Holy crap! I just ordered those mugs two days ago with standard ground shipping, and they're already here. Ohmygosh, they're so cuuuuuuuuuuute. heart
Think I need a half-size bigger in the shoes, though, and I'm sending the necklace back.
Oh, and they sent me a free tape measurer. Now I can see exactly how big my thunder thighs are. They gave me a free headband, too. It's adorable, but is unfortunately very, very pink. I'm not much of a a pink kinda gal. sweatdrop

I don't know when I'm going to go home next, and short of wanting to see my grandma whenever I can (she's 83 and starting to feel it), I'm not that interested in going back anymore. I mean I miss the place, but the people in it? neh.
This just sort of dawned on me the other day when I was talking to my grandma and she asked when we were coming to visit next.

kermi - Haha. I feel that way about my old hometown. Of course, if I moved to a new town tomorrow, I don't feel like I'd really miss the people OR the place. But I really loved the house I lived in from ages 7-13. There was a gigantic oak in the frontyard that would shed acorns every year. And a couple great climbing trees (the one was dead and rotting and we had to cut it down). One of the neighbors had a truly massive buckey tree that was also great for climbing, and we'd throw the buckeyes against the concrete to get the seeds out. And there was a forest behind the house. There were always all kinds of animals coming up the birdfeeders. Squirrels, raccoons, chipmunks... The squirrels were the best, though, because my mom must have bought 20 different products that were supposed to "squirrel-proof" the feeders, but those clever bastards found a way around every one. We had one birdfeeder on a poll with a big umbrella like structure underneath it, but they still got around it. So one day my mom greased the poll and we watched this squirrel climb up a little, then slide down like a fireman for a good hour. But he eventually made it to the birdseed. rofl
I've heard that the rich jackass that lives down the street has fenced off a lot of the woods since we've lived there, though, so we couldn't use the old bike trail anymore even if I did live there. I think the one that goes to the lake is still open, though. There was a doctor who raised wounded deer and he didn't mind if people went back to feed them carrots and things. I probably couldn't hack the other trail, anymore, anyways. It was pretty damned steep. Lots of rocks to climb.
Edit: Oh great. Gaia made another facebook game. ******** you, too. -_-

OMG - That guy at Dell customer service is a real joke! He took my bf several calls to solve an never-delivered-item issue and he expects my man to give him a positive review???
He send my bf an email where he asks my beloved to write that the problem was solved within ONE call. It took 7 friggin calls to solve the issue!!! Be sure that my man will write down the truth.

I just finished reading 'House of Leaves'.
This has everything. Notable artifice, various ideograms, definitely some odd notations. Rather ergonomic collection of riddling delineations.
Read it.

I just had some of the weirdest dreams. I went to see a production of the Phantom of the Opera, only it wasn't. First of all, it was on a pirate ship. I don't mean the play was, I mean the whole damned thing was. I was sitting on a pirate ship watching PotO. And the plot was definitely... different. The Phantom had a time machine and he went forward in time an abducted this amazing singer. And I guess she had her own issues because she actually seemed to take a shine to him. Then there was some sort of attack from... what? They looked like ghosts and monsters, so let's just say minions from the Underworld. I think they were after the Phantom. The Christine character, being a modern woman (I guess) was all "******** no, leave my Erik alone" and fought them off. That's when the ship caught fire and half of the audience boarded another one. But when the actors didn't seem worried, I figured it was part of the play and stayed. In the middle of the chaos there was a performance by either Leave's Eyes or Epica. Huh? They gave just about EVERYONE in the audience t-shirts. Then the Phantom and "Christine" came back and... I dunno. There was audience participation? All of a sudden I had this gorgeous dress on and I, and a lot of other women, were called up on stage to... give Phantom a hug? Huh? The lights went out and I ended up bumping into him like a total clutz. He caught me and turned it into a sexy little dance number. And then the actors asked trivia questions and handed out candy to the winners.
Man... I should eat mushroom and pepperoni pizza before bed every night if this is what happens. Maybe those 'shrooms weren't portabello...

RAR RAR stupid ATi RAR RAR.
I've spent the last few days trying to update my video card's drivers to no avail. Well, the actual installation works fine, but if I boot up my computer from a cold start (as in, not restarting) I get a BSOD. Whenever I restart after that it works fine, but getting rid of that BSOD is trying my goddamned patience.

