Kieran looked away from the window, and what he could see of the Underdark. His eyes slid to Fianna who now rest in reverie. He should be in one as well...he could feel the bit of protest from his own mind at not being so..or more pointedly off schedule. He was too busy pondering and feeling things through bonds long ago created. From Fianna he only felt the peaceful quiet that came with a peaceful reviere. From Piper...well that was a different story entirely. A mix of emotions was the elf. Strong enough to tug on any bond she had really...but that was the way of bonds, communion enhanced or not. Crossing his arms and leaning back against he wall he pinched the bride of huis nose before resting his face in his palm. "Simpetar?"

She opened her eyes for a moment, looking around. Oh wait that was in her head. Though she frowned slightly then...what did he want? If it was something along the lines of come up here well she wasn't. Piper liked her currently locked alone away from everything state. "Uma atar?"

Oh well he didn't expect her to answer him really. "You have to let her adjust...I think I made a good point with her. Belive me my daughter...your mother and I went through the same thing with our own parents...and yes, your mother is being a hypocrite. And you know how she feels about that. You just have to give her time...it's only been a day. Stop trying to impress her and simply go about things as you usually do. She'll see it all eventually."

She didn't want to do this...hm...how to get out of this. Ah there is was. "Your mind is weary...shouldn't you be in reverie?"

"Yes, I should be. I just wanted to tell you that so you could mull over it a while." That said he wouldn't say another word to her. Besides she was right...his mind was starting to give him a hard time.

Piper sighed, then took a break and sunk back up to her eyes in the steaming hot water. No, she didn't feel like going back to the world yet. But damn Kieran...she indeed was thinking now.

He was just taking away everything that she had to make him feel bad. Damn him. "She wanted to come to the Underdark? Lolth, she does have a Drow complex, doesnt' she?" She idly crossed her arms and leaned against teh wall, still watching him. "I'm kind of wondering if some of that fight wasn't about her collar. I know if she were my daughter I'd be damned before I'd let her be with the likes of you." A shake of her head, "I'd look her in the eyes and say 'over my dead body.'" She smirked, "But then I do'nt have a daughter, and I would hope if I ever did she'd have moer sense than to be with someone like you."

Deep in the bowls of Stonekeep, the little drow leaned against the wall and seemed to be counting. Every minut he lifted a finger, and each time he ran out of fingers, he made a mark on the wall behind him.

The beds were now moved into a spear head infront of the door, and a trip wire was placed across the path. The wire was connected to a bucket that was hanging just above the door. Should the wire be triped, the primitive trape would dump water on whoever walked below.

The Oracle sat for the moment behind the beds, somewhat usless in this situation, seeing little, waiting to be caught by surprise. Tanundra lurked outside somewhere, unable to do much, as his size and method of attack would destroy the keep, and thus those isnide. No time to change now, and chance being caught mid transformation.

Currently, she was doing soemthing that she would really rather not do, as she loved her clothes. But she was not so vain. Dagger in hand, she she sliced up the seem to her knee, and toor off most of the bottom half of her skirt. Petticoats came next.

"Well, at least you'll be stylish when-" The sound of a thousand people screaming in agony thundered from inside the room, literally stealing the sound of Tarathiel's voice.

The noise ended when a giant globe of darkness appeared, and consumed all of the false light in the room. A rather silly use of the spell, considering that even though Tarathiel was no longer immune to magic, this spell only stopped the sight of creatures that were the bane of Lloth, and he wasnt exactly the anti-lloth in practice. To top of that, Meilikki was already blind, so the magical darkness would not have effected her one way or the other, but the room did get a little colder as the darkness absorbed some of the warmth.

"Congradulations sister, you have successfully wasted your Utterdark spell."

"Shut up, where is THAT TRAMP!" Vierna shouted, scaning the room. The beds seemed to meld with Meilikki's form for a reason beyond her comprehension, or merely a pre-ordained defense Tarathiel had installed incase of this moment. Though chaotic, Tarathiel did have a great deal of foresight.

"You know, if I could call you, I would have never had to have lured you here."

"WHAT THE FU-"

"Shhhhhh.... Sweet Sister, shhhh..." Tarathiel baited the older drow with soft words, still using the common language so Meilikki could follow more readily.

"HOW CAN YOU EXPECT ME TO BE CALM WHEN YOU ARE RUNNING AROUND WITH OLD HUMAN WOMEN!"

"Did you see me actually run around with old human women?"

"No, but YOU THOUGHT ABOUT IT!" Vierna screamed rather loudly.

"Since you are here alone, I must guess that outside and surrounding the walls is the two leagons you gathered to squish her if she should try to run?"

"Yes."

"I am guessing that the easiest leagons to get at this time of year was coincidentally Dinin's and Zaknefien's."

"As always brother, you knowledge of our distant city never ceases to amaze me, even though you rarely visit and never stay long." The woman began to cast some nasty spell, but Tarathiel simply walked up to her and kissed her.

No time to respond to that remark, though no somehwat partial to the cold, Meilikki noticed the temperature change. Time to be quiet then, was it?

Although, she must say she was quite offened at being called a tramp, and old, seeing as how she was younger that Tarathiel's sister in both repective life spans. She shook her head, no logic to those statments.

Oh well. These littel thoughts were simply diverting her attention form the fact that she was frightend to the point of numbness, seeing as how a violent drow was now in her bedroom, and demanding to know where she was.

She supposed she could easily guess what was happening, but did not bother trying. Being frightened while trying to predict was not a wise choice.

