^^ Chinchilla, rock on. I'm not big on the rodents in a cage it, but mostly because I know I'd forget to clean their cage often enough confused What'd you call him?
I'd thought about getting a dachshund, think I'm gonna get a corgi though. Well, not any time soon though. Want to own a house before I get a dog.

His name is Xaine and he's only 3 months old. And apparently his favorite hour our of the cage playtime is using me as a climbing tool. He's already very well socialized. And a treat whore who is willing to eat his regular food as a treat, so technically he can have as many as he wants. xd heart
Can't really forget to clean his cage honestly. His cage is HUGE and his fur will go to hell if I don't. I have a new sunday activity while he takes a dust bath I guess.
I'd get my own dog, but I have that house owning problem too.

^^ he sounds adorable. Glad to hear he's got a big cage, it's so criminal the tiny ones they try to pass off at pet stores.
I got my kitty, she's been a good friend. Always seems to know when I'm not feeling great. This morning she slept so close to my face that I dreamt my nose was plugged with cotton.

I would never put him in a tiny cage. Two levels, he's enjoying jumping around and climbing the walls in there and we were actually just demonstrating trust as he ran around on me and already jumps into my hands to get out of his cage. Then my mother freaked him out. The breeder I got him from said he's a clingy one who's a party animal at night. That he is proving to be, indeed.
Lol, kitties are silly. Unfortunately mine is near death's door but he hasn't given up yet. Poor guy can't even jump up on my bed anymore.

That's great! I'd love to see him. Breeder too 'eh? That's impressive. It didn't occur to me to that you could find a chinchilla breeder.
Yeah, Ratchet's just two years old. Raspy meow, drooling problem...she's kind of become mine and Pat's baby. Weird how pets do that.
awe, that's Pharaoh right? How old?

Apparently, it's a popular thing. Better to get them from breeders, I just happened to get lucky and look at the right place at the right time. Pet store chinchillas don't get the people socialization to the degree they should so they're unruly and don't like to be held. Xaine already begs to be let out of his cage so he can sit on me.
He's good lord...fifteen, going sixteen now?

And apparently, 8-9 is the time he wakes up...and barks. How freaking cute.
Yeah, it's just day by day with the cat.

Hi everyone, I have been so bussy this semester at school and with church that I have not been able to RP in a while. sad The only thing I have been able to do is check on my fish and write a little. So I will try to pop in a little but I don't want to mess up the story.

Note to the wise: Chinchillas DO NOT like taking medication if you've tricked them once into it and they do not like the taste of it and you're trying to give it to them again.
Semi-hilarity ensues.

^^ Had to give Ratchet some pills after her surgery. Luckey for me though it's easy to get her mouth open.
What are you giving him meds for?

Cat's are easier, you can put pills in a piece of cheese and they'll eat it.
I took him to the vet for a check up and they saw something a tad weird, so they gave me some antibiotics just in case. Give twice a day, call back the vet in a week.

I can just pop it down her throat actually. My roommates cat though, Daiquiri, couldn't get his mouth open with a crowbar.
Ah well, I hope ti doesn't it turn out to be something big.
