So for you the Dojo is in Gaia, but that doesn't mean that's how it is for the rest of us. Phia comes from a parallel Earth/Dimension/Reality. Remember the Hall of Doors? Lots of different versions of everything.

Nana, as someone relatively new to the workings of the dOjo, I think it's safe to say you don't really have any idea what the hell you're talking about. Don't get me wrong, you're a full-fledged in-depth citadel rat, but that has nothing to do with the Dojo. You weren't there for it's creation, it's first pages, or even for a bulk of the original roleplay for the first thread. I really don't care about where YOU think it is, because as far as I'm concerned you and the Dojo itself have NOTHING to do with each other IC or OOC.

Everything is more or less in the same world KB, that much is set. Otherwise Nana nor the children would ever have been able to visit the place in the first place. Wether its in Gaia or somewhere else I don't really care. Its just 'somewhere' and the user wanted a reference.

One has to remember that the Dojo was created back when gaia was very new and a lot of these features, locations, characters and events were yet to be concieved.
We have elements of myth. legend, sci-fi, among other things coming together in the Dojo as well as the rest of gaia. A lot of what Gaia is nowadays as it grows in popularity might mirror modern-earth elements, but this is entirely the admins steady decline to make this site an excellent example of glory gone to s**t.
So instead of saying 'The Dojo is in earth kiddy, if you want it to be, whilst everyone else is playing it somewhere else.' and such things that cause general misleading confusion and plots and events that don't flow smoothly, you might as well use your head and think of the simple answer already presented. This isn't an entirely use-choice area Nana, so no, users don't mold every aspect of this guild around their own opinion anymore then one could mold their way around getting speared int he throat. God-modding is a great example of a user molding the rules to their own specific viewpoint, as is shown in some of our more infamous godlike scenes int his guild, where one person is the son of god, or DBZ occurs, or etc etc.

If you think the second is the same argument as the first, please seek psychiatrich help. For one who boasts a lot about knowing more about the history of BC than people like Nana, you're missing a lot of key points. If you're basing where the BC is on the history of where it's been, then your entire argument that it's not an earth variant is flawed. References to world war 2 have been made by various members, Kaiori has at least one character who's stated to be from the French nation, and hell one of the old day RPs had the final battle take place in Egypt against Anubis...... pardon me if my entire upbringing that says theseare real places and events that happened are real is wrong. Because of its mix of real earth events and a whole lot of myticism, I say again that it's by definition an alternate earth. Perhaps in the future it will be definitively set that it is not earth, but unless that happens no one here can really say it's not a variant of earth. So once again I point out that it has been called gaia and earth interchangably, though it is most often referred to as 'the planet.'

First agurment - Answering the question. The second was responding to Nana's attempts to do so, and making sure that clarity was upheld. Her indecision on the subject and passive nature on choice of setting doesn't answer the question, it leaves a vague push in a vague direcion. Not that this is making it any better. XD
References to WWII and to French things are likely more of a subconcious OOC nature then it is a concious IC determination. Either way half these people teleport everywhere, and the half that actually drive or walk have probably either just appeared or crossed some unimaginable distance, seamlessly scooping themselves through unseen portals.
And Egypt is nothing more then a subtle ploy. xp

You guys complain too much....sheesh the dojo is the dojo, to me i can find it in my back pocket..who the ******** cares where its located, everyone seems to find it just fine. if you are having trouble understand or locating the dojo, go to the main page and find the thread named " BC dojo" and BAM theres teh DOjo xD

Mmm, sadly to say, I think you're all right in different ways. Nana is because people do that, they all see the Dojo in a different area then others probably do. I see it as the discribtion tells, but someone else might not. What I call the planet, "Gaia" someone else could call it, Mars. The land's not red and dusty, but hey, if they wanna call it osmething else, then be it.
It does mess up some RP though, when someone's character has been played that this is Gaia a whole different world seperate from the Earth. Then someone comes in making references to RL stuff, the character's like wtf? Are we talking about the same place here? Just as I've said before, about time. Two kids are born at the same time, a week later, one's a newborn the others a twelve year old already. The mother of the newborn's, thinking, how the hell did it grow so fast? Though most just take it in stride nad keep going, not really putting RP and thought into it. Another reason why Gaia isn't as great as it once was.
Mmm, if it doesn't make sense, blame it on me being yo way to damn early. @.@

Sheesh Males and their egos to be right..... Who the ******** cares? I don't know..... oh wait, probably the person that asked the question in the first place...... If it had been on original Earth, the location would have vastly affected the surrounding terrain. Of course since it's on a planet baring a lot of historical and geographic similarities to earth, it's hard to really say 'where' it is. The location isn't so much important for the dojo itself but what's around it.

Also, for profiles, is there a specific structure I should follow? You can just look at what people have used and put in what you want. What I suggest though is that you put in things you'll really descirbe...... it just makes you look a little dumb when you put in a 'weight' section and then put 'unknown.' I'd also suggest not doing the 'I'll add this later' strategy..... because all the people I've seen do that in the past hav never gone back to finish.
