The fire had burnt most of Ava's mask off and now part of her face shown through. She stood up quickly and pulled it fully off now, there was no more point in it. There were some scrapes and soot, she lacked her initial beauty but her eyes still stunned the senses. Ava had one gun left now, her left one and she held it by her and stared at Kasumi with her sword ready to plunge at her.


Ultima's plan wasn't going well now, he had lost the location of one of the guns. Taking his concentration off of the battle's last actions he tried to sense the other Kasumi through the wilderness.

*Kas's eyes were focused on both the spot where she was going to stab and the gun, her eyes avoiding her face unintentionally. Soon she heard the other doppleganger come back after disposing of the first gun, and then the copy stopped in her tracks as she stared at Ava, her eyes wide open*

This battle would not last much longer there was no point in staying here. Slipping the cursed daggers into the back of his boots Jacob turned from the battle. Glancing for a brief moments towards his hands in the white gloves. Though, those white gloves were now completely drenched in his blood and little blood drops were cascading down to the forest floor. It was amazingly how that cream his sister forged together could easily take away the pain. Jacob simply walked off the branch letting himself fall about ten feet before he came crouching down upon another branch. causing a few leaves to loose their grip upon the twigs and glide down to the forest floor. Again Jacob walked off this branch and landed upon the ground with a soft thud. The eight year old beginning to walk off not even bothering to attend to his wounds.

Ava let out a high yelp as the sharp sword pierced her through. Ancient magic energy felt like it was burning her insides. She tried to swing her arm at the wretch attacking her put her arms could hardly move. Actually what she could hardly do was breath. The angle of the sword had put her lung in direct impact with its tip. Now she struggled to move with only one left and powerful waves of energy searing her insides.

Rias grew still as an image came to her that so rivaled the one she was seeing with the two women. It was of herself and of Medora, a girl child that had been adamant about killing her. Medora had killed her own gaurd. THey had become friends. Medora had used dark magic to ensure their deaths. Rias trembled, her eyes wide and her wings poised. It was as though she were reliving the past. She knew Ultima was probably watching her. SHe didn't really care. Her wings twitched and a black feather drifted down. As it hit the ground, it began to burn with black fire. Then a silver feather fell and it too burned when it touched the ground. Instead of a black blaze though, it was a silver blaze. Rias's fingers twitched slightly and she inched forward on the branch. She herself had killed Medora and had in turn made enemies of Medora's family and friends. She herself had also be poisoned. For months after she had destroyed senselessy. Like Medora had done. She did not want this to happen here.

*Kasumi loomed over her, not hearing the incantation. The other Kasumi still remained lying face down on the ground, unconscience. Suddenly she was getting this empty feeling...like something was going to go wrong. She swallowed and decided to give her one last chance* "This is it..." *She said, her sword raising up to strike her down for good*

Ultima sighed as Rias tried to stop the battle. With a snap her legs became tethered to the ground and he grabbed her arm. In a whisper he said "Can't you see the look in that woman's eyes. She means to die fighting here, she would rather die then lose" after speaking Ultima looked at her still with a mix of anger and disgust at her actions. To interfere in such a battle seemed like such a sin to him.


Ava heard nothing, the incantation everyone thought they heard was merely the lords prayer said as loudly as she could manage. Her balance was returning but her breathing was still rapid. She refused to stop, she would give everything here against the demon. Her approach came closer, her death closer too.
