Rhyperior picks Dark up off the ceiling and drops him. Dark crashes into the ceiling. Destroyer continues to do this, enjoying himself.
"Maddy help mee-!" Bangira's cry is cut off by him crashing into the ceiling again.

Sammy sweatdropped, still having Uxie attached to her head. "I guess you could say that," she giggled embarassedly, having become fond of the little legendary leech. (Woohoo for alliteration!)

Mission: Positive Reaction
Any Team Aqua Member is asked to catch a Plusle.
Plusle are commonly found along Route 110, but have been seen in Mr. Backlot's Trophy Garden on occasion.

Berg had just arrived at the almost famous Trophy Garden, and he was sure ready to get the mission over with. He figured keeping in uniform in public wouldn’t have been the smartest of decisions, so he changed quickly in his spare change of clothes hidden away in his backpack.

Now dressed like a regular Trainer, Berg knocked at the door of Mr. Backlot’s Mansion. It took only a few seconds before a response came to the microphone to his right.

“Shhhk…We will be right there. Please step back about ten steps, sir,” said a very formal sounding voice.

Berg did as asked and then watched the huge doors open automatically with a very old but very nice looking man stood behind them. He introduced himself as Chives and welcomed Berg to the home of the Trophy Garden. Berg walked in and shook the hand of the old butler. Berg was ready to get the mission over quickly so he asked, “Can you direct me to the Trophy Garden? I was told I could find a specific Pokémon here and I am kinda in a hurry.”

Chives nodded as he began to walk straight down a large hallway. It was a pretty big mansion, so it took several minutes to finally reach the entrance to the garden. “Have a good exploration, sir,” smiled Chives.

Berg thanked him before walking through the doors. He was surprised at the beauty of the garden. A huge fountain was the center piece with almost a maze of shrubs all around. Just at bare sight, Berg was able to see Pokémon everywhere. He was actually in awe at the sight. He regained his composure, wiped the drool from his chin, and began his search for Plusle.

Berg pushed through some bushes because even though he could see a lot of Pokémon, a Plusle was not one of them. He continued looking for the hiding Pokémon when he heard a loud screech and felt a scattered movement at his feet. He looked down to see a Pichu’s tail caught under his right foot. Berg quickly raised it and apologized to the little guy. Unfortunately, the Pichu didn’t seem to accept the apology and began angrily growling.

Berg knew he had to battle the Pichu now and that Totodile would be a poor choice, seeing as Pichu was the element of electricity. Croagunk appeared in a red glaze after Berg had taken his ball from his belt and released him. The little Pichu seemed to be only a youngster so Berg decided to take it kind of easy on him and try to force him to flee.

“Astonish!” cried Berg. Croagunk proceeded to use the move, now knowing that Berg was attempting to play this battle softly and not try to hurt the little guy. Pichu, being so inexperienced, was effected by the attack and tightened up, flinching, and not being able to make a move. Croagunk then charged in, scooping up some dirt as he flew forward. He created mud with the dirt and lightly slapped around the little Pichu, trying to cause some hurt but no injury.

Pichu was able to recover pretty easily and didn’t seem ready to give up. He charged up and let out a sharp bolt of electricity in Croagunk’s direction. Croagunk quickly responded by throwing up some dirt to negate the effects and charged in with a much more powerful attack. Pichu skidded along the ground, kicking up a little dust; it was finished. The poor fellow realized he wasn’t enough to handle Berg’s training.

Berg continued to look for Plusle, trying to watch his footing a little better. Berg’s ears perked up; he heard a sound which intrigued him, “Plu…plu…plusle.”

Berg thought from where could the sound had come from. He stayed perfectly still and looked around. He felt stupefied to see the Plusle standing atop the tip of the fountain. He began running and jumping over shrubbery in order to quickly reach the Plusle before it bounced away. Berg was stopped and slightly annoyed noticing that the Pichu had returned; only this time with a Pikachu that seemed quite annoyed. Berg had no desire to waste any more time with this little pest and his friends. He withdrew Totodile as well and figured an all out battle was about to occur.

