Dragoneyes took a step back also, her eyes on Lightpaw, to see what she would do. "Go on Lightpaw," she said softly.
Dragoneyes shook her head. WindClan really did need more warriors, and these apprentices were the best in moons. They would make amazing warriors.

Lightface nodded. "Good. We'll be able to cary more now." She quickly ran to her favorite cobweb place, and picked up a wad in her mouth, but dropped it quickly. "Spider.." She flicked it off, and sqished it quickly with her paw. She picked the cobweb up carefully, then went to go get catmint.

((i am truly full heartedly and sincerely sorry you guys....i havent been posting as much as usual...I'm not gonna give you a sob story i've just had alot going on lately. I will so my best to keep up and not cause problems for you... xD again so sorry))
Lightpaw grinned at her friend and lifted her nose into the air. The rabbit scent was so strong she could pretty much pinpoint exactly where it was only a couple of foxlengths away. Her eyes got wide. She nodded to Dragoneyes as she crouched into a predatory position. Her senses became more alert and she was completely focused on her prey. She crept forward....perfectly balanced...perfectly poised...not making a sound. She picked up her pace but stayed silent as she swiftly leaped and killed the rabbit without so much as a hairlength of warning. She brought it back to her original spot and dropped it. Her expression went back to normal and she smiled at Hazelpaw. Being out here with her friend felt nice. Hazelpaw rarely got any opportunities like this because she still had no mentor. But that didn't matter. Hazelpaw was just as good a warrior as Lightpaw and she deserved to be a warrior just as equally. They both had done so much for the clan and Hazelpaw had done plenty to show the true warrior inside her. Even without a mentor. She purred quietly and nudged her friend gently.

Hawkpaw sniffed the ground for catmint. "Is this catmint?"asked Hawkpaw sniffing a clump of leafy plants.

Lightface nodded. "Good! That's catmint, just try not to chew it while we go get some yarrow." She tried to speak clearly, but she was certain it came out muffled.

Dragoneyes nodded happily at Lightpaw. "Very good!" She turned to look at Hazelpaw. "Next one is yours, okay?"
Looking around, Dragoneyes saw no prey. "We best move on, I don't think we'll find anything here. Lightpaw, don't forget to bury your rabbit. And don't forget where you buried it either."

Smallstar sighed and watched them go. While they were gone, he swatted lightly at a bug that dared to fly out during leaf-bare. Was there nothing else that he could do?

Lightface flicked her tail, and went to go find some yarrow. "Come on, Hawkpaw." She smelled the yarrow, and ran over. "Now, Hawkpaw, I'll carry these leaves, but in the future when you get them, do not swallow any. They'll make you throw up, and mess up any of the herbs you're carrying right then." She laughed, almost dropping the herbs. "I remember doing that as an apprentice. Apparantly, cats do not like herbs that are covered in cat bile."

Hawkpaw purred loudly, as he dared not open his mouth. He couldn't believe that his mentor had done such a stupid thing.

Lightaw looked up again and nodded. She quickly dug a hole and placed the rabbit inside. She put a good layer of dirt over it to muffle out the smell incase any other predators were attracted to the smell of freshkill. She looked around and memorized the landscape. And placed a rock on the spot where she buried her catch. That way she wouldn't have to waste time digging holes in fruitless attempts to find her prey. She lifted her head when she was done and followed behind the other two to find a new spot. Hopefully there would be some more prey left.

Hazelpaw purred happily as she watched her friend come back with her prey. Someday, she would be able to do that. But probably not today. It would take her time... and a mentor. She sat in silence for a few moments, trying to remember every movement Lightpaw made while catching her prey. Soon she would get it memorized, and it would feel normal to her to go hunt for her clan.

Smallstar looked up as the medicine cats walked back into the camp. "That didn't take too long," he said. He would have expected it to be harder to find herbs in leaf-bare.

((xD I'm real sorry. My last rp with Warriors had Dragoneyes as leader! I've had to fix it so many times.... And as for the Hawkpaw thing, I suppose I was tired when I posted that time. <3))
Dragoneyes looked around and saw no rabbits, but she wanted to see if either of the two apprentices had seen anything she hadn't. "Hazelpaw, do you see any prey around here?" She glanced over at Lightpaw. "If Hazelpaw, doesn't see anything, you can look Lightpaw."
