Cale Darksun Des Voh Reminds me of a story I've read though. Have you ever read American Gods by Neil Gaimen, Cale? No. Is it any good? @YY: My boys were armwrestling with Heracles and partying with Thor. The Gods werent just anonymous figures giving subtle hints. They were Alive, active, and more than ready to meddle in mortal affairs. Because they were gods. They could do whatever the ******** they wanted. Not that they did. The Players wouldnt have fun then. But they certainly knew where they stood in the order of the world. That made them work that much harder to have epic exploits and adventures, just so they could reach beyond 20th level and be deities themselves. Well, that sounds like fun. I wish I could play with you guys, that'd be one hell of an adventure for me, (:

Its amazing, you know the movies Stardust and Mirrormask? His books. Hes written a good amount and is basically redefining Modern Fairy Talism. I've read most of his books. Definitively worth the trip to B&N.

I've often wished i could as well, my group here sucks. All people who have been playing sense 1st, and they completely take advantage of 3rd rules. Nothing is ever simple or low-powered. As to the link. Thats pretty amazing. xd

We could use the help (And the feminine perspective). We're currently in an Oriental realm of my own devising, where Elves and Dwarves are nobility over countless numbers of rice scarfing humans. Unfortunately, in the ten millenia or so since the founding of the Great Empire, society has kinda stagnated. Also, we have reasonably smart Orcs, who's manerisms and culture is remarkably like 13th Century Mongolia. And they now have themselves a Gengis Khan. An Orc invasion unlike any the Campaign World has ever seen is looming on the horizon, and its up to the heroes to try and halt it. Thus far they've all died at least twice and have made no progress whatsoever save for getting a man loving noble Prince to side with them in their efforts to thwart the invasion. Mwahahahahahahaha.

@ des: I'm kind of surprised that Gengis was only #5 on the list. No Ive never heard of those movies, Yeah my group takes advantage of 3rd edition(I've managed to handle it somehow) and I might just have to do that, providing i can find a B&N in the area.

Whaaaat? You have no females in the group? O.o How strange, you are.
Either way, I'd love to join. Just the fact that you've changed the norm of each race is enough to make me wanna join. I dunno, our DM never really had any bright ideas. stare
Man-loving Prince, you say? s**t, he better be good for something. ):

I got a picture of him somewhere I could load up if interested. And yes, he is gay as Ranmaru Mori. He can still kick a** though. The leasurely life of Nobility gives you plenty of time to practice your sword skills.
And no. We've no girl gamers. We're all good Catholic boys down here. While Johnny was willing to play a female character from time to time, as DM i was the one who rolled one up most often, just so the adventure group had at least one representative of the opposite gender.

Right, I'm usually the token girl of the group, and I'm usually the token elf on the group as well, cause yanno, the rest of the group are "men" and wouldn't want to play something so "feminine looking"... stare
Whatever..
I dunno, I really haven't played that much since my last campaign with said DM, perhaps I should look around and try joining another, I need to refresh my skills anyways. (:
