learned anything on those two with the requests yet, frac?

Now now, patience is a virtue when dealing with magi. you want fireworks, you'll have to do something to attract fireworks. He's not stupid. and he's not about go jump at the first sign of runeing, because he's a mage. he knows full well it takes time and training. he's specifically looking for Master Rune mages. lessers will just get in the way of who he's looking for.

Mostly because he's got abilities to help 'speed' the learning process up. So why waste time with the apprentices, why waste his energy, when there's bigger fish. You got his attention. he's letting you know that. if you want him to come looking for you, you have to give him a reason to want to.

This guy has mastered Enchantment, Sorcery, Conjuration, has a pretty damn good grasp on Planar travel, and mastered Necromancy. He knows hes more then a match for any specialist mage...except a Rune Mage. he's not sure exactly what a rune mage can bring to the table.

He's baiting you. he wants you to do something big and flashy and runic. he wants to be able to be realtively sure your a master...before he starts playing the real game.

Could be. but seeing as he don't know what exactly a rune mage is capable off, he's just going by what he can guess/other magics have displayed.

masters of sorcery that he knows of can bring comets of ice down on enemies...massive walls of flame around themselves...conjurors create things like wist did in tourney, and Savvy gives a clue what a necro can do. enchantment is subtler....but you see he's moving people like puppets with it in crowds, pulling on emotional and mental strings.

So he's waiting for something big by his estimate. the nullification got his attention for certain. Fianna is a target indeed. now he's trying to gauge if she's a high level apprentice, or a real potential master.

heh you could call him that. think of him more though like a...a Snape type. he's cold, his calculating. and he craves power and magical artifacts as if they were a drug he's hopelessly addicted to.

his ADD came from wanting to be better then everyone else. which meant he had to be able to overcome any school of magic's weakness...by learning all the schools. evey magic art has weaknesses...and he's gotten rid of a lot of them by having another school mastered to compensate.

he's got knowledge and power...but that doesn't mean he's without limits on how much he can do and what he can do at a given time. He's not an Aztec razz
