Some of the older threads still have plot use. Some are still very much going to be used aswell. There are pieces of important plot in some of them aswell.

I would like to point out one thing with new members posting once and leaving.... usually they start in the very short list of places its not ok to do... and they would know this if they read the first post.

The reason for which, is because they don't have much of a variety to choose from to post in. The Dojo is destroyed, the garden isn't much better, most guild activity is being devoted to the citadel, most threads have died, all thats left is OOC and the forest really.

So of course they're going to try and gain access to other areas of the guild without RPing their way in. I just don't want the BC to die out like other guilds that grew too big to support members, new and old alike.

EDIT: Nana- then use PMs to ask members if they wish to keep threads, what can it hurt?

About whether or not they wish to keep threads? I understand you PM the members, but not about this.

Plots at the citadel? What new member is going to be able to RP in that and be welcome to RP? As for being slow, considering how long that current barriar has been up, Mastema's plot is showing alot of ill progression, but again, that is just my opinion.

sweatdrop Of course I PM them about it. Last time I did with a relatively unused thread I had my head bitten off for it too.

There are other plots being equally slow in the guild. Mostly due to people having to wait for the other guy to get on and respond. It isn't just one thread, and I'm sure you've noticed that. 3nodding If the character is away elsewhere, the thread will fall.

And there is life again in the BC... well the spark of life.

There have been bars in the past. Right now we have the Randy Goat. sweatdrop .....

There are temples too. Heck there's Twice Royal a city with probably anything you need. No one notices them or their potential use. Twi has made other threads aswell. As for me, who would I have interact with users? All my characters are engaged elsewhere and I'd feel I would have to make a completely useless character with no pourpose to interact in that case. neutral There's no reason to make a thread if I'm not going to use it right?

Although Kuro has contradicted herself a little, I'll try to back it up a bit.

The BC started with just the dojo, and the only other real additions before the GGN were the garden, the battlefield (which has since become obselete), and a thread for mas's original base, which is also not in use.

The BC isn't meant to be a GGN guild; it started out as a simple dojo thread where basically everything happened and everyone interacted. Honestly, it wasn't originally intended to have all of these other threads, but when these other, member made threads were used in the present guild, they enriched the storylines greatly. There's no need to shut them down.

I'm sure as hell not going to make any more main threads for the dojo, because it's finer as a single thread that includes everything and allows members to go there. Although, I have given thought to making the dojo a subforum of its own with a main room and individual rooms for its inhabitants. That idea is still under consideration.

I made the universal thread for the purposes of filling in for any one time only locations, so to speak, and so far members have used it quite well.

but yes, the guild has more than enough facilities, and I doubt they should be taken away after they've played a huge role in the past.

There's more evidence, also, to show that people are more attracted to large plots rather than petty ones.
