Orange is my favorite colour :p
Put it on a separate layer, tint it a random colour, then use the colour adjust on it and see what looks best.

Orange would kind of be appropriate, oddly enough.
At least I always do my highlight/shading on seperate layers to make it easy. But that's a clever idea actually...huh. Never would have thought of that.
Bad stuck mind bad, stop limiting yourself.

Yay orange! I got hooked on the colour a few months ago. It calms me, oddly enough. that or a nice blue.
I don't know anyone who does it on the same layer, foolhardy. But yeah, the adjust features are my best friends. Make my pencil scans look so nice too. Not to mention Life Drawing, you can get a sepia-light scan all crisp and white and black in like, 3 minutes.

I usually capitalize on the adjust features. Just...why the hell didn't I think of that. Weird.
Maybe I'm just used to doing my highlight/shading a certain way.
Must break out of art box!

You break out of that box the more you do. The more you get bored with what your doing the more you try to find new ways to do it.
Right now I'm hooked on Illustrator CS. Love the crisp lines.

My good Illu is so good for lines. I just don't use lines. Speaking of tattoo designs...I recently did some tattoo commissions and if you can get a cheap copy of illustrator Jason, so for it. Those make those tattoo outlines PERFECT. A la:
