Techpriest Enginseer Well you blew that chance. And they say quitters never win! Fierach Nice of y'all to be debating without me. Huh? Who are you? King Bug Anyway, going back to a post I made earlier, if you're bound, then you potentially have 1 or 2 hands bound. You don't have a goddamn anvil or hard and the chains are wrapped around your body making it difficult to get a good angle. Plus you note it would take several swings. They are not completely unbreakable, but logically for the purpose of this tournament and the duration of the ability, they are unbreakable. Plus the freezing effect that is immune to heat/fire. Plus two posts of being unable to do any offensive action, and limited defensive actions. Plus Sigil wanted it to be three posts. OP. as. ********.

So Kb you think I shouldn't have made an attack in the same post as breaking out. I can see that. Although I think turning and throwing it is a fast enough motion.
Still that's what happened. First post snared second breaking out.

The whole problem with striking a chain at all, is that unless its braced against something solid, like stone or steel, there is no way to keep it taut enough to do any real damage.
This is why the easiest way to break a chain is to anchor it to two opposing pulling forces, then cut it with a vice like blade.

Plus also by the way, how are you supposed to anticipate a ********' vortex opening up right underneath you with binding chains coming out without being cheap a** yourself?
That's what I mean by remote grappling. s**t is weak.
KB, you makin' no goddamn sense, boy!

First post snared second breaking out. Yeah. I'd personally have been fine even with him breaking out and being able to defend himself. Offensive from that breaking out occupies a lot of time though, imo. edit: nah dat all good

No way you can see them coming and get away even if you have a rocket in your a**." And the first thing the chain logically grabs is a foot. I mean, the foot is right there on the goddamn ground and all. So, as I said, no way to really stop it without being a cheap a** yourself so one way or another, someone is going to get butthurt about this ability. Seems like a sign that it's not a good ability. So, yeah, it's a good thing this is not your job. You'd suck at it.

It very well can be. People don't respect fire in Role play usually. Which has its positives and negatives. Fire is very deadly. A fire mage shooting fire can be a good or a bad thing depending on how it is done.

I should also point out that Chains of Ice is literally the only form of crowd control she has.
Since noone wants to be hit by an axe (I have, as of now, swung over a dozen times between my two fights and have yet to actually hit once with anything besides like a light scratch) I need something that will ******** keep them still long enough to actually hit for once.
I have all this neat disease mechanics that I'm considering just not even bothering to post anymore for all the good they do me.
