“It seems to me,” Lorathin retorted to the words directed at him, a smug smirk pulling over his face, “that that mouse was stronger than the lions.”
The demon’s nose pulled up in a snarl at Kirin’s light bulb comment. “At least I have them, unlike some,” he muttered beneath his breath.
“Fantastic,” Agrona purred as Kirin stated they were at the correct place. “Your assistance has been much appreciated.”
She followed behind him, each step graceful as she moved behind Kirin, his fist pounding upon the door.
“If you have business elsewhere, I am sure we can manage from here.” Agrona looked to Kirin, her expression unreadable.
The rattle of the handle sounded from the door, drawing Agrona’s attention. She watched as the door swung inward to reveal a woman with her head turned to look down the hall behind her, her brown hair cut short in the front and growing long in the back.
“What can I—” The woman’s words cut off as she caught sight of her company. Her face grew pale as her icy blue eyes settled on Agrona, the woman’s breath catching in her throat. Unintelligible sounds escaped her mouth before she swallowed and managed in a small, disbelieving voice, “Agrona.”
“It has been a while, Carissa.” Agrona offered as friendly of a smile as her face was capable of mustering.
“Y-yes,” Carissa stuttered, her hand moving to the wall on her right to steady herself, “it has. Who’s your friend?” she turned her gaze almost reluctantly to Kirin. “You look vaguely familiar.”____________________________________________________________ ((Um… Rikku, the “caressing the girls check and kissing her gently on the lips” bit is a little disturbing to me. Just saying, and I mean absolutely no offence. Felt like I should throw that out there. Also, does the black butterfly stay, or does it disappear with Willow?)) Vanessa watched as Plushy and Willow conversed, every muscle in her body yelling at her to attack the woman who had destroyed the now restored school and threatened the lives of her, Karinda, Plushy, and the rest of those who had once gone to school expecting to find only safety.
Saiirin growled from near Karinda’s feet. Karinda! she pleaded, her claws digging into the dirt as she itched to maul the woman standing weightlessly upon Karinda’s sword.
Stay as you are, Saiirin, Karinda commanded silently. Hatred burned in her eyes as she watched Willow walk along her blade, her helplessness driving her to near insanity as she struggled against the black strands to no avail.
Her snarl increased as the woman dared to touch her cheek, a choking sound rising from her as the woman moved her lips to Karinda’s.
When the woman disappeared and she could once again move, she spat on the ground and wiped at her mouth as if trying to wash away a deadly poison.
“I swear upon my parents' grave,” Karinda muttered, glaring darkly at the spot where Willow had disappeared, “I shall have thy head before my life doth expire!”

((the butterfly stays, its a curse willow has put on her, don't worry it doesnt activate for a while, and the touching/kissing is how the curse is placed, also willow is a lesbian so. well, try to get used to it, it never goes past a kiss, its her way of teasing people, i wont do it to your character too much if it really upsets you tho i don't see why it should <3 ))

Plushy
with the neat looking lady (willow) gone, Plushy had questions to answer. Plushy put his tail in front of him and curled up the end of it, and set it flat on the ground like a rug.
"You can go back to the library Vanessa, Plushy has a story to tell the dragon rider and her dragon." Plushy said to Vanessa. He had not yet got their names, so he called them by their titles.
"Sit, and listen to Plushy's story. Plushy must have you comfy when you listen to his story. Plushy tail is soft, and easy to sit on, and it big enough for both of you to sit on it." he said to Karinda and Saiirin.
((sorry about the spelling "comfy", im pertty sure its wrong...))

Kirin chuckled a bit at Lorathin's retort and shrugged. "only a fool refers to himself as a rodent" he replied, leaving it at that. "yes so many are born without their sight, yet those who have it waste it looking upon the world with contempt." he replied, not even looking back at him this time. "I'm glad I could be of assistance Agrona..." he said, looking for a moment as though he were going to say something, but he closed his mouth and stopped himself. "sorry, but you'll understand if I'd like to be present when something of this magnitude happens in my city" he said, honestly not ready to leave her side, but the best interests of the town was a good enough excuse. He watched as the humble looking woman answered the door only to stop her greeting short as she noticed Agrona. Her expression upon seeing the woman wasn't warm nor happy, which he understood, not many really appreciated Agrona's true grace, that or he was simply blinded to the horrors her visage entailed. When the woman turned her attention to him he gave a small bow of his head. "I am Kirin, lord of the manor" he said, "lord of the manor" being what most people in the city refered to him as. "and for better or worse I am the one who has lead Agrona to your door. Put yourself at ease, you are in no danger. You are a resident of my city and I will let no harm befall you" he said, both to calm the woman's nerves, and as a warning to Agrona not to try anything. He had enough on his concious, he didn't need this woman coming under harm because of his actions on it as well. ((yeah, if you ban homosexuality in the roleplay im gona leave out of offence, im a gay man in real life so you will just have to get used to it, its 2013, to be fair there is not a good reason to be uncomfortable about it anymore, its a perfectly acceptable way of life now.))

