I'm not going to get into this debate because I've spoken about the Mr. Nice Guy vs Mr. Jerk a lot of times, I'm just sick to death of how everything is when it comes to that.

Especially since I'm the former being shafted rather than the latter.

But here is the thing. I've never played both roles. I've been the Nice Guy all my life, I don't have it in me to ever be a Jerk, at all.

Everybody has the potential to be a jerk. It's the great thing about human nature. I'm not doubting that you're not a jerk all the time, and will go out of your way to make sure your women is happy. But there are times when even the nicest guys can be a** wipes.

Personally I don't think I'm the super nice guy or the jerk I'm somewhere in the middle. I love to cater to my woman, make sure that she has everything, as long as she does the same for me.


And Noah let's hope you never get to the point where you feel that you have to a jerk to keep a girl. I'm sure that at some point there is going to be a woman that will know how to take care of you.

I'm a nice guy. or at least I think I am. opinions vary I'm sure on that point. but it matters little. that's another area I've all but given up on anyway.

Porn isn't defined by people having sex, unfortunately just like everything these days, it's defined by the people who read them/view them. Therefore, the term is vague and equated with anything anyone wants it to be.

I've never read a romance novel that didn't have sex in it. (But I don't like most romance themes, give me a good action or comedy any day!) In fact, most of any book I've read has had sex in it.

I do agree with you that there isn't much difference between books and movies. I don't agree about the 'x rated' differentiation though, since most films have sex in them anyway. Hey, we all know sex sells, and we are all after the moola.

*sigh* I am so sick of sex and sexual themes right now. I mean, it's a thing that's permeated nearly every aspect of our daily lives. Worshiping female genitalia to a point were we are afraid to look at a nude woman, using the p***s as a source of humor and shock subject. We've put sex upon a pedestal that's unclean but on everybody's mouths. We love it, we abhor it, we want it, won't someone think of the children?

That remark was supposed to encompass the history of sex that's made us so frightened of our nudity. The early 1800's held sex as largely taboo, such acts were performed at night with the no light, pregnancy was so disgraceful that it was hidden, women dropping out of sight until the child was born. And the children were all fine and dandy but woe to your social status if someone found out you were having sex.
