He's been stewing for a little over a year, albeit not exactly for an RP....and the original character was much shorter and a techno geek.

Certainly. Pretty much nothing I come up with stays in the same...um...thing. :p
Although I still plan to to use the other character, the base story just needs a little work. Right now it's a bit too dark.

I don't like the word angst. People have forgotten that it's short for 'anxiety' and have associated it with some super-emo depression thing.
Agreed, real-life hardship is not happy-go-lucky-fun-time.

Hooray for not being one of those people. Angst does not equal emo crap.
And no it's not. My muscles had just started relaxing from stress..and then stuff goes down and it's not even about be...and my neck/shoulders/jaw are all tightened right back up.