Pikachu and Pichu combined a lightning attack which went straight for Totodile with a great speed. It seemed that they knew of type advantages. Totodile jumped into the air, barely dodging the attack, and landed onto the hands of Croagunk. Croagunk then spring launched him back into the air towards the two electric Pokémon. As Totodile slammed into the pair, he launched a close range Water Gun; Croagunk used this as an opportunity to grab some quick mud from the ground and charged in with a devastating Mud Slap. Pichu had clearly fainted because he was too weak to handle such combinations of attacks. Pikachu became enraged seeing Pichu injured and bolted at lightning speed at Croagunk. There was no dodging the speed of the attack and Croagunk was sent flying into a bush. He quickly bounced back and shrugged off any injury or pain. Croagunk then charged at Pikachu, distracting him from the real attack; Totodile got behind the Pikachu and began scratching away. Thrown off, Pikachu could not defend from the frontal assault from Croagunk.

With both Pokemon now fainted, Berg was ready to make a quick assault on the Plusle. Luckily it was still relaxing atop the fountain head. Berg called out a command to each of his Pokémon and the battle started. Totodile sent a stream of water out, knocking the Plusle from his resting place; as he hit the ground, Plusle was them slammed by an attack from Croagunk.

Berg thought, two-on-one seems hardly fair, but whatever needs to be done to complete the mission quickly and effectively, will be done. Plusle got up from the attacks confused and not sure what to do; he began to run away. Berg would not let that happen; he called out another pair of attacks. Croagunk leaped into the Plusle’s path and sent out a mind pulse attempting to force him to flinch; it obviously failed because Plusle slammed into Croagunk, sending them both rolling. Totodile halted his attack in order to avoid injuring Croagunk.

Once stopped, Croagunk held onto the Plusle and cried out, “Croa!!!!” Berg instantly grabbed from his bag a Pokeball. He sent it soaring through the air and it seemed to absorb Plusle. The ball landed with a thud and shook for a few seconds. Berg waited for the dinging sound that approved the capture, but it did not come, rather a great whooshing sound came as the Plusle came flying out of the ball.

Aggravated, Berg ordered a large attack upon the Plusle in which both of his Pokemon slammed into the tiny guy. Plusle could barely stand, but he managed to get to his feet and started walking towards the bushes. Berg felt bad for the little guy, but commended his spirit; he hoped that he would make a great addition to the team. Berg threw another Pokeball in attempt to catch Plusle. He once again waited for the sound of capture and this time was lucky enough to hear it.

Berg grabbed the Pokeball and began his journey to the nearest teleporter. On the way out, Berg saw several nurses carrying Pichu and Pikachu away to be treated for minor injuries.

"What's that supposed to mean, bakka?" she asked Mr. Cody, her brows furrowed. She turned, waving to Memo. "Hiya there," she said, grinning.

"I think we're just sorta hanging out," Sammy replied to Memo.

How about that! Your first mission... I think... Anyways, very nice. One thing I wanted to point out, instead of using Berg, Berg, Berg all the time, try something to give it more spice. Throw in words like "the trainer", or "the boy", or even something as simple as "he".

Also, something I was kind of hoping for was something like Mr. Backlot appearing and giving you the "Well, doesn't tat make you envious." speech like he does in the games. I'm not deducting points for it, I'm just saying it would've been a nice addition.

Keep the Plusle and the 500 PD. I look forward to reading more of your missions.

Sammy looked up at Mr. Bangira. "You okay there? Need us to scrape you off of the ceiling?" she snickered a bit.

Sammy nodded. "Isn't it greeeeat?~" she chimed to Mr. Cody's observation. "Just out of curiosity, am I really your 'hun'?" she asked, raising an eye brow.
