"Harh, I heard her and Tacitus had an interesting dancing lesson once. Aye lassy?"
Malazar smiles and sits at the bar with a bottle of amber liquid.
"Anyways, what do you do Luke? I know both John and Cora are in Law Enforcement, some of the others are authors or professors and such."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can't resist her. She's in your bones. She is your marrow, and your ride home.
You can't avoid her. She's in the air. [in the air] And in between molecules of oxygen and carbon dioxide.
Only in dreams, you'll see what it means. Reach out our hands. Hold on to hers. But when we wake, it's all been erased. And so it seems... only in dreams.
You walk up to her. Ask her to dance. She says 'hey baby, I just might take a chance.'
You say it's a good thing. That you float in the air. [in the air.] Up where there's no way I will crush Your pretty toenails into a thousand pieces.
Only in dreams, you'll see what it means. Reach out our hands. Hold on to hers. But when we wake, it's all been erased. And so it seems... only in dreams.
Only in dreams. Only in dreams. Only in dreams! Only in dreams! Only in dreams! Only in dreams. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Malazar is silent for a moment as the song ends. He then sighs heavily.
"Kinda fitting for this place isn't it?"

*He doesn't even let her finish as he pulls her out of her chair, though not roughly. As the song progresses he tries his best to guide Coras through it, giving her quiet tips and forewarnings before the rather fast paced music. A series of spins and other swing dancing moves follow with a finalle, after preparing her, of a move known as the sling shot.*
[go look it up -_- name kinda explains it...but whatever. guy back then fast forward, then bring her up, whatever...this post was a hella lot nicer before Gaia farted on it]
[song not put in due to the fact that I can xp ]

:::Cora thought it might be less painful if she stuck to doing what she was trained to do, and that was obeying orders. She caught every whispered lead, every slight movement and physical nuance that would hint her one how to move. She felt like it was rough...but certainly exillerating:::
:::Then, for the last move, she couldn't help but let out a little yelp of suprise as her body was tossed upwards. She wasn't sure what she was doing up there, her heart was racing though, like it hadn't in...well it hadn't:::
:::When she finally felt her feet on the ground, she let out a little chuckle along with an exasperated sigh:::
Oh my... that was... hehehe...

*Johnathan stood stunned for a moment, she had done exceedingly well for one that had seemingly not known what she was doing at first.*
"Damn that was ******** awesome. Much better than that ghoul at that party I went to during RnR time after my last mission. But I must say, for a human, which I must assume you are, you are built exceedingly well. I don't even think Matron was built as....sturdily as you."
*He was, of course, observing her weight, not only her basic build.*
[she said cora was heavy over aim sweatdrop density and stuff]
++Paradise City-Guns n Roses++
CHORUS x2 Take me down to the paradise city Where the grass is green And the girls are pretty Take me home (Oh, won't you please take me home)
Just an urchin livin' under the street I'm a hard case that's tough to beat I'm your charity case So by me somethin' to eat I'll pay you at another time Take it to the end of the line
Rags to riches Or so they say You gotta Keep pushin' for the fortune and fame You know it's, it's all a gamble When it's just a game You treat it like a capitol crime Everybody' doin' their time
CHORUS x2

*Luke was listening to Malazar and nodding to him, but he was watching Cora dance. He chuckled at her. Christ, she looked like a little kid at a wedding reception...*
*But he was smiling when he faded out.*

:::Answering John, sort of straightening herself out, and catching her breathe not to mention:::
Yes, my muscle fibers have the capacity to for a much greater density thanks to extensive chemical treatment. All the officers of my era are exposed to the treatm-
:::She felt herself slipping away:::
Oh goodness. Thank you for teaching me that dance, Johnathan. I hope we have the chance to do it again... :::She looked around::: Goodbye Malazar thank you for the music...

**Enter Maggie, Bard, from Guest Rooms, 35**
*Maggie and Bard walk in from the hallway to the Guest Rooms, moving directly for the key board and door. Maggie looks noticably shaken, and is hardly even aware of the music or other occupents, so fixated is she on getting home. She graps her key from its hook, hesitating briefly as she goes to open the door. She looks to Bard for a moment, then takes a deep breath and puts the key in the lock, swinging the door open and stepping through it with him*
**Exit Maggie, Bard, to Ainsford, 3**

*Johnathan glanced around, then poked himself in the arm, stomach, forehead, and various other places.*
"Well...I'm still here....and without music....or stuff to shoot.....dammit."
*He thought about wandering around and basically seeing what else was around, but there was that door to nowhere. He tried to remember what that pale ghoul like person had said about it. There were keys and the door and then...something happened. Well, whatever it was, it had to be better than an antipersonel mine to the face, or else there would be quite a few more people without faces having drinks for all eternity with the great Brother [dual meaning for him] in the sky. He checks it out, finding his key and trying the door, reappearing in his world with the roar of automatic gunfire.*

*Luke appears stumbling into the Brink, clutching a bottle of the Captain's finest in his hand.* Drink it! Chuck, you better drink it, you p***y! *Overcompensating, he teetered back and forth until he regains his footing... He finds this all too amusing.*
*The heavy stench of alcohol's upon him, but Luke doesn't seem to care. He's moving to a beat unheard by Cora... And that's when he realizes that there is no music, and there's no one named Chuck in front of him...*
*He looks around.* The Brink! ... *His voice is loud and unhindered.* I'M IN THE BRINK! EVERY TIME I TURN AROUND I'M IN HERE! *He laughs, again in a ridiculous way.* Why IS it that every time I look I'm here?
*He sees Cora and he runs towards her.* CORA!

:::She'd been watching him the moment he faded in. The smell of alcohol and overbearing tone gave him away. But it almost seemed like he had just noticed her. She was a bit suprised when he approached her:::
Luke...goodness. You seem to be inhebriated. Very inhebriated.
