I'm wondering how they got you. After all, a brute force hack would have been obvious. I've been through LOTS of brute force attempts where they look at all your stuff and just keep guessing because they think your password is based on those things.
Scam PM crap is obvious because well...those kinds of scammers are morons trying to get things.
They either picked up a hint from somewhere or you may want to run a scan on your computer in case you picked up a keylogger from someone.
Or...when you logged in again you were on a fake login redirect page and they phished you.
Damn...there are too many ways for people to be asshats on here.

okay I tried doing the report again, and it just seems to be reloading the page with allt he information on it. so I sent a pm to nopenname explaining the situation as well just in case it is going through and that it might be considering spamming it.

no, it was just reloading. I foudn out what was wrong.
I left a field open becuas eone of the rules says not to put n/a to it. (that being the shared computer question) then found out that becuase the asshat changed my username, that I had to put in the new name rather then the old one.
so I added to the report what my old name was that I'd like to have back.
9383919 this is my referance number so I don't forget it here.

Hopefully they'll get to you quick. You may want to delete your current PM to Nopenname and send her a new updated one if you still want to check your status, or just delete it altogether since your report went through.
As I hear it, they have hacking investigation down to a week.
Also lucky...your name is still avaliable. I checked.

at least that means that the odds are they'll give me my name back. even if they can't restore all my stuff, which is the important thing. equipment I can get back. but I want my damned name!

I'm sure you'll be able to get it back, so long as no bright idea user comes along and figures it out himself to use. I think you'll be fine.
You may have to change it yourself when you get your account back, but it's still your to have.
