Garry the fish was having a regular old day. Swim here, eat that, sleep a bit. A regualr, joe-be-fine day. And look, there were some of his fishy comrades, come to help eat the fishy food and generaly bask in all the fishy goodness.
but, as regualr a day as is had started out as, the end was anything but. Garry the fish finished his fishy meal, and turned to his commards, who were watching him expectantly.
Today was the day. No longer would the ground walkers feast apon the flesh of their families! How dare they throw down their nets and scoop them up like nothing mroe than common trash! They were fish! The lords of the water! Soon, more than just Garry's school had gathered, soon the entire underwater seemed to be swimming here, listening to Garry's bubbling words. Today, they would evolve!
Today, they would grow beyond their need for water, and walk the land, if only to rid it of those who walked it's sruface, and return to their peaceful, dark homes. Cheers went up around the group. Garry would lead them to triumph!
Garry was promptly eaten by an ichthyosaurs, and the crowd dispersed, and all was forgotten.

Malik led them all bak up to the main floor, leading Piper carefully as she was pretty much blind right now, and to the kitchen. where hs found two barrels and two imps apparently getting drunk. And he stomped over, and grabbed both of them by the shirt and jerked them up.
"Exactly what do you two think your doing?"
Looking from one ot the other, and not very happy about it at the moment.

They smiled almost evily. "You wouldn't let us have any of your booze."
"So we got our own." The smell of alcohol was quite heavey on their breath, and the looks on their faces were elss than pleasant. Infact, the looked positivly cruel. There was an odd glint in their eye, one that spoke of triumph, accomplishment, and drunkeness.
And right now, they weren't enjoying being manhandled.
"Kindly let go." Oh my, their demeanor had changed as well.

Well at least with her eyes partially shaded brougth the bright white that her eyes saw to a equally not very pleasant grayish white. Still not very good, needed to control that. And being lead around wasn't too fun and she was insanely paranoid of tripping. But she knew that Malik wouldn't let her. Though her ears twitched and she felt around for the nearest thing to get her barings. Happened to be Kieran's arm. "Are you messing with those imps? Those are mine..."
Kieran chuckled and placed his hand on Piper's shouler to let her have her bearings. "When the elves are away the imps will play obviously. Boys...you much of that have you had?"
"They look more evil than drunk to me."

Jaun looked back at the two barrels behind them. They were empty. "We had to go back for more."

"I think I got a better idea for you two. you want to drink? that's fine with me."
A look around for the lids. oh there they were. a walk over, holding both imps, and kicking the lids over by the barrels.
"You're obnoxious, annoying, and destructive normally, I have no intention of giving you free roam of my home while drunk."
Let let go, and caught both by the tail as the dropped.
"So if you want to drink, you go ahead."
And he dropped both imps into a barrel each, slammed down both lids, a little flare of necromancy to erode and melt and fuse the lids to teh rest of the barrel and then picked them up and tossed them sidewyas out the widow so they can roll away.

They let themselves be thrown into the barrels, because hey, while they were drunk and essentially mean at the moment, it was funnier this way.
The barrels were tossed, but the imps weren't inside. Jell shook his head from his palce on the ceiling. "My goodness, brother. I don't think he likes us."
Jaun pouted. "We didn't even ruin any of his stuff this time."
"We even got our own ale."
"You're not being very nice, Malik."
"We don't think we like that."
Jaun nodded, and poofed out for a moment. Then he was back, and smiling.
"Well dear brother, what did you do?"
"Set fire to that rug in the main foyer."

