so today in pep band, we played musical chairs. our musical director/conductor guy wanted to let other people conduct. and that ended up with people switching instruments and playing them. this didn't always go well. the trumpet player on the mellophone was fine, but the snare player on tuba (having never played it before) was not.
That must of killed your ears. o . o I know my ears would have died it that situation. gonk
not that bad actually, because if they had an instrument that they really didn't know how to play, they just didn't play that much. (am going to dinner and then practice after this)
Well that's good. ^^ But what about that snare player on the tuba? o.o (Have a good dinner and I hope you did well in your practice. ^^)
she was fairly quiet and could be played over so it was alright (practice ended early, we were doing so well)

I spent my day taking care of a few cherubs. As a thank you I was given this beautiful book. Its such a wonderful book.
A book? Ooooooooo.....what kind of book? Is it really awesome manga? Or perhaps a really well written fantasy story?

And the person reading that book is an Angelic version of Minky. Books give people ideas. The most deadly person sometimes is the person who is most passionate and is the one who feels that what they are doing is absolutely just.
Because it's an escape from the cold once I've gotten a little too much of it xD (Hehe I know, right? ^u^ )

Well...
I live on a typical one-way residential city street... suburban folks may consider it a narrow place to drive... with parallel parking on both sides... but it's actually fairly wide in comparison to other streets in St. Louis City... Anywho, so we were next door at my grandma's house, celebrating her 90th birthday... there's a total of 7 kids, plus all their kids and some of those kids have kids as well... so some of us had flowed out onto the front porch of the small house because it was cramped inside and it had cooled down a lot here so talking outside with people was actually much better than being inside... Flash forward to this guy flying up the street and he knocks the mirror right off my car and his is only hanging on by it's wires... AND HE KEEPS GOING! When like half of my family is outside to see him do it emotion_facepalmrolleyes
So one of my older cousins (who loves bragging about how she carries a gun on her at all times... xD) jumps into her truck and chases the guy down... she finds him hiding in a parking spot a block over, so she blocks him in with her truck until the police get there... turns out the guy is on probation for possession of marijuana, and from what the policeman could tell... it looked like he was under the influence again... he had a knife on him, his license was suspended and had no insurance as well...
So Monday, I got to go downtown to press charges, lol.
*sips her tea* ...never a dull moment in my life. lol
Oh my. That is a crazy weekend. o.o Well at least he was caught and no one (except your car) got hurt. ^^ Cookies m'lady?
