Cole Eastcott Sorry I snoozed off there for a bit ladies and gents! ^^; Rose, go for it. WoT ftw. TJ... don't knock HP if you haven't read it. Even then, don't knock it. They're a book series that made millions of children worldwide get into reading, they've revolutionized reading in elementary and middle schools in ways that are and can only be positive. If you haven't read it, I suggest you try. If you have, consider that its done far more good for the world than the vast majority of other things you dislike. It's made many children religiously addicted to it and had people at my high school worshipping it...... no it was not good. I've read the pieces of the book people talk about. The writing isn't mind blowing and the plot is just so...... predictable because of its nature. KB says it pretty well, if directly.

Wheel of Time has wars and death and such, but it also mixes everything together into a nice blend. It's a bit long, but some of the characters really grow on you and make it worthwhile.

If you want fantasy with lots of death and people taking it hard like they do in real life, WoT is for you! If you have massive amount of description, so vivid you feel like everything is happening around you? Wot is for you. If you just want a damn good series. WoT is for you. ^_^

Nanashi Rose Mmm, well seeing that is directed towards children and not adults... that does mean that there's not too much killing and such. If you want fights, read Sword of Truth or Wheel of Time. That reminds me of another reason I hated the LOTR movies.... the fighting was so incredibly badly thought up and done on screen...... The battles between the giant monsters and the megazord in the original power rangers was more interesting.... and that often involved five minutes of screen time being devoted to the growing and transformation sequence followed by one super move to destroy the monster. Yes it was that bad, geez

Hah, WoT's got nothing when it comes to character death.
Go pick up Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. >_> Yeah... well, lets just say I'm still kinda confused who the main character is.

That's what I love about it. I've almost cried a few times when people die, or something sad happens. Or when people don't get together when I think they should...Grr...I get too into books and anime sometimes. ^_^;

Mhmm, so what parts of it is sooo predictable?
KB - Yesh, that's why I love it. It is drawn out and long in parts, but I love long books...so I can enjoy them longer..and as you said, the characters really grow on you.
Back to TJ... So what kind of movies do you like? Seeing you hate fantasy and any type of good writing and actors, you must like those horribly cheesymovies that take only a few hundred dollars to make. Let me guess, you also hated PoTc, because it was so over the top, am I right?

OMG, that scence was awesome. Or when he killed that one big badie with Hell Fire...or what is that called, I don't remember exactly now. And I so understand what you mean about getting attached and sad when they don't get together...though that..whatever you call it of the four people...whoa...that's confusing. XD
Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin...never heard of it. What's it about?

And obviously now you're just taking it too personally, since you're laying false charges against me so I should probably just refrain from answering anyway. KB: Never really got to see all of the original godzilla movies..... I can't be sure which ones I have and haven't seen anyway.

Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin...never heard of it. What's it about? Balefire. And Rand took out Rahvin and Sammael with that, so who are you thinking about? Sammael he took out in...damn...cant remember the name...the dead city of ghosts...Rahvin he took out in the Tel aran rhiod version of the palace in Camlyn. And I am so giving away important parts of the plot!

Another good series that is... grim, gorey, and full of fear and death is The Dark Tower by Stephen King. O_o;;; I still can't bring myself to finish it, its just a little too creepy.

ninja White text time!!! Do not read this following text, if you have not read the WoT Series...
Mk, I was talking about, Rahvin in the dream place of Camlyn...that was so awesome!!! I love how balefire works though, it's like...they never existed, or so it says..which makes me think and wonder...why doesn't it like when people die, those that they've effected within the time it says it goes back to and takes them out, come back and they never effected them? o.o Or did that come out as gibberish? XP
