And oh the plotting I've been doing with Sil's history today at work.; I'm excited about it. >w> ~ DID YOU GUYS KNOW THAT SIL USED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL TREASURE HUNTER? Probably not because I don't think I've ever mentioned it before.

Someone mentioned about the crew subtitles in GCD and I went to check mine. Meh, "crew". I sorta wish I could choose from a list of names for it, like "guild moderator" you know? xD
And no, I didn't know Sil's a professional treasure hunter. I guess that helps add onto the special stuff she has in her tent. >w>;

Yeah, all of the fancy shmancy stuff in her tent are all things she looted from ruins and stuff like that.
Its also how she knew just exactly how to get to the Heart of Izunala. Because no doubt that thing was -really- hard to find.
I'm actually writing a little mini-thing (well..kinda. Its already a few pages long) about one of her expeditions. I even got to develop two character's out of it!

It's kind of hard to imagine Sil being a treasure hunter though. Like, what makes her interested in looking for treasures in the first place, you know? Then again, that's what the mini-story is for. xD
When you say two characters, you mean Izunala and Sil, right?

Sil was a lot different back then, to be honest. XD And she got into treasure hunting because it gave her just the opportunity she needed to explore the world like she always wanted. After a few jobs, she discovered that she loved it. She also has a VAST LOVE for airships. She still does, and still wants to learn how to pilot one someday, but she doesn't talk about that with her troupe. XD
Sil didn't become the grumpy little thing she is today until her experience with Gothique. She was actually pretty light hearted and mischievous before then. She'll probably get some of that back though once Izunala is gone, but I doubt she'll ever completely go back to the way she used to be.
And no. The two characters are her two teammates from back then. Eliza Hurns (vampire) and Joel Linden (human). I haven't gotten to write with Joel yet, I don't think he'll quite show up in this mini-story.

After hearing this, I can't look at Sil the same way again. But I think I have a lot more respect for her now (not like I didn't had any before then). A grumpy female treasure hunter? Sounds coolio. xD

Eh. I just want to show that Sil isn't some..random villain that just shows up out of nowhere. She does have a history to her and her motives come from -somewhere-, instead of "Bwahaha. I want to be evil."
...Andshit. Really. I can't even call Sil a villain. I can't even see her that way. She's an antagonist at most. And depending on how you're looking at the story, she could be a protagonist.

I finished writing it yay! It has an illustration too. >w> So you guys should go look at it.
Also. If its okay, I kinda used Ace in there as sort of a place holder character. XD He was the first person I thought of to use for like..that -one line-.

Sil's younger design was fairly easy once I realized I didn't have to stick to a particular model. Having a shape shifter character is amazing sometimes. >w>

I DREW ICARUS. Mostly because I want to see if I can successfully draw the other characters.;
Mostly based off of his written description and how I pictured him. >A> I CANNOT DRAW GIRLY MEN. FORGIVE ME. He still looks pretty damn feminine to me, though.
