*Catching sight of him, she grinned, jumped down from the wagon, and ran over to him. Just in case he hadn't seen her, she tapped his shoulder and held out the flag.*

*Turning Suddenly*
"O' Lord! You Gave Me Such A Start!"
*Setting his eyes upon the Crimson Red Package that she held within her hands, the Captain smiled and nodded*
"If you wouldn't mind, lass... why don't you hold on to it until we reach the Citadel. We've a job ahead of us."
*Turning to look over his shoulder, Kurisutofa set a firm gaze upon the heights of the ridge where the Citadel stood ominiously. Turning and out reaching his hand to the young girl...*
"Come on... let's go." ((Miss Destiny:- "If you'd like to join us, feel free to catch up with us."))

*She nodded (because of course if wouldn't matter if she said anything- he couldn't hear), put the flag under her arm to better hold onto it, and took his hand, smiling. These really were good people.*

*Taking her hand, the Captain turned and began to head up the hill towards their final destination, the Citadel, the Grand Fortress of Toulon.*

Figuring that the doctor would find somebody else to drive the wagon, Destiny followed Omi and the Captain, randomly pausing to pick up some booty off the dead soldiers.

Dr. Morgan, who was by then on the outskirts of the city and headed down the coast, seemed rather agitated and appeared to be bickering with the bizzare multicolored cat perched atop his head.
"Look 'ere, if'n there were still two o' ye, I'd 'ave sen' one off tae Wilson. Seein' as ye pulled this 'ere magical wha'e'er th' 'ell ye did, I 'ad nae choice bu' tae take ye wit' me. Nae stop frettin'- th' lad I sen' will be able tae fin' 'is way, an' tha' gold coin will nae doub' give 'im th' courage 'e needs. nae tae mention th' fac' tha' I knae 'is name."
The man and his cat, which periodically changed color from black to white, continued along the coast towards a small fishing village a few miles from Toulon. From a distance, it was clear that the town's harbor held more than just fishing vessels. A taller mast swayed over the flotilla of boats, proudly flying Saint Andrew's Cross on it's field of blue.

((Why not at all. Feel more than welcome to bring the Rescue into the Roleplay. I'd be honoured. Just bring her around to the Portside of the Lady, and I'll have my crew await your mooring lines. Once you toss them to the Crew, they'll tie your Sloop up along side and run a gangplank across. Your Ship's presence will assit Doctor Baxter indefinitley.))

Destiny slunk along behind the Captain and Omi, slipping from shadow to shadow, her daggers ever at the ready should anyone attempt to jump the pirate Captain. Just as the Captain and Omi stepped out to cross an alleyway, a figure in red stepped out and raised a rifle to take a point blank shot a the two pirates. Quickly stepping around and pushing them both down to the ground. At the same time, Destiny drew both her throwing daggers into her hands. With a quick flick of the wrist, both daggers hit the man's throat, and his bullet went towards the heavens, instead of into the Captain's chest. After a quick roll to dodge a possible bullet, Destiny went over to the now deceased redcoat, puller her daggers out, and wiped the dry on the dead soldier's coat. She helped them up, and with a sweeping bow in the direction they were heading, motioned for them to continue.