"I need your armies, you want me. Let's trade..." Tarathiel mumbled to his sister, knowning full well that Meilikki could hear. This little masquerade had to go on for now, and maybe later he would kill her...

Then again, this was an interesting method to gathering an army upon demand. And, it cost him next to nothing, well, except his pride and dignity, and several other things he had always cheerished but never truly valued until now.

Truly, this was disgusting. Very, very wrong.

Strange, to obey the laws of nature in not wanting to be in an incestful relationship, it was very very lawful...

Damn...

It...

She closed her eyes, put her head in one hand. Was she really the cause for this? She was not sure how she was supposed to feel about that, but she certianly did feel reched at this point. She suppressed a sigh. I'm sorry, Tarathiel...

He smirked lightly, and shrugged.

"Then I guess I should be happy Piper is not your daughter. but just think, any daughter you have will deal with alot more than I am. if you coudl even find a male that wanted you after your little issue of nearly getting sacrificed."

She laughed at that. "It's never hard to get a man. They're ruled by their own wants and their own desires. They're weak and that's the reason they are not in control. They let a little lust and desire overshadow everything else, loose cannons cannot be allowed in power. Thus why men kneel at our feet and not teh other way around." She perched herself on the counter much the same as she had when the Vah were in the kitchen. She wondered briefly where those two ran off to and then shook her head. "See, you think we're barbaric and foolish but good logic goes into the though processes and we decided a long time ago men can't be trusted."

"I'll remember you said that when you meet a wizard that isn't afaird of being sacrificed. you women as just as ruled by passion and spite and lust as anyone else. you just think that becuase you can give birth your somethign special. you're not. A woman can be brought to heel with lust same as a man. It ain't keeping them underfoot becuase of anything else. your afriad, because not only do men have the ability to be just as power priests, necromancers, wizards and the like, but they are, on teh average, physically stronger as well. if you ever lost control, you'd never get it back in any means."
PostPosted: Fri Dec 09, 2005 5:20 pm

"No man would dare try and take power from a woman. He'd find himself beaten and then sacrificed. Lolth doesn't play with that sort of thing. Besides the Spider Queen would never ever let a man into that much power." She laughed, actually and truly laughed, "Woman are not ruled by lust and desire like men. Because after all women are in more control than that. We don't have to have pleasure all the time like men. Men get irritated when a week goes by and they don't get anything. women can go for months and sometimes even years."

"That's debatable. I've known men who have gone without till the day they die becuase they are devoted entirely to thier magic, or thier sowrdplay, or thier political power. and women can get pleasure all the time, if the man knows how to please."

A small smirk at that.

"and if women weren't so easy to fall into the trap, there woulnd't be so many women as prositutes, now would there?"

Keeping his chin as high as he could in his disgusted state, the Drow Prince walked along side the Drow Princess and into the open fields, where two fully formed leagons where standing in columns, awaiting orders. They were dressed in assult gear, which meant they wore their drow made armour and carried large drow made shields, with each carrying one hand crossbow, and two full quivers. They each had one melee weapon, and one short spear. The drow never fully integrated into the phalanx fighting form, but it was very effective in the tunnels. The various dwarven tribes had tought them that, and they kept that lesson close, until they were able to drift into small warparties and fight as they always had.

Their was only one wizard present, which pleased Tarathiel very much. Ad'non was a brother, and easily controlled. The two captains were other brothers too, which made alot of sense. Vierna could bully or threaten them into coming, and their leagons could be assembled within hours, three hours and fifteen minutes to be exact, and on top of that, they were frequently used in situations like this, hunting down single persons, usually rebellious drow, and slaughtering them in a very timely fasion. For the last five hundred years, there have been few conquests of the grand scale Tarathiel grew up with, and very few prizes for such conquests. These warriors were starving for treasures worth having, unlike the gold that the humans sought. Excellent.

The only down side to this was Vierna, who was constantly smiling and crackling, marking that she now had the 'Son of Chaos' within her grasp.

"Sister, we need to march into the tunnels to the north and east, from there it is a-" Tarathiel tried to explain the route he was going to take to get to where he wanted the army located, but Vierna the ever cheerful one, interrupted him.

"Oh no, we are not marching. We do not have all the time in the world to get this silly thing over with. Ad'non will open a gate."

"Can he even open gates?" Tarathiel almost had to laugh at that, gating was not the most efficiecnt use of that level of energy for a wizard.

"He can with the blessings of Lloth."

Tarathiel cringed, her implications were not going to settle well with the wizard. That type of spellcasting required a degree of submission from the wizard, one that few wizards would submit to.

"Ad'non, come her." She seemingly commanded with the viggor of a divine being, Ad'non resisting walked towards her, and even managed to regain his own feet before coming before Vierna.

The wizard frowned. "What is it this time?"

"My Lady." A seemingly nasty glare shown in her eyes as her hand fell upon the hilt of a whip that only the priestessess of Lloth dare touch.

"My lady." Ad'non replied.

"Communal casting, you and I. We need to get everyone a long distance quickly."

"Bu-" A hand guesture from Tarathiel silenced the mage, the smirk on the drow's face showed the younger wizard that something was stirring.

"If you do this, you will have to stay here, and I am not going to leave a drow prince unprotected in this backwater state. Zaknefien and Dinin will stay with you." Tarathiel said with an evil lure, one which Ad'non recognized with a rather hopeful anticipation. This grin only accompanied devilish acts.

"As you wish, my lady." The youngest of the royals present swore to the Cleric in charge. The woman gloated in her power, and Tarathiel merely smiled more devilishly.
