would take him to an area that was located very deep within the wilderness. The very place in which Reaper went to meditate in order to get away from everyone. Only he and Darksun knew of this place because of it being so secluded. Jacob dearly hoped that his sister would be there so he could stop worrying. It was never good to worry not ever.
Stuffing his hand hastly deep into his pants pocket the boy quickly thought of anything that would get his mind off it. When the subject came it caused Jacob to come to a sudden halt in the middle of the trail. Quite shock he was actually taken back as his mind coped around the subject that came popping into his mind. Actually..it was more of a memory then anything else. The memory was of him back in the doctors house sitting on the floor with little Illiana Kimache in his lap showing her the many wonders of magic. Showing the beauty that resided in such sorcery that not all magic was that of destruction and horror. With the right stroke and potentialy something so dangerous could become an art piece of beauty. Without realizing it the boy found himself smiling softly at the memory of making the crying girl able to smile and laugh. Teaching her the word magic and even held onto her when she had fallen asleep against him.
It truth of it all...he had enjoyed the experience of the entire episode greatly. But...since then he hadn't been able to see Illiana. They did weigh him down a bit in spirit. He had hoped to see her at least one more time to see if she even remembered him. At the moment she was the only other person that Jacob felt so comfortable around and could be himself. He wouldn't mind playing with her and showing her a few more magic tricks like last time. Perhaps whenever he finds Reaper he could ask her to take him to Illiana so they could play. From what he could see of this clan there wasn't other kids around for Illiana to play with. And he was sure she wouldn't mind having someone to play with.

Reaper slowly started to shut out the various voices that proceeded into her head. Till they started to soften then slowly vanish as she completely blocked them out. The only voice she left remaining in her head was the Mother her voice was always soothing no matter what the suitation was. Hearing Ultima she slowly closed her eyes sensing the others as well. But in truth she wasn't concern at all with them. She had left Jacob alone for god knows how many hours with injuries. It was time she went and took care of him rather then caring for other adults in the area. She turned to Ultima.
"Then you go to them." her voice was monotone as she spoke. Then she would turn with no other words beginning to walk off towards the direction that her tree house should lie. Turning a bit to the right as the Mother started to guide her towards the direction in which Jacob lied.

Ultima nodded and watched Reaper go off, glad that the air of awkwardness had left with her. He turned in a different direction, sure as hell not sure what one it actually was, till he found his old wheelchair. "Well my steel chariot, looks like I've no more need of you... still you do look so barren here all alone.... Ahh, what the hell! Come to Papa"
Yes it was a strange act of separation anxiety so Ultima grabbed his chair and wheeled it out of there. Wheelchair in front of him he moved into the real wilderness, feeling infinitely better without the unsettling 'temple' around.

The nightly air was filled with the musical course of nature the willow trees were singing silently to the world. Flowers closing in their petals to sleep in for the night while the rest slowly spread open blooming vibrantly. The pair of boots lightly crunched upon the ever growing grass with faint sounds of snapping twigs. If it wasn't for the red cloak that wrestled on behind the curvious figure Reaper could've gone completely unseen through the darkness of the forest. Her fingers busy pulling back her long thick hair braiding it before binding it tightly with a baby blue ribbon. There didn't seem to be much activity at all in the wilderness that night. From the faint whispers Reaper received from the Mother it truely was a silent night. Which had to be the first for a long while for Her. Reaper came out to a small clearing a place in which two paths came together. Telling her exactly where she was which wasn't far from where she currently lived. Just another half hour to go and she should be back at home.

Whistling quietly to himself, he took a moment to gaze up at the moon in all its fullness, letting it fill his cattish eyes. The soft, silver velvet light cast by the moon was an excellent alternative to those harsh streetlamps. Priest snorted to himself, sweeping his bangs from his face. Despite the fog, tonight was a good night. He was full of blood, having gorged himself for the better half of the night. He hadn't eaten in several days, so who could blame him?

Reaper was taking a few minutes of rest as she stood there in the middle of the fork in the road. Sliding on her pair of stitched up gloves when a few more whispers came to her ears. Causing her to lift her head and begin to look closer at her surroundings. The Elders were speaking of something but so many were speaking at once it was making it near impossible to pin point exactly what they were saying. Then they all hushed in a matter of seconds as Reaper caught sound of a...whistle? More like someone whistling a rather annoying and boring tune at that. The thick fog was making it difficult for her to define anything though it was defiently coming closer. Her hands came up before her circling around as if creating an invisible sphere. A sphere that started to gather in all the light in which the Grandmother Moon was shining down upon her. It gathered it all in trapping it inside and much like a flash light it flashed brightly extended several yards around Reaper allowing her to see quite far as her sea deep eyes peered around herself.

