Haru winced at the searing pain in her arm, but she pressed on, seeing the pain as motivation to destroy its cause. She grabbed onto Kanna's left wrist, pulling her away and tried to swing her body downwards and into the water. More deep scratches appeared on her torso and legs.

"No time to waste. Hopefully this won't take as long as last time."

The rush of adrenaline helped her quickly channel chakra to her eyes to activate the second stage of the Kurogan. This however caused her to lose her footing and sink. Keeping a firm grip as she sank, Haru knew she could use the water to her advantage. A jolt of electricity more powerful than before transfered from Haru's body to Kanna's. The effects would be like putting a toaster in the bathtub. Maybe Kanna would be stunned and a big fish would come to finish her off. They probably smelled the blood and would be arriving shortly.

Haru swam quickly to the surface, gasping for air. She could clearly see Kanna's chakra glowing from inside the giant fish. Retreating to the other side of the arena, Haru used her lightning chakra to cauterize her wounds. Though it damaged the tissue, it would stop the bleeding and prevent her from going into shock. She peered anxiously into the water. All she could do at this point was wait.

"We will give her time, Himo. You forget, I can still see her perfectly, as can Haru. She is not dead yet. And from what it looks like, her body is going through some radical change. Something make her neural pathways go haywire."

Shukoshu said nothing to the Raikage but took the pouch anyway and went out to survey his beloveds match. He went to the railing and placed his hands on it, only to find Kanna was no where in sight. This angered him tremendously. He gripped the metal, nearly crushing it. Kanna-Chan... Where the ******** are you?! he glared at Haru's direction. Her.....

Out of the corner of her eyes, she noticed a man she knew to be Kanna's mate staring angrily at her. She turned her head in his direction and made eye contact, smirking at him. Haru braced herself for the mass of dark chakra now barreling towards her. It gave her a sort of satisfaction knowing that Kanna had to activate the curse seal to defeat her. When her opponent came within range, Haru charged a massive amount of chakra into her fists and attacked with 128 electrically charged precision strikes. "Dendou Hyakunijuuhachishou!"

"Huh. So much for that. Figured as much."

Haru stood her ground, a kunai in each hand, watching for any indication of attack. She channeled lightning chakra into the kunai and bared her teeth defiantly at her opponent. Time was passing noticeably slower than usual. Unlike the last time she activated the second level, Haru was fully aware of her surroundings. Her perception was heightened immensely, though her body was not yet trained to move as quickly.

Kanna snapped her fangs since she could tell there was that damned lightning chakra in the air. A predator was not stupid, injuring yourself for your prey was stupid.
Leaping back a distance Kanna spread her arms open and then slashed at the air. She had done it before during the exams but this time she knew that Haru could see it, she wasn't aimed at her. The Flying claws created two vaccums around the energy her claw slashes, extending them a massive distance.
Kanna settled back down on all fours as the ceiling above them cracked and large sections began to crumble down to the water.

"Who said I wanted your opinion?" Shukoshu snapped at him angrily. He wasn't concerned about Kanna's well-being, as he knew his mate could take care of herself. But, their children was an entirely different story. Other than their mother, he was the only one to protect them. And he was not allowed to interfere. And he would be damned if his pups were threatened again. He looked back at the medical tent which did house Karu. "Feh." He began to walk back to the contestant box.

Ganjou smirked. "Haru is fighting well, but I am afraid she will not succeed. Her chakra is almost gone, and Kanna's abilities have been multiplied to such a high extent. Orochimaru, I hope you knew what you were doing by giving such an animal access to power that brings out primal fury and power. I am going to call this match before Haru gets really hurt, but not just yet. Haru has some fight left in her." His Kurogan looked at Kanna, seeing into her body and all her neural and synaptic pathways. Her body's electrical impulses were moving around off the chart, but her mind was operating at half capacity. "It seems she has abandoned rational thought."