Eliot grinned. Yay! No dragging! She stretched her jaw a little and then happily began to pound oput of the cave, often turning around and tugging on Aella's clothes to make her go faster. She was more or less directing them so if Aella was goign to sowly for her there was not much to be done about it.
But soon there was enough light for Aella to see better and they twisted and turned throughtout the tunnel. Occasionally waitng for spiders to pass by or flickign away their tiny ofspring. Not much time had passed though it seemed before they were out in the open.
Eliot bounded out, happily chasing anything that looked like it could move, snapping at pieces of... grass she supposed ti was and just feeling happy. She whished she could share the feeling with Warren.
She jumped around a bit and turned to circle Aella, looking at her and hoping to see that her heart was as light as Eliot's was.
Kat almost sneaked around the mansion. She was afraid of running into those elves that she didn't know. She wasn't sure how she would conduct herself infront of them and wanted to save herself the embarasment. feeling alittle lonely she had thought to find someone, but it was difficult considereing most of the somone's were elves or Malik, and honestly, she didn't care for him. Okay she'll admit it to herself, he scared her and would rather not come to meet him... ever. So she happned to turn into the dining room and saw Moonstone staring a little quizicly at some strawberry tarts. "You know some people consider cooking to be a hobby..." She said a little sheepishly

It was one of those times that you hated being blind because well...you couldn't look who you were yelling at. But at least she did look up, her ears giving her a general locationg of the two. "What did I tell you two on destroying things?!" And a kinda look to Malik...he was more to the left really. "And what did I tell you about...doing whatever it is you are doing to them?" Ugh...it would never end. "Imps behave your drunk selves. Malik you just behave." And a look to Kieran. "And could you do something about this?!"
Kieran tried not to laugh and pulled her over, placing his hand over her eyes and holding there. A soft sort of light emitting from under his hand. "Alright alright, I'm really going to have to teach you how to do this. That way you can use your vision abilities and not be blinded at the same time."

It was like having a pet, and Aella had to remind herself that this wolf was a human girl, not a dog. Even though it was insanly cute. And yeah, she as kind of feeling good about the little battle, it had gone smoothly, and they were both fairly unscathed and un-poisoned, which was a pretty big deal, eh?
She smiled at Eliot as they followed the little transparent birds, her pace easy and light, the bells on her staffjingle almost happily.
They made it too the keep, after much stick throwing for Eliot, at which point Aella had to wonder if fetching in human form would really be as rewarding. Ah hell, it was just cute. SHe was about two feet from the Keep's steps when she stopped, looking down at her blood drenched hair and clothes.
"Ugh, we can't go inside like this. We must smell to high heaven, which would really be cruel for Ma, since she's got such a sensitive nose." She smiled. "I think Warren would appreciate it too, if we bathed outside first." She began to walk around to the back of the building. "Come on, I think there's sometihng out back we can use. If not a spring, then a tub. or a hole in the gorund."
Indeed, a small circle of trees hid what looked to be a hot spring, which also did not look natural. The hole looked like it was dug with large dragon claws, the trees either coincedence or design. that drgon was very...considerate, wasn't he?
Moonstone looked up from the tarts, which he had been contemplating for some time. how did one go about making tarts? There was a proccess he was sure, Mother did cooking now and then. But the vah usually ate raw things, which meant cooking was completely unneccessary. But thena gian, things tended to taste the same always raw, and yet it looked like you could cook the same food in different ways and have completely different tastes. How od...maybe he could experiment with Bode...
He looked at Kat, and since she wasn't tryoing to touch him, he smiled a bit. Past was past, leave it there. "I have trouble seeing how one can enjoy making these things. The process seems odd to me."

Eliot in her wolf form thought more like a wolf than a dog and tended to act that way. She loved fetching sticks and doing other dog like things. She just enjoyed it, but ask her to fetch something while she was human, she and others liek her, would be insulted, they weren't dogs after all were they?
She laughed at the thought, she had to admit that some in her pack where no different as wolves then they were as humans... and so didn't make very good humans owing to the fact that they would chase, bite, dig, and fart loudly.
Elito sighed when she saw the pool, she hoped it was heated! And was immediatly in her human form. It would be easier to bath that way and she wouldn't be compelled to use her tongue.
"Oh man the water looks so nice!" running to the waters edge she began to strip, she had the lasces on her pants almost undone when she looked at Aella, suddenly remembering that she coulsn't swim in the lake to deep water because of all the precations. "nothing in there that's goign to kill me is there?"
Kat smiled a little, "Well you are a carnivor right? So i guess you wouldn't see the need but humans... and others... can't digest it so i guess it makes sence to us." She walked over the table and poked at some of the pastries, finding something that lookied like a butter tart she popped it into her mouth, sighing with bliss, it was a butter tart and a damned good one. "Thethes are goog oneths" She said around a mouthful. She swalloed audibly and looking slighly abashed she took smaller bites next time. "As for the proces... well i guess its all just to appeal to our need for changes. Eating the same thing all the time can be depressing, it reminds us just how boring life can be."

