I'm not a fan of democracy either, but I'd definitely prefer a democratic society to a dictatorship. Besides, who says KB has to be the new mod?

I'd rather nobody be in charge, but unfortunately the GGN doesn't work like that. So Democracy's the next best thing in this case.
Also, are you calling yourself an evil genius?

I guess I shouldn't use that word, evil..... it's obsolete. Genius? Well by comparison................. let's not go there; won't get me any friends. Anarchy is worse than democracy in all objective, realistic, and empirical respects, though.

To each his own. The main objective of Anarchy is to take the power away from the individuals and give it back to the people. From what you've said here, it's obvious you don't intend for that to happen. Not even so much as creating a member-elected mod.

From what you've said here, it's obvious you don't intend for that to happen. Not even so much as creating a member-elected mod. Depends who the members are. I'm not exactly going to like receiving votes from someone who's never really around or contributing, or at least isn't knowledgible about who's who and what's what. And anarchy takes away more power than it gives.

All of such people have different messengers than others, and some don't have them at all. Not to mention selecting these members alone is arbitrary and unduly difficult in getting them on at once. I don't see any reason that stuff needs to be made outside of this thread itself. I myself see it to be all but entirely pointless, because it doesn't fix the problems we already have and gives rise to possibilities of others.

Goodness. Okay, everyone can give up on the talking Twi into making a subforum of any type, or anything related. It's clearly visible that he isn’t going to listen to anyone of us, unless we come up with some holier than thou reason for making one. So enough with the conflict already, it's annoying and going no where.

So enough with the conflict already, it's annoying and going no where. That's the thing, Yotsuba..... no one's even so much as given a clear idea for the subforum that's received universal backing. Whooptido, I'll go ahead and buy a subforum, but it's pretty god damned pointless if not enough people can agree what it should be used for. This is why I'm waiting for everyone to listen to what Tyr said and actually think of something we could actually use it for. And no, I'm not ignoring the ideas already suggested, but they seem quite pointless, because I don't think anyone's had problems navigating the guild before, though do correct me if I'm wrong. The OOC idea really has nothing wrong with it, to be honest, but we don't exactly have an overwhelming number of OOC threads that we need to get rid of. I'm a little at odds with KB's idea of a new roleplay subforum because I'm not entirely clear on it. I'd most likely be more convinced if its story was more thought out, explained, and of course appealing to new members before I bought a subforum for it.

Oh my god, our resident 'genius' is an idiot. It's ironic, and it's cute, and it's sort of ignorant the way he holds himself in such high regard.
Do I want modship? The answer is a clear and definite yes. I've wanted it for a long time, thought I deserved it, and thought the only reason I don't have it is because the current leadersip is completely incompetant with dealing with such things. You guys are good for paying for things, or modding posts, clearing up junk, sending PM's, but that's about it. Your responsibilities are nearly entirely OOC matters and you can't even manage to make that discerned clearly.
In any case, the suggestion is to make an alternate subforum that roleplays in a unique universe, or at least one situated far enough away from the BC that they're seperate in their motivations. You want people to be active, but not just at the Citadel, yes?
This suggestion would allow all the players to interact on a regular basis. The mods wouldn't have any greater IC power, and it would act in accordance to the member's wishes. No one would RP at the Citadel in this subforum because it wouldn't be there. Everyone would be the same, everyone would be equal.
TJ couldn't power trip like a little child and makes excuses to do so, because his characters wouldn't be an ounce more prestigous. I think that's the real reason he's putting the idea off, and why the mods have failed to understand my suggestion. TJ and Nana like their stranglehold and refuse to budge, even against the better intrests of the guild and it's members.
In any case the mod and such would be a voted basis, the main idea of which would also be voted on. Anyone who disliked it wouldn't be forced to play there. The OOC thread would of course remain here, as it is guild-wide. A smaller OOC might form if the subforum becomes popular enough, but only time would tell.
Don't you dare say I don't make suggestions. I had an outline for a basic level system one year before you had a flashy chart that isn't even enforced, and I made mine in the course of one night.
I had a suggested rule that would eliminate the use of gods or over-powered races. One that could be used without re-creating or cutting back characters.
It took me only an hour or so to collect a list of every thread, it's content, and it's activity prepared for Nana and everyone else to make the proper adjustments. The mass-PM wasn't made at that time, so it was mostly overlooked.
I've been banned for this guild for it's betterment, and I've fought openly against every wrong, tyrannical, immature near-sighted rule or decision you TJ and Nana have made. I've fought Nana's suggestion on having to have permission to kill a character, for the betterment of the guild's main spirit and frame of ideals. I've done s**t that could get me banned off gaia, I've ranted, I've cluttered, and I've pissed people the ******** off.
Nonetheless, you can't stop me. You can't stop me from pointing out that your GM barrier was promised to come down around last Christmas. You can't stop me from pointing out everything your messing up, how TJ you fail to make enough time for the guild, and how your main focus is shacking up with Nana in a barrier so you can play King and Queen of the universe.
In short, you can go ahead and ******** right off Mr. Genius, because you haven't a clue what you're doing.

Well aside from all the Stupid and, pathetic agruements that aren't being solve with such long posts that make no sense, other than make matters worse. I'ma be gone from the 6th till the 15th. Vacation.