*stirring from her slumber, Jaden awakens slowly and grogily. It takes her a while to recollect and remember why she's sitting aboard a ship. Slowly remembering, she attemps, failing, to rub her ears. *
"Why does everything sound so muffled and why can't I reach her ears," she tried to remember as she tried miserably to dislodge the wadding within them.
"Oh yes... the Siren" she whispered, looking upon Miss Ares who had done much what she had, fallen asleep from wear and tear. The Siren had attempted to dress the wounds of the wounded now aboard the ship since she was last awake.
*Jaden got up slowly, her head now aching from the damage to her ears. Why didn't she feel this before? She shirked it off a bit, wincing a little as she moved slowly to Ares. This woman was far more worse for wear than she was, yet she had taken the time to not only care of her comrades, but also assisted her with cleaning the blood from her neck and face and put the wadding in her ears before she passed out. She looked around a little bit for a spare piece of clothing as she reached Miss Ares. Scanning the deck a moment. a few garments from some of the wounded were strewn between their bodies. She found a torn shirt and a redcoat's frock laying beside a pirate who had been fighting him by hand it seemed. The coat was filled with slits and blood. The man had since released it as she came over to collect it. *
"You don't seem to be using this, are you sir?" she spoke quietly, as she gingerly approached him. She tried to smile down at him but her head hurt far too great to smile much at all. She heard the man start to talk. Being that her ears were shoved with wadding, Jaden leaned down close to him to hear what he had to say.
"Aye lassy,... I won't be needin' this here coat. 'Twas an excellent fight... I carved him well with me blades.... I would have slit him from stem to stern.... had he not gotten me..." he breathed rather shallowly and coughed at little, clutching his chest. She hadn't noticed right away, but the redcoat must have skewered him through the left lung. "He must have been aiming for his heart" she thought to herself. She carefully knelt beside him. The man coughed once more and continued, "... I hope the Captain knows... of the bravery my group had..." the man coughed terribly and yet managed a smile throughout the pain. "Aye sir... that he will..." she said looking down upon him, placing a hand to his cheek.
*This man had not much time left in him. She looked around quickly to see if there was anyone who could help him. After a few moments she realized the Doctor must have gone below deck to stitch up other wounded. She leaned down closely to speak to him again, her voice quiet and as consoling as she could be.*
"Good sir, what is your name?" she asked as gently as possible. His following words were airy and without much voice but he smiled once more as he spoke. ".... The good Lord... has sent me an angel... indeed... come to take me... to me place upon another ship... Tell... the Captain... ... ... Jack Flint... was honored... to... serve... ... ..." the man tried to finish the sentance, but no air passed from his lips as he mouthed the final words words "beside him" as his head dropped to the side. His body lay still upon the deck.
*She placed her hand upon Flint's eyelids and closed them as the burn of tears soaked her face again. Unable to wipe them away because of her shackles, she bit her lip to the point she drew blood to stop herself from crying. She didn't know this man at all, but his loyalty lay deep with the Captain, and be it delusion or no, he had called her an angel. After some of the harsh things said between her and the Doctor and the crewman's demeaning attitude towards her, this stranger's words made her feel far more remorse than before. She tried to shake away her wandering thoughts and blew a stray curl out of her face. She grabbed the shirt she had seen laying on its own along with the coat and worked her way back to Miss Ares.
She wadded the shirt up as a pillow and gently tucked it beneath Ares head and since she had lost so much blood, the warmth of the coat would work as an excellent blanket atop her. Once laying Miss Ares in a comfortable position and covering her, Jaden decided to try and see if there was anything at all she could do. She could wrap minor wounds but other than consolation, there was not much she could do. Noticing the Doctor's bag on the quarterdeck, she went over to it, headache now blazing within her temples. She began to rummage through it for anything to help her. Stopping a brief moment, she remembered the Doctor had tucked her picks within the satchel, hoping beyond hope they were still within she felt around to see if she could find them. *
"Blast!!... Well... I do give him credit for remembering to grab them... I wouldn't trust me... in his position... I suppose." she groaned slightly, less for the disappointment in not reacquiring her tools but rather for the pain spreading to the front of her head.
*Yet she ignored her pains and grabbed what little supplies she could help with and began to care for those of whom she could and provided an ear for those who needed it desperately. The doctor had told her to listen to Miss Ares. And seeing Miss Ares had stopped helping the wounded due to her own injuries, she took on what few things she could to help them as much as she could.*

Time-Spanned Soul The doctor turned around and looked at the individual who called his name.
"The Captain is not here, and I'm not to leave the ship. Dr. Morgan is about town collecting the wounded. I don't know why you've returned to the ship unless you were told to by the Captain, but I don't think you were since your expecting to find him today. In any case, I have already committed one act of mutiny on this day. I will not commit another by leaving ship. I refuse to run from my punishment, and that's exactly what leaving would be seen as."
Baxter looked at him curiously. He still didn't know why this individual had returned to ship. In fact the very sight of him here disgusted the doctor.
"Also, you said your men were wounded, and you left them behind! What sort of leader are you? You should never have abandoned your men. What if some redcoats were to find them?"
The doctor turned in disgust and began to walk away grumbling to himself, "I may have committed a mutiny in trying to keep the Captain here, but I have never abandoned people in need. Such actions are despicable." ((Dude are you talking about me? Because if you are I brought my men with me. I just don't know where the medical deck is as my character.))
