*sigh* Money.

Seriously, I get paid, I pay my bills, I'm broke! How they hell does anyone save up the money to buy a hose or pay for a kid?

I have a cat, that's like a kid...but she only costs like, 20 bucks a month :p.

That's pretty much the way of things. Work, paycheck, bills, broke, repeat. But I'm just as dumbfounded as you on that stuff...I'll be lucky to get the heck out of my parents' upstairs.

At least a full tank of gas is only or under 20 bucks for me again.

Living with roomates helps cut the cost a fair bit.

We live in a fairly nice apartment right now. It's far fro perfect, but ti's the best one I've had so far. We each pay about 360 a month. Not shabby.

My last apartment didn't have a working front door for the entire winter...it was cold.

I coudln't do that. I know maybe...2 people outside the computer. I don't do the social thing in the real world much. it's not good for my mental health.

going to college outside of my home Provence forced me to make friends or go insane.

But now I'm just living with my sister and my boyfriend. Not really all that social, haha.

Can't say that working at home is conducive to making friends either.

Ha, social home recluces for the win!

No...I'm not social either. All my people moved or threw me under the bus.

And I personally want to work at home. I'm a very odd person when at work now. Not odd as if weird, but odd as in surprisingly quiet, and I'm not really quiet.. Mostly because I can't express myself the way I want to...I'm sure I'd get in trouble if I did.

Eh, my parents don't mine. The joke is I'm going to be the one herding them when they're all old and stuff.

To each his own. 3nodding

But I'd rather work in a studio. It's way to easy to procrastinate at home.

Heh, I may procrastinate more in a studio unless I'm alone that is. All I know is that at my studio classes we do more idea and crazy story bouncing than working on projects sometimes.

Well yeah, of course. You're in a CLASS.

But going to a studio every day for work is a bit different. It's your job. You can't sit there and talk with people all day, you have a quota to fill and bills to pay.

BUT, at the end of the day, you can go home and relax. When your at home it's all "Meh, I'll do some work tonight." And then you just don't do that work. It's way easier to get into a work mode when you're not surrounded by luscious distractions.

Eh, far as I'm concerned it's close enough when the professor is working us like we're at a job. Her favorite time is to bog us down with those projects that take forever and only have a little time to do them in. She's just not that 'shut up and slave away' kind of professor either...just head of the computer arts department with very very high standards.

Who is teaching the video class again! crying I'm so sick of video classes...especially hers.

Suppose it's all a personal thing. If I can throw on a pair of headphones and have a comfy chair. I'm good to work for six hours straight with a snack and a pee break thrown in there somewhere. I guess I just don't get that distracted...tv is more moronic everyday and the tablet keeps my hands busy so I'm not thinking about my wonderous videogames.

FYI anyone with an Xbox 360...Lost Odyssey is love.

Oh, it's defiantly all personal preference. People all work diferently.

They only big difference is that you usually get more work and less time than classes. I had 3 months to animate 30 seconds in class, so lets say about 10 seconds a month. Right now, I'm averaging about.....100 seconds a month. (45 to 50 seconds every two weeks, methinks.)

I get terribly distracted here. And I don't even own a working tv! (that is, we use them for movies and games, we don't get cable or nothin')

We're forcing Robin to be a bit more sappy than suits her character.

she can always be more rough and tumble if you want. not like the wolf understands 'sappy'
PostPosted: Wed Jan 14, 2009 6:01 pm

She needs a little sappy to contrast the anger. She'll be back soon.
