Myra watched Madden. "What do you like best?"
Lyori smiled and played with one of his ears. "Your ears are all red. Is the widdle ice hatchling embarrassed?" she teased.
Kuro thought some. And nodded a little. "I-I like ruins.... Y-Ya know.... Looking for them... A-And digging them up..."

Madden shrugged. "The classes I suppose. I had to teach myself reading and writing, and it's nice to learn from somebody for a change."
Kaitani rolled his eyes. "I'm no hatchling, especially compared to you."
Diablo raised an eyebrow. "Have you ever visited the Ruins of Avalon?" [OOC:] Kaitani is a cradle robber....

Myra smiled and nodded some. "I'll tell you a secret. I'm related to most of the teachers." she whispered, smiling cutely.
Lyori huffed a little. "I was just trying to be playful. Don't need to get all huffy." she said, going back to her table in a huff.
Kuro glanced to Diablo and shook his head. "N-No... B-But I'd like to go."

Madden's eyes widened. "Really? I didn't realize so many people were part of the royal family here..."
Kaitani stared after Lyori, absolutely puzzled. He'd just been joking too... And who was acting huffy aside from her??
Diablo nodded. "Not many people have seen them. They're marvelous, though, I can tell you."

Myra smiled and nodded. "Of course! There are many generations here. I think at least 4 or 5."
Lyori sighed and sat down at her table. Maybe she was the one being huffy. Oops... She just made a big mistake. Again. She thought to write him a note later and apologize for her little childishness. She could be so darn stupid sometimes.
Kuro nodded some and sighed. Now he really wanted to go! But his father probably wouldn't let him leave. Not with how young he was and that it was still just the beginning of the term.

Madden raised her eyebrows in surprise. "Who all is in this current generation?" she asked curiously.
Kaitani sighed some and stared at the floor in confusion. It was then that the lights were dimmed and everyone began to lead their dates to the dance floor. He swallowed, glancing at Lyori from across the room, before a pretty girl came up and asked if he'd dance with her. Not wanting to be rude, he agreed, and lost sight of Lyori in the process.
Diablo glanced towards the dance floor in curiosity, and looked back at Kuro. "Sorry to leave you hanging, but I can't resist a dance floor." he saluted Kuro, then began his way towards the table he'd been watching all night...

Myra thought for a moment. "Let's see... Myself, Jazz over there," she paused, pointing the boy out to Madden, "And the first generation on my great-great-great uncle is Maria, and Kuro." she explained, pointing Maria out, then Kuro who waved to Diablo as he left for the dance floor.
Lyori soon got up, sighing. She decided this party was a bit too much for her now. Maybe she should just head to her room.... No one would notice, right?

Madden looked around at all the people, amazed at the extent of their family tree.
Before Madden could ask anymore questions, though, Diablo came and tapped Myra on the shoulder. "I couldn't help asking if you'd like to dance, Princess."
Kaitani finally released himself from the girl that had insisted on dancing with him, and he looked around, hoping to find Lyori before the other dragon got snatched up by somebody else.
Jazz was wandering along the edge of the dance floor, when he caught sight of the golden and black haired girl getting ready to leave. "You don't really think you're going to get away with leaving while the party is still starting, do you?" he asked the girl jokingly.
Maria hadn't noticed herself being pointed out. She'd probably have thought it a mistake, anyways. Most people still didn't know who she was there, yet, and she really only ever spoke to Kuro and her parents...

Myra looked up and blushed lightly. Diablo was quite handsome. She then turned to Madden. "I'll be back later." With that, she took Diablo's hand and let him lead her to the dance floor.
Lyori glanced over to see Jazz and she sighed a little. "I don't think parties are my thing... she said glumly. She wanted to be alone for a little bit. Or jsut go to bed. Too many people, too much commotion, too much drama.

Jazz frowned some and nodded towards a tapestry to their left. "Down the passage, take a right, then two lefts, and you'll come to the main dorm hallway. You should know where to go from there."
Diablo led Myra to the dance floor and put his hand on her waist as the song started. "So, Princess, enjoying the party?"

Lyori nodded a little and thanked Jazz, slipping out of the ballroom. She followed his directions and soon found her way back to her room. She sat down at her desk and let the nymph go back to his little nest as she thought.
Myra smiled some and shrugged a little. "I am. But I think one of my new friends left. That's depressing."

Myra glanced around a little before looking back at Diablo. "Well I just met her. She seemed new to the school. Like you. I haven't seen you around. What's your name?"
Lyori just sat in her room, sighing, playing with her necklace some. She glanced to her door, wondering if she should go back to the party.

Myra stared at him for a moment. "Diablo? Really? That can't possibly be your real name..." she said. Part of her inside was starting to get wary of him. He was starting to seem like almost every other guy here. A knucklehead trying to impress her with how scary or strong they were.
