{{Gonna go ahead and go forward with Altan while Secret's here. Everyone can post their reactions to what's happened so far if you want. smile Don't want you all to think I'm moving forward without you.}}
Professor Markums didn't see any questions, so she moved forward. "Alright, if anyone thinks of questions as we go forward, please feel free to ask them. Any questions that pertain to this class are good questions."
She looked over at Altan and smiled at him. "Today we have a special treat before we work with our creatures directly. Altan and Aurora have something great to show us. It's an example of what can happen when familiars and their masters take the time to bond deeply. A deep bond can and should increase the magic of both individuals within the bond. Altan, Aurora, please come forward to the front of the class."
She stepped to the side so that they could stand where she had been.

Altan gave the proudest, most superior look a cat can give as he jumped lightly from Aurora's lap and strutted to the front. Aurora followed him with less flaunt, and stood to his side while he closed his eyes and concentrated. After a couple of moments, a soft golden glow overtook the sphinx and then it began to grow taller, taller, seeming mostly shapeless as this occured. Slowly, tauntingly, as if it was purposely drawn out to tease the viewers, the glow finished its growth and then began to dim into the recognizable shape of a human male.
Altan stood before the students wearing very little in comparison to modern styles. He was taller than Aurora, though it wouldn't be right to say he was tall. His skin was a dark, golden beige color and his eyes were the color of the kohl that permanently rimmed them. His deep black hair was stick-straight, cut with thick bangs, and ending in an impossibly straight cut at jaw-length. His face was rather feminine, but his body more than made up for that. Some gold bands adorned his arm, as well as a collar around his neck that had a triangular-shaped cloth hanging from it and across his shoulders. The eye of Ra* was sewn beautifully onto the white cloth in gold.
((*I probably have this wrong.))

Holy Emperor Raigin ((More of filler then anything else... besides he doesnt know that)) Raigin nodded taking a seat before the head mistriss. "Thank you for your time M'lady." he said politely. "I have been asked by one of the students to teach her to comunicate to plants as the elves do. Seeing no harm in this I accepted and wanted to Let you know before hand in case you had any qualms with it... or walked by and thought that something... fishy was going on." he said calmly. ((Sorry for not responding to this sooner! I accidentally looked over it at first.)) Arielle nodded slowly as she thought. "I see no problem. Thank you, Raigin, for telling me, however. I would hate to have been mislead by my own thoughts. Might I inquire as to which student you intend to tutor?" Of course, this sounded like a request, but it was more of a polite demand.

Raigin nodded, "Of course, to be mislead by ones own thoughts is terrible indeed." he said with a smile. "I have been asked by one miss Evermore." he said calmly sitting back in his chair.

Ares' mouth dropped open when Altan transformed. In disbelief, he turned to Ever. "Did you know he could do that?!?!"

Ever gasped as she watched Altan transform into a human. She heard Ares' question, but before she could respond, things started falling into place. All of the comments Altan had made this morning about using human vocal cords came back to her.
She leaned toward Ares and whispered, "No I didn't... but it completely makes sense now! Remember those things he was saying this morning about singing with a human voice? This must be how he knew human voices were easier to sing with!"

Ever couldn't help but laugh. "I know, right?! I feel like a complete tool."
Professor Markums smiled brightly at Aurora and Altan and then nodded to the rest of the class. "Well done, Altan! Very well done. And good work at becoming so bonded with him, Aurora. If you wish, you can take the rest of this class period off and use it as a free time. It is entirely up to you."
Some of the other students in the class groaned softly, having wished they had that opportunity, too. But most students enjoyed this class. The simple idea of having a class period off was all that some of them were thinking about, though.
Professor Markums continued. "The rest of you may get started with your individual study now. Use your time wisely and ask me any questions that you might have."
Ever turned to Ares. "Are you going to go into the pen and see if you can find a familiar?"

Michael watched with wonder, seeing the little cat transform into a humanoid. It made him remember his past in a way, transforming into a dragon for the first time. His smile immediately faded, and was replaced by his face going white with horror.
"...Very interesting." He muttered to no one, still pale as a ghost. He looked down into his lap, trying to ignore the memories that surfaced. Memories he had long since buried. A feeling of dread was stirring and he had to calm himself before he made a scene.
"Professor Markums, may I head to the restroom? I do not feel well." The floramancer asked meekly. He cursed lowly under his breath in Draconian, just wanting his memories to go away.

Professor Markums looked up and over at Michael. When she saw his pale face, she grew worried.
"Of course you can, Michael. Perhaps you should go to the infirmary as well. I can send someone to go with you to make sure you get there alright."
She started looking around the class for someone that could go with him. Then she saw Aurora.
"Aurora, since you have the rest of the class period off, would you mind accompanying Michael to the infirmary, please?"

She was dubious as to Evermore's intentions behind taking lessons on plants from Raigin, but she had never been one to discourage a student from learning. "Thank you for informing me," she said, somewhat dismissively. "I do appreciate it. Is there anything else you have to tell me?"

Altan smiled charmingly and bowed his head at Professor Markums. "Thank you, professor," he replied. His vocal speech, unlike his mental speech, had a slight accent. Where the accent originated was anybody's guess, as it was a most unusual accent, but it was there nonetheless.
Aurora was worried about Michael, and when the professor asked if she would accompany him, she nodded, curtsying slightly. "It would be my pleasure." Then she turned to Michael, Altan standing by her. He seemed to be pleased with his human form, and did not seem to wish to return to his more natural feline shape. She motioned towards the school. "Shall we?"

Michael wasn't about to argue with Professor Markums on having an escort; he knew it'd be pointless and he'd still have to have an escort. He gave a slow nod to the professor before rising from his seat and meeting the girl known as Aurora and her humanoid sphinx.
He was still pale; his mind racing non-stop at all the memories. Seeing his mother and father fight, his mother leaving, his dad bringing different women home to become his "new mommy". It was driving him crazy! He didn't want to remember all the pain that went with that. Michael walked into the hallway, looking both left and right before turning to Aurora.
"...Which way do we go?"

Aurora pointed to the left, then offered her arm. "You truly do not look well. Would you like help walking?" If he accepted, she'd just use her powers and grow a bit to accomadate. She didn't mind--if she did, she would not have offered. "Whatever it is, though," she said, not wanting to intrude upon his privacy, "I'm certain that Meimei will have something for you. She seems to have something for everything."

Alisa Moon walked through the halls carrying her books. It was going to be awhile before she had to be anywhere. She just didn't know what to do, other than homework. Maybe head to the pool for a swim and visit with Ural? Now that sounded like fun.
It was as she was walking her eyes landed on a couple of people in the hall. One of them, didn't look well. Worry spread across her face as she started up to them.
"Hey are you two alright?" she asked then gasped when she recognized the boy, her worry growing for the boy who she had become friends with as she went to the school, "Michael! What happened?"
