I know, I troll through barton all the time looking for peopel who seem fairly intelligent. not easy there..and then trying to see about getting into thier rps to entice them to us through subversion...again not easy when they all want those damn anime piccie rather then descriptions of characters.
I been looking to try and revitalize cymmie. I've reread AP like 4 times now and there was so much I wanted or coulda done with him that I didn't do. razz
but I also realized reading back why I didn't. or more to the point, the actions of whom that I didn't want to have to deal with.

That damn anime thing. It's an RP, you can be whatever the hell you want and you don't. Be original damn it.

I've thought about a few things. some ideas...but it's not easy. I mean I would love to ressurect Aura and cym and nailah and rand and the rest, but I know that ain't gunna happen.

Well, Aurah's had her story so I'm good with not bringing her back. And truthfully, I've resurrected her elsewhere and she's had an overhaul that suits her, but not who she was here.
Besides, have you seen my character roster lately? It's HUGE and it's getting bigger in a few more plot points.
Easy enough to work what you want to work, pleanty or reasons to put people places. Heck use Onyx or something to further your needs.

well it's more that cym has...issues. and the issues of the character almost preclude the ability to just kinda toss him in place. I mean I could toss him in lab with onyx..who I haven't played mostly since Az/Lunar stopped since most his stuff was tied into that crew.
not meaning to point fingers or anything, of course. just that I really ain't had a whole lot to work with on onyx.

heh true. he always had and always will have issues. it's that I have a hard time validating him in someplace like lab. sure I can send him after onyx...but it's keeping him around that becomes the thing. cause everyone know he wouldn't leave nailah or rand behind for an extended time, or aura for that matter

Calaclysmic event to solve problems? Make something up through Malik? I don't know, you dug that hole all by yourself and I can't fix that one.

Rand was a poorly thought out character...I don't really like thinking about her anymore.
Personally, I miss Lab. There were a lot of characters that I wanted to play around with, but I can't keep up with the multiple character posts, and the whole RP took a turn that I was not interested in.
Sorry if I blocked you from using Onyx, Shadow. It was never my intention to make something inaccesible.
(OH! BTW, happy belated birthday Frac!)

which turn was that it took? and it'smostly that onyx was all wrapped up in whirliwnd and then as his basic plot area as well as his infactuation with whirlwind.

Honestly? It became too relationship based. Labyrinth started to feel like soft cybering. And at the time, I was having a lot of relationship problems that revolved around sex. It was frustration too see the kinds of things played out in the RP that infuriated me. (And still kinda do)
As humans, we're pretty much programed to see sex in everything. Just as much as we are programed to see faces and phallic images (IE clouds, floor patters, bogus rocks on mars). I felt like I was trying to break this pattern, strive for something with structure, but it also felt like I was in one place and still not moving forward.
Ugh, Whirlwind was another problem. She wasn't supposed to be very smart, which was really hard to RP...I don't think I ever got her right. She normally came off as as a pubescent teen who doesn't even understand the words coming out of her own mouth.

Eh, we had nothing to do after you, Az, and your crew skipped out. Mostly character develop and random chaos. Noah is about to cause some as I hear it.
And humans are icky and humanity is far in the gutter as possible. The sun just won't blow up fast enough to cure it.
And no, no I didn't. Well you know, nice meaning shiny and tech based.
Do cupcakes count?
