I think its because the people that are on a lot and would like to rp- are stuck in a role play with a person whom isn't online. One way around this would be the second characters. Maybe there's another way around, heh, like some crazy cloning machine-type thingie....
*cackles evily* But that would be.... some-what... inappropriate....
The reason for no one role-playing might also be that people are in school and school's tend to have final exams....

i suppose, so long as when you're reading some really great manga or story or something and all of a sudden you're sucked into the plot and have to battle some crazy things or whatever! that'd be kinda cool i think...

That would be, unless you couldn't get out and were trapped in a closet with a crazy chemistry geek and his ultimate 'Chem-Nerd 101' comic collection for, like, four hours. But it would still be cool.

trapped no good. but maybe the chem geek could mix up some concoction that when u drink even a sip u pop into another dimension or get sent back to ur own reality!

I agree. Being sent back to another reality would be awesome. I mean, how do we even know that they're aren't any gates to other dimensions waiting to be rediscovered through the use of spirit or physic energies? That would be awesome though, to have a chem geek able to cross realities using liquid. And the science behind it is interesting. But would the effect be perment and how would it work? Would it be just to get you there? Or would you be able to come back anytime?

If it was a permanent thing, it could have side effects. Like after too many travels, you start to lose part of you, like being erased from a page, or if you're not careful, your DNA might not reform properly and poof! you're gone. But that would be the coolest thing ever, minus any side effects. It'd be like escaping reality into a really awesome video game, that's actually not a video game.

But if it were reality and you were actually in another dimension where anything was possible, then it would be extremely dangerous. So maybe slight genetic changes could be helpful- say if one turned one of your arms to have the skin consistency and strength of a diamond. You'd never get hurt, but yeah you could still go poof. Could you imagine role-playing that? It would be awesome.

Hmmm.... You know. If we got someone in the labs and had two players collaborate then it could be done, the mixture could send them to another dimension, or one of the player threads here in the guild. Just another thing to ask about. Would being forcibly ripped apart and reconfigured in another dimension hurt? And how long would it feel like for the mind? *devious smile* .... Want some juice? Also, do you think we might perhaps hold tests this march? You know, since no one's posting it'll get the activity level up.
