My favorite scene is still from the first episode where Mal shoots the guy holding River hostage and keeps walking. That or the "Vera" scene from "Our Mrs. Reynolds."

I first watched the movie and that's what got me into the show, I think I did catch an episode while it was still on fox, I dunno maybe it was my imagination or something.

Must have been on Sci-fi if you saw the movie first. The show was firmly cancelled on Fox by the time the movie came out. CW: That's hard, but I prefer Outlaw Star.

Let me rephrase that, I think I saw Firefly on fox first but my memory of that is fuzzy, I did in fact see Serenity pretty much on a whim while coming out of Corpse Bride.
