Lyori smiled some, hearing they were so close. This was wonderful! She could finally have one to take care of! She knew just about everything else about them so she was set. The dragoness smiled and bowed some, thanking them for the information and proceeded to leave. She'd prefer if she had a home ready for the one she'd catch before she actually caught it.

Kaitani quickly followed after Lyori as she headed out of the room, leaving Searan and Anya to whatever evil-doing they were committing. Which was actually a potion meant to make Demetri and Jethrow go crazy as punishment for their behavior towards the new girl... News traveled fast.
"Are you gonna try and catch one?" Kaitani asked, catching up with Lyori.

Lyori turned to Kaitani and nodded some, smiling happily. "Yes. I've always wanted one ever since my father showed a wild one to me. They're so precious! And it'd make it easier to talk to my parents." she said, walking to her room.

Lyori watched him go. That was quite abrupt... Had she said something she shouldn't have? Oh dear... Now she felt bad... She went back to the library for a moment, grabbing a book on ice dragons before going back to her room. Now she didn't tell anyone this, not even her father, but her mother had taught her how to sew. And since Kaitani seemed a bit childish, she decided to make him a little dragon toy. One to match his other form. Well... roughly at least.

Once Kaitani was outside, he transformed into his ice dragon form, flying up into the trees surrounding the south end of the castle. It didn't take him long to find what looked like miniature dragon clans' nests, and he smiled to himself, landing amongst smaller versions of his own creature. Hello, all of you. Have any of you ever wanted your child to get an education at the castle of Mesilici?

Lyori, being the 'master of the thread' she was, finished the toy in no time. But she kind of didn't want to give it to the poor by now. She just wanted to hug it. It was so cute! But it was a present. She couldn't keep it. The young dragon grabbed a blue ribbon and sewed a few snowflakes into it before tying it into a bow around the dragon toy's neck. "Now all I got to do is run into him again." she said, smiling, looking out her window.

Later that week, Kaitani was returning from another one of his excursions to the nymph dragons, and he was pretty sure that Lyori was going to be rather happy... If he could only just run into her again.

Lyori had been all over the castle, trying to find that dragon for the past week. She hadn't seen him at all! How could a dragon hide so well? She sighed some as she sat in the dining hall, poking at a pastry she had lost her appetite for. The young dragon had Kaitani's present in a bag she had been carrying with her since she started looking for him, but she didn't know where else to look!

Finally, Kaitani asked a random student if they'd seen a girl with gold-tipped hair, and was told to look in the dining hall. Upon seeing her, there was no mistaking her. Kaitani sat across from her and raised an eyebrow, smirking. "You, my dear, are a hard person to get a hold of."

Lyori looked up to see Kaitani sit down with her, but instead of blushing, she smirked some. "You're one to talk. I've been looking for you all week." she said, pushing the pastry to him. "You want this? I'm not really hungry."

Kaitani shook his head. "No thanks; I hear it's bad to fly on a full stomach. Gotta wait an hour or some crap like that," he said, raising an eyebrow at her own smirk.

Lyori nodded a little, pushing the pastry aside since neither of them wanted it. She then sighed some. "Look. If I said something to upset you in any way a week ago, I really am sorry. I even made something for you." she said, taking the toy out of her bag and putting it on the table. She then blushed embarrassedly. This was a bit silly to give a boy she liked a toy she had made. Now she felt very childish and stupid.

Kaitani raised his eyebrows in surprise. "That's, um, really nice, and a little weird, in an interesting way, of course... I wasn't upset, but thank you, anyway, for the nice gesture," he said, surprised and shocked. He touched the toy, and the edges of his smirk turned into a smile. After all, he'd been an orphan, in a way, and hadn't played with many toys, though Luke had tried his hardest to entertain the young dragon in his first few years.

Lyori only blushed more, but not in the good way. She felt so stupid now. This was so embarrassing... Maybe she should shift the topic... "S-So... Why did you want to see me?"