About time they got the P&J update out. I didn't go as crazy with tiles as I'd intended, so I couldn't buy anything over 10k tickets. I decided to go with the turkey tail, since Thanksgiving is coming up. I had to keep lowering the price and was just about convinced nobody wanted one, but somebody just sent me a PM offering 95k. I had it listed for 99,999, so yay. biggrin
Edit: Oh, Persephone is finally going back down. There is one listed for 4.1k, which I can actually afford. Should I buy it or wait? I really wanted the pay more in the 3mils. What if it goes back up. Oh, decisions decisions.
Edit 2: My heart sank a little when I saw the 4.1m listing disappear. Then I got a trade with a persephone in it. The seller took my offer of 4mil. Yay! I have a persephone. heart
Now, I'm torn. I can't wait to make an avatar with it, but I really love my current avatar. More life-changing decisions. xd

Read it. NO NO NO. gonk Oh my God.....that book was the freakiest thing EVER. Every night when I went to sleep I kept telling myself that it's just a book, it's just a book, it's just a book. gonk I can't even recommend it because I lost enjoyment out of it on page 118 (although I must have read 300 pages given all the footnotes). Craziest, zaniest thing ever. Never again. crying I swear that book is evil. I felt a huge weight off of me when I gave it back to the library. Arg. And that is an awesome dream, Pyre. xd ! I don't even have 4mil but I did have 3.5mil a while ago until I spent it on the cursed pumpkin. Haha. That's a good grab on persephone because it's been around 4mil for a while. Sorce: I've been getting that with my lappy. :/ I should do something but ehhhh, it's old. XD

Missed this post: Lady Pyre This is the first time I've ordered anything, myself. I really love a lot of the dresses, but I'm kinda afraid to order any because I have trouble fitting them. Large bust, tiny waist, even larger hips. It would probably be okay since most of the styles I like are A-line, but I dunno. Taking them to the tailor or sending them back is a pain in the a**. I'm particularly in love with these three dresses. But at those prices, it's a major splurge, so they'd better fit as-is. I wouldn't want to risk a bad tailoring job and be unable to send them back. And I'd finally have somewhere to wear such fancy clothes with the performing arts center opening soon. That green one is cute, but it looks like the bust is for smaller boobs. XD I hate it when that happens. I think the second one would fit better because it's all drape-y. I think the second is my favorite. Then again, green and purple don't look good on me. Yeah, it's pretty expensive on that website but really cool stuff. I think I've wanted some of the hats on there. I love hats and scarves. <3 Sorce I love that peter pan image. xd !

With my coloring, that shade of purple looks amazing on me. And I love brocade. But I'd be worried that the high neckline and busy ruffles would make me and my big boobs look matronly. And I'd be afraid of falling out of the beige number, because it looks really low-cut. I'd probably go with the green. Modcloth rarely gets sizes over large and that one actually goes up to 2X, so it would probably accommodate boobs. Is it bad I even know what I'd wear it with? I think a black fascinator (maybe similar to this one), fingerless lace gloves, and t-strap heels. <.< Speaking of heels... I'm not really the kind of girl to sacrifice fashion for comfort, but I thought these were so adorable that I almost bought them. Then I read the reviews, and almost everybody said the straps broke the first time they wore them. Boo. sad So I bought these flats instead. I cracked up laughing when they came and I saw the brand name was Bamboo. So yeah. Not everything on Modcloth is expensive - it's mostly just the clothes. They actually have some pretty well-priced shoes and jewelry. Like this ring. Of course, then they have some prices that just make me got "WTF?" Nearly $40 for a band of fake leather?

The huge pain in the a**, when it comes to dresses, is to fit the chest area and it have to look right. The garment on the purple gown is not a good idea on a bigger chest as it adds to much stuff on an already prominent bust (altho I love the color), the second dress, you want to be careful with the cleavage, altho a camisole can solve the issue. This one tho have the neckline idea that complement a larger chest while not having the girls stealing the show from you. wink

These flats are good and it is a good move to opted the heels out as they seems to be of cheap quality IMO. High heels must be very well constructed as it is though enough for your feet to have your body weight on your toes that they need support. If you're unsure about heels, start with kitten heels and train your way up.
