Saying nothing, Johnny just looks around absorbing the sights and sounds. Until he settles upon listening to some men talking about the funeral of a man who doesn't sound like he was liked.

"..." the spirit says nothing, either because he is not able to or does not want to. Another storm blows in and suddenly the two are outside of the Darksun house. Now it's no longer a shack but a lovely house fit for anyone. "..."

"Oh yes spirit, a place of joy and laughter, thank you for bringing me here! But it's so quiet. Why is it so quiet?" Johnny asks the spirit, not expecting any response. He then turns to look in the window.

"..." The spirit points out one long bony finger to a figure sitting in a large chair, it is Cale but he looks to be sobbing, depressed, and sad. "..." The spirit then moves his finger to point at an object near the fireplace that Cale is facing, it is but a tiny cruch that once belonged to a small crippled boy. "..."

Cale leaves the house and a sudden lightning bolt strikes, the spirit has yet again transported Jhonny to another location in the near future, infront of Tiny Des' grave where Cale is seen putting flowers in downpour of rain. "..."

Johnny sadly as Cale places the flowers on Tiny Des' grave.
"There is something else that I must know. Is that not true?" he asks, turning towards the spirit.

"..." The spirt ingores his question to show Jhonny something more importiant. Two grave diggers finishing up a grave, "Are we done yet?" asked the first grave digger. "Yeah, but a bloke like him dosent deserve a grave this nice." replied the second. "Hey," said the first again,"I 'eard that nobody came to his service, not even that one guy who worked for him...what was his name again?" "Who cares lets go to the tavern and get a pint before we go home." said the second digger and the two left. The spirit then pointed his ominous finger towards the gravestone infront of the freshly burried corpse. "..."

"Answer me this spirit, Are these shadows of things that will be? Or are they shadows of what may be only?" Johnny says before taking a few steps towards the grave and then stopping and turning to the spirit.
"Events can be changed. A life can be made right," Johnny says before moving up to the headstone. Kneeling down and brushing off the snow that accumulated on the headstone. He reads the name, Johnny Malone.
Turning towards the spirit Johnny moves towards him and falls down tugging on the spectre's robes.
"Oh. Please. Spirit. No. Hear me. I'm not the man I was. Why would you show me this if I was past all hope? I... I will honour Christmas and try to keep it all the year. I will live my life in the past. the present and the future. I will not shut out the lessons the spirits have taught me. Tell me that I may sponge out the writing on this stone. Oh, Spirit. Please speak to me." Johnny sobs pulling one last time on the spirits robes.

"..." The spirit still says nothing as Jhonny tuggs at his robes which slowly become more and more colorful. Soon the spirit is gone and so is the grave yard, and that terrible gravestone. It is morning, Crixmas morning.

"I-I'm home!" Johnny exclaims. The bedposts were his own, the bed was his own, the room was his own. But the thing that made Johnny the happiest of all was that his life was before him and it could be changed. Rushing towards the window, he throws open the shutters.
"You there, boy! What day is today?" he calls down to a young man passing on the street.
