"I heard you say something about them leaving people be that are in cryo sleep. Any idea if they have any special weakness to cold?"

Ukaia shook her head slightly and shrugged,
"I don't know about weakness to it. They just haven't bothered anyone in cryo that I can tell " she said to her and then she paused remembering
"I do remember somone saying, when it first started, they tried to space one section. They did a rapid decompression of several of these. things.. But it seems like the cold of space didn't effect them "she said.
"If I remmeber right, they just kept coming after them trying to get at them." she said shaking her head a bit

Aeron frowns. "Well, there goes that idea then. What about the planet? Do you know what's down there, if it's habitable and free of those...things?" She hears Mio's muttering, though she couldn't understand it. "Something wrong Mio?"

"I don't know" She said to her with a small sigh. She was pretty much usless for actuall information on what had been happening before the chaos took place. And all she was good for now was how to kill them and how to keep out of harms way sort of.
"I'm not even sure how they move. I've been lucky so far not to usually have to deal with more then one or two at a time." she admited quietly as she rubbed her temple. It hurt.
"I wasn't really paying to much attention to what they were doing. I was just here for a bit of an extra paycheck. Heh.. I was supposed to be on leave a week ago. My birthday was last week" she chuckled quietly and sighed. Her parents probly thought she was dead..

Aurora sighs, mouth closed and a muscle in her jawtwitching a bit. She was frustrated but she wasn't about to take it out on anyone. Namida wasn't to blame, nor was Boda. "Thank you Mrs. Namida. Get some food and some rest. I have other business to attend to." Aurora gets up and heads out of the galley to go make her report. So they were no better off than they were before. Neither of the two had been able to give them much more 9information than they had already. She gets to the brifge and opens a communication link back to the G.R.S. "This is 1st Lieutenant Aurora Engeddes reporting in. Do you read?"

"Please just call me Gin, it's much easier that way " she said. Then she sighed. Her ears lowered alittle bit as she realized really how usless she'd been in helping.
"I'm sorry " she said to her. The only thing she really could say. Gin rubbed her eyes tiredly. Could she really get some real rest right now? Was she safe enough on the ship here to let her guard down. her body demanded it. So she didn't have really much of a choice. With the warm soup in her belly and the sandwich soon following. She was slowly having trouble keeping her eyes open just sitting at the table still. It had been nearly four weeks since she'd gottena good night sleep afterall. Her head nodded a bit. Much more and she'd just lay her head down right there and sleep at the table.

"Be with you in a moment, cap'n," he replies to her. No matter which way he looked at it, Mio couldn't change the fact that they were pretty well screwed unless they could find a rather crucial component to the star drive that had been damaged in the crash.
When Aurora comes up to the, he interjects before she opens the line back to the G.R.S., "Uh, cap'n, we won't be going anywhere unless we can find a replacement for the star drive's Kolvanski quantum converter. Without it, we've got basic impulse, but even that will be unreliable and won't get us very far."

Boda saw the commander leave and walked over by Gin. "Hey, what's got you down?" Boda asked taking a seat across from her. Boda knew that she must be going through some terrible shock, something Boda had gone through many years ago when he first experienced heavy combat.
"Don't answer that. Here's a better question, what's gotten to you physically?"

Mio grumbles a little at having to wait and instead strengthens the link to G.R.S. to make sure the connection remained steady.
"Roger that, Liuetenant. This is Captain Peyton, what's your status?" comes the crisp male voice of the commanding officer.

"We've made it to the space station in piece, Sir. But...well...things are...strange, Sir." Waiting for approval to go on, she would launch into an explanation of everything that had happened. "We're trying to conduct research and gather whatever information we can to figure out where these things came from and the most effective means we have of stopping them. I'm considering scouting the planet to see if it might make a suitable place to encamp while we do so."

Gin sighed and then she blinked jerking her head up when she was spoken to. She rubbed her eyes tiredly and stiffled a yawn.
"I wasn't of much use. I know how to kill them but when it comes to where they came from and anything else.. "s he made a buzz sound
"Usless. I wasn't brought here to help with research. i was jsut brought here to help aleviate the main doctors "s he yawned a bit and rubbed her eyes again. tired.. very very tired.
"Heh.. n i've had to kill a bunch of the people i was helping before " she mubmeld tiredly

Boda nodded his head. He felt a little sad for her but it was in the past now, there was nothing anyone could do to change what happened. "On your feet, let's find a place for you to rest. Either I or someone else will wake you if we need you."
Boda stood up and stood near the door, waiting for Gin.
