Quin seemed to come out of a daze, "Hmm? Oh, yes, Morgan. I think I shall for if my ears have not lied to me she is only up the path beyond us. Seems she was looking to find some bodies to throw into the fray along with herself." Pointing off down the trail with his cane, "Shouldn't be that long." Continueing at their leisure pace, "Why don't you shout out to her, maybe she'll slow down."

"Morgan! Hey!" Rivven shouted, quickening his pace a little, but careful not to leave Quin too far behind. He stopped again when he came within sight, waiting for the limping man to catch up. "How is it coming for you all? Anything new, or are we still in about the same stages of planning as before?"

"We go in there and have a melee, that's how it's always done!" to anyone else she would have shouted this, but when she saw Rivven she jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around him "We're going to kill them all one by one," she kissed his cheek and smiled down, putting her head up against his "And I need you to help us love."

"I know, that's what I'm here to do." he said, holding her up firmly in his arms, and kissing her back, lightly on the lips. "However I've been speaking to Quintilius. Melee is a viable option, but the enemy's dug in, and they have high performance fire arms. If you just rush in, you'll have more bullets in you by the time you get close enough to strike than I did that night you found me on the hill. I think we need to bring them out of their hiding place, and perform the rush to melee like an ambush; I think I can 'smoke' them out of their hiding hole, and if we can force them to the forest from there, it will get much easier for us all to come down on them without leaving as much opening to enemy fire until we're close enough to force them to drop the rifles and take out close combat weaponry." it seemed odd, talking tactics and killing while affectionately holding his wife, but it needed to be done sooner or later, and if they'd just been sitting about like he and Quintilius had been before, it would have been nothing out of the ordinary at all to him. "I've been told they set up defenses by the bar's ruins. Would you or Pale know of a body of water within a short walk of there?"

"That's how I've always-" well, she'd had an awful lot of close calls, hadn't she? Maybe he was on to something then, if he knew to stop her, so maybe she could at least give this a listen "When you said smoke them out, Wedsday could start a fire, couldn't he? If I understand it right, as long as he's not excited then he can put it out whenever he wants. I know there's a pong behind Aes's office, and a small rivver that runs through the east side. Not to mention the ocean." she had no desire to get off him for the moment.

Rivven kissed her again, and considered it. "I didn't literally mean smoke them out. People often get enemies, or even and animal their hunting, out of a hole they've dug themselves into safely by starting a fire on it or in one entrance, but as our enemy is on a cleared landscape and in the open, not a building, smoke won't work itself. No, I was thinking more along the lines of applying the concept in a way it's much less often done; I can flood them out. All I need is some water, preferably a rather short walk between here and there, or else I'll risk tiring myself out just getting the proper amount here, before I start trying to smother them in it."

There were other people around, but she really didn't care. They were still newlyweds, back fresh from their honeymoon even, and she nuzzled him "Yes, I had to do a lot of hunting for myself for a stretch of time. But the idea isn't so bad. However, you know these enemies better than I do, I'll concede."

"I just want to finish this without too many more injuries than need be." he said, and leaned his head against her, closing his eyes and taking a deep, calming breath. "I just look forward to having you, and everyone else for that matter, safe again. Besides, how are we supposed to settle in at home with all this?" he chuckled, and kissed one of her cheeks.

"I sometimes wonder if I was ever meant to have a stable home." smiling, she looked back at her, at all the people that were behind her that she had effectivly been ignoring "Unless there's anymore suggestions..."

Rivven paused, taking a more serious expression, lowering his lips to her neck and kissing her just once. "If you want one... I'm sure you'll find one. We can build ourselves a place to call our own, together." he wispered, not actually refering to a building, but what made a building a home, that emotion of belonging, of safety and comfort. She deserved, at the very least, that. Everyone did, to some extent. And he wanted to find out what that would feel like, to have a home. He would have talked more in depth, but they probably should have been putting their full attention into the planning then, so the rest might be best left until later.

Stepping foward he ignored the way they were acting and focused on what needed to be done. "While it's nice that you have time enough to think such thoughts time is something we don't really have for they could leave and strike us at any time. Now Rivven the only fault I find with your plan so far is that we can do considerable damage to the villiage as well. We are only lucky that a number has fled so the chance of innocents dieing is slim to begin with." Turning to Morgan he held his hand behind him for a servant who had among others carried the weapons. A shotgun was placed in his hand. "Well Morgan, did you ever practise with that pistol of yours? Because I think if your not so dis-inclined you would find this an interesting weapon." Holding it out he couldn't help but smile at the thought of how deadly a weapon he held. Lighter then his musket, could fire more rounds with out reloading, and was far more destructive. Placing the weapon under his armed he look to the others, "Any where we can get some armour? We can enchant it so it can handle more damage." Turning back to Morgan, "Rivven also told me that you could do illusions, any way we can use that?"

Alan, who had overheard parts of the conversation on his way back to his lab, stopped for a moment. He raised a finger.
"If I may interrupt for a moment, I believe I have a solution to your armor problem."
He pulled the small metal ball from his pocket and held it up. "This metal should be able to withstand their guns. I tested it in the lab and it held up very well. I should be able to make more if I can get the materials. Its near impossible to shape without magic though, so we'll have to create it allready in the form of what we need."

"I told you, I can minimize the damage, though I can't ensure there won't be any. If you really don't want me to do it, what is it you propose we do to get them out of there?" he said, and stopped to snap his head around toward the man walking in on the conversation. "Who... you... have... I seen you before?" he puzzled over it a minute, then shrugged it off. Seemed like a familiar face, probably just another guild member he'd walked past but never really met. "Armor... well, I suppose you can all make use of it... but... armor... I don't know. Not a bad idea, but... don't make anything of it for me that'll impede my movement of flexibility at all." he said, skeptically. He'd never really worn armor, and despite how it might be very practical in this case, he was not at all fond of the idea.

"I think simple shields would work better really, not to mention that they would be easier to make. I'm not sure how effective we would be from behind them, but it would serve as a great distraction to anyone firing upon us. It would allow someone else to perhaps go unnoticed."
