well when you have everyone in your family come up to you and b***h about their problems and expect you to listen but when you do the same thing but you either get cut off mid sentence or have noises shouted at you so you cant get a word in or are told you are being emotional when you are speaking pretty calmly then what are you to do hm?

Walk in my room and noting is on fire/dying, I have the right to ignore you. My mom doesn't allow locked doors and FYI, my door IS CUT IN HALF. This is all about management.

My dad took a mini saw and cut it in half horizontilly. So I could keep my door open for airflow but keep animals in/out. However, my door is not completely whole/soundproof now. Closing it has also become a b***h and involved a slidelock. It's like my own drive through window.
