I read... and I am sad. I really like TSW!!! It's one of the two real reasons why I log on every day!!! ... ... Even the thread I made isn't worth losing this one. Although I am fully aware that the two things are completely unrelated, I would kill off my characters in two other roleplays and shut down or put my own on hiatus in a minute if I had to decide between them. That's just how it is.

Kurikins @Sryne - you know how I feel about lazy people. If you want to roleplay, start a thread. If you don't, then I'm going to have to ask you to leave. You're not really contributing anything right now, and as such I can't find any real reason to keep you here if that continues. Although you should know it would pain me greatly to remove you, since you've been with TSW almost since day one. ^_^ I think you're the last one here who has, actually, since Angelina disappeared. Anyway, it's up to you. =) I know, and I understand. I'm sorry for it, but I'm not going to start throwing out reasons/excuses. confused Better to just leave it at that and move on I think. *heads to the members list quickly, remembering what happened to Faana ninja * EDIT: Who's already involved in your TSW thread Kuri? I can't find the list you had.

FYI: My home computer, the only one with net access, might be having hard-drive problems. It could crash. If that happens then my net access will be far more limited as will my appearances.

And did I seriously freak you guys out with what I did to Faana? sweatdrop I didn't do that because I was angry at her or anything, you know. Artemis used to be part of the group too but she left TSW a few days ago. @Haeo - I know how dedicated you are to TSW, and I appreciate it. heart In fact you're the main reason I haven't closed things down already, since I know how much you love the place. And like I said, it's just an idea I'm thinking over. It's not something that's definitely going to happen, it's simply a possibility that I thought I should make you all aware of, so there aren't any nasty surprises in the future. I would love to keep TSW open and have it be a thriving RPG with lots and lots of members in it...but, for some reason and in spite of my best efforts, I can't get people to stay. I don't know why, but ever since we moved into a guild things have just totally died. Unfortunately I think having TSW in a guild is essential to it's continuation, so putting it back into thread form just isn't an option. It's a difficult situation. Damned if I do, damned if I don't, so to speak. But closing the place is going to be one of my last resorts, so don't worry. smile I may just move it off Gaia so I can advertise more freely, or I may close the RPG temporarily, redesign it so it's all pretty and streamlined, and do everything in my power to advertise to other people on Gaia. Or I might do something else completely different. There are lots of other possibilities. Again, don't worry. ^_^ Be happy! (OK so that was a lame song tie-in, but I won't tell if you don't...XD)

Heh, thank you Kurikins! That makes me both relieved and happy. I tried to get other people to come here, very good and very reliable people, but they were up to their necks in other good roleplays and real life issues and couldn't spare the time. cry
... And... about the song... Neither of us will mention this... ever again. stare

No, I wasn't planning on leaving, I just don't want to go giving off reasons/excuses because I sound like I'm whining when I do so... or I sound desperate. Anyways, I just needed to know who was in your group so that I could PM the others to find at least a few interested people to make a new thread. As for the Faana thing, I thought it was pretty cool. I just like to pick on you for it. whee

Like you said Kuri, I've been here since before we actually started roleplaying in the Barton Town thread, and I've seen TSW evolve and change, as have its members.
We've had multiple instances of TSW going completely inactive for very extended periods of time, which got quite discouraging. I love TSW, I wouldn't still be here if I didn't. I've had to go an entire summer waiting for people to post something before, but I still waited it out.
I guess that's just my way of saying I hope you don't close TSW completely and give it a chance to bounce back. I think moving it off of Gaia wouldn't be a bad idea. It's easy to find free phpBB or IP board hosts. I can show you a few good ones if that's the route you'd like to take. I just hope I can continue to participate in TSW. As discouraging as it can get sometimes, I'd miss it.

-TS- Alex That song is just lame. domokun It's one of my favorite songs, actually. *grin* Of course you're welcome to offer your opinion on things, Sryne. smile I agree with you. TSW has been very frustrating and very time consuming, especially for me. I understand perfectly how you guys must feel not being able to post and interact with other members, but for me it's even worse because I'm putting in a lot of intellectual effort and basically getting zero return. Now, things have obviously looked up and I am enjoying the thread I'm in with Haeo & Alex right now, but as a singularly self-centered person I often find myself questioning whether or not I'm investing my time wisely. I would welcome any suggestions you have as to different types of forums I can use. My only request is that they not be BBCode boards (or, if they do support BBCode, at least make sure that they also support HTML), and that they not be EZBoards. Trust me, I used to be part of the wolf roleplaying community--I have had enough of EZWhore to last me a lifetime. Gah. sweatdrop You can PM me the links or just post them here, whichever you find more convenient. smile That's OK, Haeo. smile I appreciate you trying! I've done the same thing but schoolwork buries most of my friends.
