Dusk sat on my forehead and looked down at me. She almost seemed to be mesmerized. "The cat seems to like my eyes or something." She staring at me in the manner as if she were totally absorbed.

Lee picked up Midnight and whispered something into his ear. He nodded and jumped out of her arms. he stood in front of Alex and wagged his tail."Mew" He jumped and landed on his head

I smiled at them. It was nice not to have to worry about anything. I can't remember the last time I felt this relaxed. Dusk curled under my chin and was asleep before I could move her and I didn't have the heart to wake her up.