Aella smiled. "No, I'm pretty sure that's good. Tanundra wouldn't let Ma bath in anything that was dangerous." She likewise stripped, folding her clothes in a neat pile by the pool. Unlike men, Aella was quite comfortable with her body in front of women. She had afterl, lived with naked women most of her life. Nothing new or threatening there.
She heased herself into the water, undid her hair so that is spilled down her shoulders and thus into the water as well. She sighed happily in the warm water. Not hot water, just warm. She sunk in to her shoulders.
It was a fairly large pool, enough for four or five people. Although it looked like the crew only used it when Meilikki got fed up with their smell...
"No, humans can digest raw meat. It's the bacteria in the raw meat that they can't touch. Stomach acid isn't powerful enough to hurt things like ecoli." He looked at a tart, but wasn't really keen on trying one. He didn't have much of a sweet tooth. He shrugged. "It's not so bad. At elast I know meat will always be good."
He turned tohugh, and walked out of the kitchen. "I really don't tihnk cooking is my thing."

Eliot smiled and quickly stripped the rest of her clothes off, and sunk herself into the water pretty much the same way as Aella had. Although the water came pretty close to her chin, behing as shirt as she was. She laughed a little and gettign out of the water she found a suitable branch that she could settle in the water and balance herself on.
This way the water rested just at the base of her neck. "Aaaaaaaa much better. This...pool, sure is nice Aella. Wish we had had wone at home, bathing in cold water was not pleasant!"
Not wanting to loose Moonstone Kat put down the rest of her pastry and followed after him. "So what is your thing then? Archery? Poetry writing? Flower arrangement?" She laughed a little... flower arrangemnt.

Malik shook his head.
"I was behaving. they want to drink, so I put them in ther barrels and outside so they didn't do anything in the house. though that didn't seem to do much good. and yes, Kieran, it woudl be a good idea to teach her that little trick."
A glare at the imps.
"You have any idea where that rug is even from, much less how much it's worth? you should be flayed alive by the Faceless himself for setting fire to it."
One hand resting on Malvolence, but nope, not going to make piper any more angry than she already was.
"That's just the thing, Kat. he doesn't know what his 'thing' is."
And Onyx slid down the banister, stepping down by her.
"He hasn't felt anything most his life, and now he want's to find somethign to relieve teh feeling of boredom."
A slight smirk.
"A tad bit ironic, don't you think?"

"I bet. Although I'm fairly used to the cold at this point."
She scrubbed the blood of her skin, but had a bit of a time getting it out of her hair, as it had caked in a bit and was pretty unyielding. She sgihed, and toook to working at it with her fingers. No other way at the moment, since she had left her brush inside the keep.
"It's more than most people get I tihnk. It was cold showers in the harem too. That is, when we were allowed to bathe."
Moonstone had a bit of a sheepish look on his face. "Uh, well." He cleared his throat. "I havent' really...known myself for very long. not long enough to know wht my interests are at least."
But he shrugged. "I don't think archery would do me any good, and I'm not all that proficient with words. And flower arranement is illogical. Where do you expect to find flowers in this palce?"
He sighed, this was a little depressing.
He looked at his brother. "Indeed it is." He shrugged. "Better than sitting in my room and doing notihng, which used to be my only passtime."
