No I have no idea. I have all the protection updated on my computer. I never give out my password, I report every hacker/scammer I see and I still get hacked.
I have sent in the email I received as part of my hacking report. It came from the same email address as all the others that's why I reset my password.
I am just so damn frusturated and angry over this. I cannot believe I lost all that stuff. Granted I will probably get it all back, but why should I have to wait? I didnt do anything wrong and I have to play the waiting game. Its so wrong and it makes me wanna just leave and not come back at all.

so you dont think that someone used a phisher to obtain your password? or you were diverted to a site that looks like gaia? its happened to me before, there have been phishers on pages and links to other websites like gaia.
or maybe it was your kid? (just a suggestion people have had siblings/relatives change passwords)

no it was not my son. he wouldnt do that besides when it happened i had the modem so he couldnt. i accidently took it with me when i left to go to the store
strange thing is my email is still getting the messages from gaia saying i have a new pm. i thought hackers changed that? or maybe since they cant trade/gift anything on my account they just left it. my account has not made a post since the last one I did.

nope i already put in the scamming report. i logged off at 3pm my time logged back in at 345pm my time that is when i noticed all this. i sent the hacking report at 4pm on this account.
the mod assured me they will not do any reversal unless I ask for it. It is my account and the mod will do a thorough investigation before I get it back. I told them I had over 8 trades canceled today, all my good items and gold traded to whomever and it was not me. I last logged in at 2:15pm and logged off at 3pmish. I logged back on at 3:45pm and thats when I knew something was wrong.

Vexous odd, maybe the hackers trying to get help to undo what gaia's done to the account to stop them the mod made sure the person handling my hacking report knew the complete list and the account has been hacked. noone will be able to reverse anything but me that mod assured me. i think they realize they cant do anything with my account since the trade/gift is disabled so they left the account.

so far i contacted 5 artists via pm about my account being hacked
one is not happy but i told them i was hacked they dont believe me
i told them i can send a trade from mermaid but they dont want it.
idiot. they didnt even start my request. i can see they are upset but it is only 30k not like one of the canceled requests which was 300k