((i dont think she do that, we no problem with homosexuality...but gaia ToS rules say we must keep things PG 13. scath na hoiche's "little disturbing" means you is getting too close to braking gaia ToS rules, and it worrys her...it worrys me too some, if the mods ban you for braking ToS, then you wont be here to RP any more...))

((Me know it all, that is one instance where the word "we" is incorrectly used. It implies that both you and I think that way, and that statement proves to be false. No matter the year, for Christians there is always a reason to be uncomfortable about homosexuality. It is not an acceptable way of life for those who truly know Christ and I do not "just have to get used to it." Now, when I first read everything, I was just going to request that Rikku Wood refrain from doing so to my character, as he so suggested—when I got the time, that is. However, after a good week’s worth of classes and hearing that we, as Christians, should not conform to the world and its ways (the topic of homosexuality never coming directly into play, I might add), must hold strong to our beliefs, and use our talents for the glory of God, I feel that I must stand up for my beliefs. I have nothing against the people who claim to be homo, gay, or whatever else there is. I have family and friends who claim such titles, and I enjoy hanging out with them. I am against the acts that are done in such relationships, and, if standing up for that means the death of this roleplay, then so be it. The world is a dark place, and I refuse to conform to its ungodly ways. Though I cannot avoid the world's poison, I can choose to not drink from the bottle. Pdragon, you say that you will quit out of principal, and it is out of principal that I do this. It has been fun roleplaying with all of you. Thanks. ((Did the roleplay just end because of someone's character being a homosexual? OTL
From what I read, Scath did not at first ban homosexuality, just asked that any homosexual acts not be done to her character. I don't see why that should be a problem. It's one person, with one simple request. It doesn't seem to me like a request that would interfere with the progress of the roleplay.
Rikku, you accepted her request, and I think that's great. You've gained respect from me because of that. But I don't believe any one should "have to get used to" anything. What is considered acceptable to one person may not be to another, and that's why we're all taught to respect people's opinions and still get along with them. People who do not support homosexuality and those who do should receive equal respect.
pdragon, as I stated before, Scath never banned homosexuality at first, she only asked that it doesn't involve her character.
me know it all, thank you for the reminder. I don't want anyone being banned from roleplaying because of Gaia ToS either.
All I just read was Scath making a simple request, and then it turned into people threatening to leave because of a ban she never said would happen, and then almost everyone got (excuse the phrase) butt-hurt about it, and then the ban/end of roleplay came. I know I'm not online as often as everyone else, but I sincerely hope this roleplay isn't ending because of this. I really thought everyone was going be entirely reasonable when I started reading. If the world can survive with these differences I'm sure a few people on the internet should be able to do much better.
As much as it hurts to see it happen, just in case this is definitely the end, I need to say great enjoyment has come to me from this roleplay. It has helped me grow as a roleplayer, and as a writer. (I'm not a very good writer. ^^; ) I'd be glad to rp with any of you again. Thank you all. <3 ))

(I didn't say she did, I said if she did I would quit, and I never did, as you can clearly see I was the last person to post, therefore my lack of posting wasn't out of protest, but because I literally could not post. If she simply restated that she just didn't want her character involved and that everything would be fine than that would have been the end of it. That's not what she did. She claimed Homosexuality was not an acceptable way of life, called it ungodly, and even compared it to poison, and then ended the rp herself. I made one statement saying that I would have to quit out of principal, no more no less, if you honestly consider this a "but hurt threat" then perhaps you shouldn't be the one preaching about respecting others' opinions. You can't call for respect while disproportionally demonizing everyone and acting high and mighty about it.)

OTL I wasn't trying to demonize everyone, and I really don't like sounding like the high and mighty type, but now that you've pointed it out, I can see that I did, so I'm sorry. And I'm glad you told me. I really am. I'm not just saying that to try and get off the hook or whatever. I was upset, so I suppose I didn't read through everyone's posts well enough. I hope you'll accept my apology.
I really want to try and stay on good terms with everyone, even though maybe it doesn't seem like it thanks to my clear lack of communication skills. Not only do I prefer to avoid conflict, but as I said before, I enjoyed being part of this role play and it would be great to role play with any of you again in the future.))

IF anyone is stopping.... plushy was also waiting for someone to post "therefore my lack of posting wasn't out of protest, but because I literally could not post." killing the RP because their are gay characters in it seams a bit much, the characters them selfs arnt braking ToS PG13 rules, and they cant do anything sexually immoral with out braking ToS...... you cant do anything sexually moral eather with out braking ToS, so just having them called gay should be safe....)) (sorry about the "we", you seam to be over reacting to this (that my job) and are having more of a problem with it...plushy didnt get to tell his story gonk )

((I refuse to stop my character from acting the way she does as she is from a book I wrote that is very near and dear to me however I will stop from doing it to you character even though you have heavily insulted me with what you have said about gay relationships, I am a gay man myself so please refrain from being insulting and close minded when talking to me, that is all. also just a side not hun, I don't mind you having your owns views on homosexuality after all a lot of people are still against it, but if you even try going all christian quote man on me and 'state' that homosexual relations is 'wrong' then I will leave this roleplay, that is all. Sorry to sound harsh but being gay, I take 'statements' as a huge insult. this conversation is done. Back to the roleplay))