He came to an intersection of sorts, and paused to ponder a moment on which direction he should now take. To his left were the docks, while to the right was his dwelling, tucked back into the trees. He shrugged slightly and chose the left.
"I have a little time to kill," he mumbled to himself. "Maybe I'll find a trinket at the docks." Once again sweeping back his bangs, he set off that way, walking quickly. Daylight was hours off, but he was easily distracted and had several times been in danger of burning when the sun came up.

After several minutes Reaper closed in her hands a snapping sound occuring as the ball of light shattered out of existence. The whistling had ceased coming to her ears. There was someone on the roads though one of the main reasons why Reaper always took the unfamiliar paths. Her eyes wondered over to a pair of tall trees causing her to grin. Unclipping the red cloak she tossed it off to the side of the road not wanting it to get snagged on a branch as she climbed up through the thick branches. Perhaps she could get a better insight of whom was on the road if she catches them from above.

Continuing his stroll toward the docks, Priest's eye was caught by a shadowed figure. Interest piqued, he turned that way, but not straining his eyes to further see the stranger. He could easily make out longish black hair and a feminine shape, belied by the muscle tone of her arms. He looked down at his own feet, and grinned to himself. "She shan't be up there long," he thought.
"Child...what are you doing?"

Reaper paused in climbing up another branch hearing that single word that always nagged at her, child. Why did everyone always referred to her as that? Was it because of her appearance or simple because she always found climbing trees and living in a tree house? Clicking her tongue between her teeth she turned placing each feet upon a single branch with the ankles crossed. Her back leaning gently against the gnarly trunk. Glancing down before till she found the figure beneath her. Obviously a man the voice alone was enough to give that away. Pushing off the trunk she starts to walk smoothly along the branch before simply stepping off it. Landing back to the ground in a crouch though she didn't rise up immeidately to her feet as some loose strands of her hair cascaded over her cheeks.
"If I'm the child...then that must mean your the grandfather." She countered slowly rising to her full hieght of five foot five inches. Her head lightly tilting the right. "Thought I would go out on a limb."

Not only did his profession give him limited reign of the word- but he liked that it implied he was older. He most likely was.
Sighing softly, he stopped where he was. He crossed his thin arms over his chest, leaning on his left foot. "I'd rather be no one's grandfather, so I hope you don't take offense if I assure you I'm not."
Admiring the landing, he leaned back on a post and waited for her next move.

Reaper smirked pushing back the loose strands of hairs only to have them stubbornly tumble their way back. Her appearance alone gave off that of someone between the ages of fifteen and nineteen. But the flow of air around her-her aura told a completely different story. It was rather amusing to her as her eyes narrowed softly. Catching just the barely visible rays of aura's surrounding the man. He was certiantly older then his appearance gave just like her. For a moment all she did was watch him similiar to what he was doing with her. This person was defiently someone new she didn't recognize from anyone she had seen on these grounds. Then she abrubtly turned her attention else where and started walking without stating another word. Making her way back to the crimson cloak. Taking it in hand she clipped it on slowly.
"Your right the children would mostly like ware your arse down anyway." Reaper stated at last clipping on the last piece.

"Now," he said slowly, acknowledging what she had said but still not replying to it "I would like to know the services the town offers. This is my first night here." and he would need somewhere for the day.

Didn't this sound familiar she always seemed to be guiding peolpe around when she runs into someone. She sighs softly glancing back at him before lightly pointing off towards the direction he was heading. The way she stood and outstretched her arm indicted she had done this a dozen times and more.
"Down there is the port there is a bar there and several boats but there isn't any hotels or Inns if that is what your looking for." Then she drops her arm and glanced down the other path. "If you keep travel this way you would meet nothing but wilderness unless you take a right downt he course of it. You'll come upon a Inn but it is currently no longer standing. More to the south there is a Mens dorm that you may stay at. There aren't many there since many of us have our own places that we live. There is nothing else currently here at the moment."
After giving general direction she would glance back at him.
