Walkers needed so we don't lose any more babies. Please help out, or the next to die just might be yours.

Went through the incubator and updated the scrolls. If someone could please go through the inactives for me, I would appreciate it. I've worked 6 days this week, and tomorrow is my only day off. Gotta do the home stuff, like laundry and grocery shopping before taking my daughter back to Job Corps tomorrow night.

(other than pain..cuz I know it hurts)Yep, it hurts like heck at times, especially after my exercises which I do 3 to 4 times a day. Recirculating ice packs are wonderful! Trying to not take as much of the Vicodin as suggested (1-2 tabs every 4 hours as needed). I tolerate pain pretty good so I've managed with 3 tabs a day or less. The ACL is really stiff right now. I have to do the exercises to loosen it up. The inactivity is driving me nuts. I get around the house with the crutches okay but with the leg immobilizer (which is from my upper thigh to ankle) I can only sit (with leg propped up on pillows) or lie down. Great for the first couple of days after surgery when I wasn't feeling so great. But now I'm getting stir crazy... which means I'm feeling better. Wow... reading this makes me realize how stir crazy I am getting. Sorry for the incoherent rant. redface neutral

It wasn't incoherent at all. LOL I've had surgery before....about 400 stitches. I feel your pain. My next surgery will be my wrist/thumb to fix tendon damage I received getting hit by a chair at my last job. A client threw the chair at me. No time to duck, just put my arms up and pray. It was good times. crying I've been avoiding that surgery for about 6 years now. Gonna avoid it for as long as I can. Thanks for going through the inactives. It's much appreciated. Am very happy that none of the infirmary died...I was really worried. Chris was bummed last night to find her grey egg had died. We lost too many eggs yesterday.

*Huggles the regular black hatchling* I was so sure that this time around I just might get lucky with the Alt. Black Lotto since this little one's parents are similar to Marchen Vala's (Alt. Black Father and Valentine Mother). I didn't forget to post her, she had so many views and unique views when I rescued her from the abandoned page that I was afraid she might get sick before she hatched. Oh well, back to the drawing board, so to speak...

to Robynn ~ I knew that I would eventually have to get the ACL fixed. I delayed that for 12 years. Only reason I had to get the surgery done now was that I complicated the injury by tearing the medial meniscus and cartilage almost two months ago. Not really sure how though. That all made surgery necessary. But I'm very determined to get through this "recovery" phase with flying colors. I'm doing my exercises and following all the doctor's orders (except for taking the Vicodin as often as prescribed ... doing okay with lesser dosages). Good luck with your hand/wrist/thumb, Robynn! As I've said before, getting older is not for sissies. xp
to Arca ~ Thanks for walking the babies! PM me with your schedule this week and let's see if I can get a silver egg or two to you, okay? Thanks! biggrin
to fumiko and Midori ~ Putting your eggs in the Incubator. Thanks for the update! 3nodding
to Kimmi ~ Thanks for walking the Infirmary! Let us know when you want the hatchling added to the Incubator. Wishing you better luck next on an alt! wink
