Tarathiel had the hippogriff deposit him in Stonekeep, where he found Meilikki sitting in the chair staring at a stone. "Well, that didn't go well. I did little damage to the Lich and my sister is still alive, maybe." He looked about the room, "Yes, she is." The drow sat across from the Oracle, his flaming shield long dispelled, and his wounds alread looking like they were begining to heal. He would have appeared to be quite the wreak to Meilikki if she could see. A slight blessing.
"Well, at least I am somewhat more aware of what The Lich can do." He yawned, "ANd I am certain of his location. And good news, I got me another wizard, one with a punch like Orko, and two average drow fighters." Tarathiel chuckled, "I'll be right back, I am just going to deploy these assets were they can do me the most good and remain unknown by Malik until his sword rips the information from the bottom of my mind." He stood up and left the room, and the keep for a few minutes then returned.
"Well, I have good news and bad news."
"Good news, Vierna isn't going to want to see me for a while, hopefully your lifetime."
"The Bad news, Vierna doesn't want to see me so I am going to have to actually go and get a few more legions to continue what I started, or let Malik do it." He paused, his mother would not be pleased with the slaughter of two legions and no gain. "Ouch, Maybe I wont go home for a while."

Her eyes narrowed. She waited until the necromancer had delivered his report and then said coldly, "Prostitution is nothing but desperation and I didn't say that all women were completely balanced and stable. Some crave sex and pleasure just as much as a man does. Of course these women either hide their flaw or are sacrificed but that's a completely different matter, now isn't it?" Tarathiel, this name that Piper had spoken to her came up yet again. And apparentely another of her kind as well. She did get a bit miffed when he spoke of the clerics power like it was nothing. "What makes you paint priestesses in such a weak light?"

She rolled that stone in her fongers, unwilling to put it down, lest she find it ou of her oucha nd in another obscure place that bothered her. She nodded as he spoke, agreeing that it was good news. She sighed a bit. "My lifetime is short compared to you're sisters. It may not be all that long."
She shook her head. "I also have bad news. I cannot see a dman thing, related to this. And my ancestors cannot give me any information. The Earth Mother is now unwilling to provide any further assistance, since she interfeared enough with the world of the living by blessing that sword." She fingered the torn edges of her dress. "I am, in every sesne fo the word, in the dark."

"I don't. but the being they were facing is a Liched Demi-god who was studying magic in all forms in both life and death. and no priestess, no matter how powerful, coudl hope to out of hand face or destroy such a being."
He waved the necromancer away.
"We have very little real knowledge of the enemy. a two legions of troops, and a single cleric..even for offense as well as healing, was foolish. I have weapon capable of serious harm to him, but it has to hit him first. and I still don't know his plans or reason with these soulless beings he sells as slave fodder."

"Wait... Does this mean we both don't know what I am going to do... Now I am scared." Tarathiel said with a rather haughty serious tone, "Meilikki, Have I asked you what was going to happen with anything I have done to deal with the lich? Seeing the future is only a temporary reprieve for the present, and cannot truly effect the outcome, unless the future can be changed in which case what you are seeing is a lie. And if all you see is lies, you must be drow."

"Liched Demi-god...." He was right. There was almost no chance for a priestess to stand up to that kind of power and defeat it. Especially if said demi was studying all forms of magic. "So you do have an enemy. While I find that usnurprising for obvious reasons, just why is he your enemy? And what you do intend to do about him?" Was Zahara out of the loop? Yes. She was and it really wasn't her fault, seeing as she'd just now come to live here, even though it was temporary and had been ensconced in a Llothian city for the previous years. Soulless slave fodder...that sounded cruel. Undeniably cruel but then...no cruel.

"Indeed, it is very frightening." She rubbed at ehr eyes as if they were sore. "NO, you haven't asked. That is not how I see the future. I see the paths available to us, and try to accuratly predict which paths will be walked down. But in regards to the lich, I see nothing. Not a blip, not s smudge, not a path, like running into a very solid wall."

"Ay, I know what it is like to come up against a wall you cannot break down. They are made from some type of Force, and they are industructable to all none magical attacks, and even then they can only be destroyed by the Unstopable train and a Greater Dispelling." Tarathiel said in all seriousness, refering to a wizard spell he loathed but actually used to his own benefit on a regular basis.
"So, you can still see the future in other areas... Like... When will the flowers bloom so beautifully that only your fair complection can diminish their song?"

"I'm not used to walls. It's difficult being utterly blind. Surly the only time I've really felt blind."
"Yes, I can se..." she blushed, turning her face towards the fire. "You flatter me." As i she didn't believe herself that fair to look apon.
"Three days." She siad, "they will bloom in three days."

The drow placed a hand on Meilikki's shoulder, careful to make sure that his gauntlet didn't impale her or anything. He smiled but didn't say anything, which was odd because Tarathiel liked the sound of his own voice.

"He is my enemy because his actions threaten my home. from what we gather he wasn't to remake the world, so to speak, as an undead eden. this I cannot allow, adn thus he is my enemy. and I intend to either destory him, in incapacitate his ability to do so."

She turned her eyes on him and smiled back, although she as curious for the lack of response. A long day this had been, and still she was running without any sleep, how long before her body just...gave out on her? Perhaps it was time to force some sleep on herself. Or maybe not....

The drow raised his head to look into Meilikki's orbs, and sighed softly. "I failed."

"That makes sense I suppose." She shook her head, "I wish you luck in it only because if he threatens your home he threatens me and I have no wish to escape death at the hands of sacrifice to end up dying here. But if you're defeated instead that works for me." She shrugged and really didn't want to continue their conversation. She slipped off the counter and said, "If you think it's wise go find Piper, or don't. But I think I've talked to you for quite logn enough. I have more important things to do." And with that she glided out of the kitchen and headed back upstairs to stare blindly into space and think things.
